Joining me now etf trend tom, also joining the conversation this morning fox business Dagen Mcdowell and Founding Partner Mitch Roschelle. Great to see everybody this morning. Good morning. Tom, lets start with you, give us your take on the markets, whats fueling this drive . Tom seems to be more of the tame, maria, when you look at the broadbase rally that we are having, some of the small caps are kicking in but when you really look at what is driving it, its fang stocks, communication where the average investor and the average Small Businesses really embrace technology so the key thing when you look for momentum for the president towards the end of the month, these Technology Stocks are going to start reporting earnings and i think they will be better than expected. Maria yeah, we are waiting on earning season in general, the season kicks off next week, thirdquarter earnings are going to be starting with the banks in the upcoming week, banks like jp morgan, goldman sachs, bank of america reporting on the 1third. When you talk about banks you look at specifically Morgan Stanley, the acquisitions recently. They finished acquisition in etrade which is very telling and then just buying and we are seeing consolidation going on, a lot of pricing pressure in the the trading and bagging, lower fees, competition really among mutual funds where mutual funds to a great degree are bleeding assets as etfs are growing, we will see record etfs this year and more pressure on the banks and especially investment side in the business. Maria yeah. We will eventually see defaults come into the to the plan here but not quite yet this this earning season. Right now its all going to be on the Investment Banking side and that continues to look strong. Maria yeah, im glad that you mentioned Morgan Stanley, you know, for a while Morgan Stanley had the priority to grow assets under management, really emphasis the Wealth Management business, the bank acquiring ean vance, was does it tell you its going, offering steady fees and little capital to run on, you the Wealth Management part of the business being prioritized . Yeah, what we have seen as far as performance standpoint the mutual fund is under pressure because fees are lower and have been beating active management in the last ten years, its tough to acquire assets and what investors are doing and advisers are doing they are speaking with their feet and they are going to lower cost options and with basically free trading today theyve got to find areas to make money somewhere else and thats all about scale, scale is acquisition and expect more especially in the banking side. Yeah, i mean, youve got lots of deals happening, let me get mitch and dagen in here because theres also wall street journal story talking about 30 billiondollar deal, possible acquisition target for a d. Dagen, theyre using the stock market as currency . Dagen indeed, and the thinking also factors any what mightwith the election and you have a lot of back and forth over what would a Bidenharris Administration potentially would look like and what that would mean and should we get ahead of that potentially happening. You can see even more dealmaking pick up between election day and inauguration day. Nobody really knows what will happen but i think that theres a lot of concern about greater regulation, crackdowns, antitrust crackdowns under a democratic administration. Maria its a great point and, tom, you know, in that vein, look at what the democrats and what joe biden and Kamala Harris want to do with Capital Gains taxes. We see Capital Gains taxes go up into the 40 range you will see a major selloff by year end and people will take their profits before they get with the Capital Gains tax next year. Tom we did a web cast yesterday with over a thousand advisers, maria, and most advisers feel split as far as who is going to win but both feel markets will be up in the next 12 months. Youre absolutely right on taxes, Capital Gains taxes is a big concern for wall street. State taxes as well. We are in the lovely state of california, top tax rate is going to be up to 11. 8 , you cant avoid. Its part of the new rules we will be playing in, however, theres definitely profitability in certain areas, again, when you talk about technology, the fastest pace of group is right there. Maria absolutely. Thank you so much. Tom thanks, maria. Stock of chip maker soaring this morning after Advanced Micro Devices is in advanced talks to buy the company, the deal would be valued at more than 30 billion, shares of amd sliding on the news, we are just Getting Started this morning, coming up right here, stay with us, protecting american manufacturing. Maria welcome back, President Trump holding the decision to hold next president ial debate virtually. The president broke the news since first interview after testing positive for coronavirus, watch. The commission on president ial debates announcing this morning that the second president ial debate will be virtual, youre saying youre not going to participate . No, im not going to waste my time on virtual debate. Thats not what debating is all about. You sit behind a computer and debate, thats ridiculous. Maria democratic nominee joe biden has scheduled a town hall in place of that debate next thursday. Joining me right now real clear politics philip wagman, will we see two debates before election day . I certainly hope we see more debates and we need something to write about to lead up to the election. We need to remember that this is not the first time that donald trump has walked away from the debate stage. Back in the republican primary there was a debate that he boycotted that he was not happy with the way that the moderators had put things together. He walked away. I think the key difference now, though, is that he needs to draw this contrast with joe biden this close to the election. He needs these contests to make up some of some of the room between them. Im not sure whats going to happen here, but