Its a High Standard to get a temporary restraining order but the recounts are as a result how close the races have become and im starting to think that may be where a lot of the surprise comes if there is a surprise and that is in the hand recount, for example in georgia. They may be successful in pennsylvania as well. So liz, i think, you know, youve been on top of this issue and i think, many of us are looking at it saying it seems like an uphill battle but it is gaining some momentum. Elizabeth in arizona i think joe bidens lead is 0. 7. If it slips below 0. 5, there will be a recount in arizona. So weve seen, weve been doing the math and talking to, and looking at the vote count. The trump team would have to overturn 275,000 votes over spread across pennsylvania and where the counts are going on. That would effectively finding 75,000, each of those votes are individually fraudulent, 57,000 dead people. That is the issue. That is at stake . Is that how you see it . Yeah it is. They have to see something, for example, you heard the story about individuals filling out ballots and being observed and one person came forward in arizona and saw multiple ballots being filled out. They would have to find a cache of those where it is very apparent that this is one person who is filling out multiple ballots. The dates could be, the location where it is at. There could be many factors, they have to find a cache a significant amount of those in each of those states. Unless a recount comes back and theyre able to sort through some of these, these issues that seem to be highlights on the individual cases. Elizabeth you know sure aint over. It is not over. A lot of the people pushing this defund the police notion are just total hypocrites. For example this week an official in portland who is a big advocate of defund the police, says that most 911 calls are unnecessary, she called 911 herself when her lyft driver canceled her ride. This is another example of liberal hypocrisy. These people want open borders, yet they lived in walled in gated communities. They want no School Choice but send their own kids to private schools in limos and they want to defund the police. Of course most of the people pushing for this can afford to live in safe neighborhoods. Many of them including celebrities have their own armed security. That is so sad. Theyre not prioritizing underserved families being hurt by the poor policy. Elizabeth minority communities as you pointed out. Exactly. Elizabeth this is why there is burgeoning growing civil war with the far left versus democrats because the moderates are saying your defund the police push is slamming voters nationwide in districts that we are now losing. But, so, do you, do you agree with that . I mean we keep hearing that but the Progressive Left is saying no, we are in the right. Continue to defund. Now joe biden may be calling for a National Commission to study what is it going on with the police departments. I think maybe the studies should be look what is happening in the aftermath of these decisions. What do you think . Youre exactly right. A lot of minority families, workingclass People Living in the inner sis are waking up to this. That is why republicans did better than expected last week because these radical democrats are not appealing to workingclass people and those vulnerable to crime. S. Border and u. S. Cities and this new report says it is getting worse. What are your thoughts . It is and great to be with you again, liz. It has been a wild week. This report is extremely troubling. Lets face it, this is not a right or left issue, conservative or liberal issue. This is about Public Safety which is the first role of government. Lets face it. And the idea that these gangs and these cartels are now killing journalists in mexico. Mexico is relatively ungoverned at this point in time. We need to make sure the security is strong. I saw your last guest, the kind of extremism that seems to per say people on the left. The one thing im ken couraged about here, liz, is that last week, california voters rejected a lot of that extremism. They denied this move to end cash bail. They killed affirmative action, race baiting that goes on with that. They killed a big tax increase and i think they will rebel against this effort that to lesson Border Security. Liz, i have a 15yearold daughter, a beautiful young lady. There is a lot of Human Trafficking as well as Drug Trafficking that goes on the border here. Im only 30 miles away from the mexican border. I want to make sure we have a wall. I want to make sure we support the Border Patrol. I want to make sure the wall has a big door in it so we have people we know can come into the country, can become americans and contribute but Border Security is something we cant let fail. We have to do something about that. At the same time, we also do something about this Sanctuary City Movement which is the next thing to fall in california. Elizabeth you know people are proimmigration. You know they are. Elizabeth you can be proimmigration and proBorder Security. Being proimmigration is not the same thing as Border Security. What were seeing nearly a dozen journalists in mexico getting shot to death. Three in the last few weeks as you mentioned. We see mexicos homicide per capita rate higher than the middle east. Pentagon reports that the drug cartels in mexico, behind all the heroin, most of the cocaine, fentanyl coming into the u. S. Theyre using drones, tunnels, planes and boats. Just last month the mexican army tracked a plane caring 57 kilograms of who heroin and going cain trying to break in. As the border wall want up. As trump did 400 executive orders on Border Security. They have done all that. They try to bring drugs in via vegetables, medical supplies, home goods and trucks and more. Right. Elizabeth we see it time and again, so im just not, you and i talk about it, john, just not seeing it on the radar screen in other media or washington. Your thoughts . Well it is threatening our young people. Lets face it, liz, the war on drugs, putting people in jail for drugs is not the answer. Weve got to get treatment. The extremists in sacramento want to give out free needles to people that live on the street. The aidea is to avoid hepatitis. The same time we are sending the wrong message. Interduct the border. Make sure drugs are not coming across. At the same time we have to attack the demand in this country. I have a young teenage daughter. A lot of other parents are worried about this flood of drugs that could come into the country especially if some of these Security Apparatus is dismantled in the next few years. Weve got to make sure we keep these drugs out of this country. We can do that, at the same time we also attack the demand for it. We treat drug addiction.