i think that if youre the president ial commission on debates, you take the president at his word. Maria all right, so you think then is this a negative for the president to just not be involved, look what joe biden did. He scheduled a town hall in place of it. Yeah, the ironic thing of this is that joe biden seems to get what he wants, he can go have a town hall somewhere else on his own terms if a debate doesnt happen and the other thing thats interesting about these debates that we are having about debates is that they overshadow, you know, a key victory that the Trump Campaign was able to achieve during the Vice President ial debate which was that mike pence really pressed the issue to senator harris which is that the Biden Campaign continues to refuse to say whether or not they support packing the courts. We are not having that policy discussion which has very significant ramifications, instead we are sort of focusing on this squabble right here. Maria you know, i think you make a great point. How is it possible that joe biden keeps getting away with this, philip . Hes asked this question repeatedly and keeps answering the question, im not going to answer you because if i answer you its going to be the lead in every paper and its not going to include Everything Else i said. Well, what . And the reporters are allowing him to escape with that answer, its amazing to me. Theres clearly a double standard and i have seen the press hammer President Trump of not releasing Healthcare Plan or not being forthright on a number of different issues but when it comes to the Supreme Court or comes to this other branch of government, it seems like biden and harris can just say, well, we are not going to come down one way or another on this massively important issue, and we will call it a day. Maria and theyre also completely ignoring the latest on the origins of the russia probe. We are getting more and more information about what took place. I asked the president yesterday, take a listen. What comes next, mr. President. We can have all of the documents, unless john durham comes out with a report out indictments and bill barr comes out with some kind of a ruling here, do you think this is resinating on the American People. This is people should be intuited indicted and these are obama and biden, these are people that spied in my campaign and we have everything. Maria pretty incredible, philip, i reported a week ago that there will be no indictments before the election. Theyll be no john durham interim report either. Theres a debate within the doj about whether 25 days, 30 days out, its too close to the election, what do you think . Is this ever going to see accountability in terms of this theme to take him down . Well, i think that every time President Trump or Vice President pence hears question of peaceful transition of power, they clearly think they didnt have a peaceful transition of power because this is something that dogged them throughout entire first term. Theres fairness to that. I think that what we notice here is theres a little bit of simmering frustration underneath the surface, perhaps with attorney general barr and certainly durham for not moving more quickly but at this point, you know, we have the Mueller Investigation and i would think that in terms of transparency, at least as journalists, we would like to see as many documents as we can to we really fill in the details of this story that define the last four years. Maria absolutely. Its been plaguing this administration for this entire term. Philip, great to see you this morning, thank you so much for weighing in. Philip wagmann. Meanwhile growing issues across the country including Los Angeles County where more than 2,000 ballots were printed without the president ial race. Dagen, every day i feel like we have another story of a mishaps on ballots. Dagen i will start with this rather than end with this, if you were able to go to a super market during shutdown you can go cast ballot, put on a mask and social distance, new york voting start at the end of october, you can go to polling places and vote. This is this is definitely going to happen. More than half a million ballots mailin ballots were rejected during primaries, 550,000 ballots rejected according to some reports and very often its something simple like a signature isnt, you know, doesnt match your signature on file or the outside of the ballot, the envelope isnt signed at all but nevertheless, peoples people deserve to have their votes counted and when you rely on mailin balloting, mailin voting like we never have before, a lot of votes will be not get counted and thats bad for the nation whether youre right, left or center. Maria it really is. Mitch, thats one thing that most people would like to see, a fair accounting of where we were. I want to see a fair election, thats why i was outraged by the, you know, by the plot to take down trump because you had people in power putting their finger on the scale. Lets just have a fair and square election but its up in the air with the mailin ballot situation. Mitch its up in the air because there could be ballots coming after election day in some of the states and jurisdictions. I think theres a market implication to this because we know theyll be uncertainty regarding the outcome of the election and i think its its inevitable that theyll be uncertainty, i think the extent of the uncertainty is what Market Makers havent priced in yet. If theres a Biden Administration thats taxing Capital Gains at higher rate we could see selling at the end of the year. I talked about market volatility going into the election and the real market volatility is election day through the end of the year. Maria i think you make a great point, mitch, and youve done a lot of work on taxes, what are we talking about in terms of taking the capital tax gains up, its a significant move from where we are right now and thats going to move markets. Mitch whats been baked into Capital Markets for quite a while back to the Bush Administration is using lower Capital Gains tax rates as a means to incentivize Capital Investment. You turn that on its head and you deincentivize Capital Investment and i think its a shot to the Capital Markets and the way people invest and its really not what our system is designed for for the past generation or so, you have to do a lot of thinking before you take capital gain rates all the way to 40 . Maria yeah, 40 is going to mean, investors are going the say, look, let me sell now in 2020 while im still gaiting Capital Gains tax of 21 and not 40 , thats why we are expecting a selloff yearend. Mitch, thank you. Protecting american manufacturing, Congress Secretary wilbur ross will join me for an exclusive interview talking about the steps the Administration Takes to ensure fair trade. Maria welcome back, good friday morning, everybody, thank you so much for joining us. Im Maria Bartiromo and it is friday october 9th, lets take a look at markets this morning, 6 30 a. M. On the east coast, rally underway. Futures indicate to go close out the week with a tripledigit move, up 126 points on the dow, nasdaq is up 34 and the s p 500 this morning up 15 and a quarter. Half percent. This on top of the big rally yesterday boosted by renewed talks between top lawmakers on stimulus. The coronavirus package, aid talk had the market up in triple digits. Dow industrials up 122, nasdaq up 56 and s p higher by 27 at 4 00 oclock on wall street. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is ruling out any special support for the Airline Industry if a broader agreement is not reached as you see the airlines finished mixed yesterday. European markets on the rise this morning as well. The momentum continues there as youll see the ftse 100 up 37 and cac quarante 17 and dax was negative. Mixed story in asia, best performer was china following golden week holiday, 3 days of holidays, shanghai composite opening up one and twothirds percent. Protecting American Business and workers, the department of commerce announcing that broadest u. S. Trade enforcement action in two decades, preliminary determination show that aluminum sheet import from 18 countries had been dumped and in some cases unfairly subsidized into the u. S. Market. When you say dumping, that means coming from Foreign Countries at cheap levels. Joining me commerce secretary wilbur ross, good to have you this mornings thank you very much for joining us. Assess the situation in terms of aluminum dumping in the United States. Secretary this is the largest and farreaching case that our department has brought in more than 20 years. It covers 1. 96 billion worth of aluminum sheets in parts from 18 different countries. The largest single one is germany and those rates vary 52 to 132 . Second largest is bahrain but the rates are very low mostly down in single digits. These are preliminary determinations but the tariffs will be starting to be collected right away. Final determination will be in february 2021 assuming that the itc rules that there really was damage. Maria so tell me how significtenant significant the tariffs will be . Secretary well, 196 billion worth of goods and thats a pretty large percentage of the total aluminum in the country. Whats notable is china is not on the list. China, we have many, many tariffs against their aluminum products so whats really been happening, excuse me, chinese excess capacity has been dumped into other markets, that in turn displaces production which gets dumped here so its a very complicated setup but the net effect is a lot of dumping in the u. S. Thats what we are clamping down on. Maria so this is what youve said for a couple of years now, that much of the production is happening in china but its able to get these cheap products through ports at several other countries and that was the thinking about placing tariffs everywhere else to make sure that youre getting all of the product thats being dumped here, how much are you talking about in terms of additional tariffs . Are you going to be instituting additional tariffs on these countries . Secretary well, we already had some cases against four of the countries, those were imposed some months ago, but this is 18 countries which is a lot to have for one product and 1. 96 billion is a really meaningful number both in absolute terms and relative to the aluminum industry. Maria secretary, weve had this discussion over the years over the negative implications of the tariffs and the facts that youre making the products that go into other bigger products, more expensive so its actually going to Cost Companies more money to produce cars, to to make moment, are you worried about the negative implications of any additional tariffs here, secretary . Secretary well, thats only partially true. Very often the same countries that are subsidizing the exports, subsidize some of the tariff and they do it either directly or by letting their currency depreciate. Both ways help to offset the tariff. The other thing that happens is that fundamental demand for many of the consuming products has gotten very strong. I was out in indiana 2 days ago and there one of the leading Companies Making recreational vehicles, rvs, said that they are month, months backlogged despite prices, despite the cbd and despite Everything Else because whats happening is a lot of americans are deciding they dont want to travel by plane, they dont want to go overseas, so they are buying pretty luxurious recreational vehicles importantly made out of aluminum and theyre using those for vacation homes. Similarly outdoor boating has had a huge boom since cbd. Anything to do with Outdoor Recreation has had a boom and when you have the strong underlying conditions in an industry, the tariffs arent so much of a problem. So just to be clear, secretary, when would the tariffs be instituted, the new tariffs . Secretary theyre in effect right now. Maria okay, secretary, good to see you this morning, thanks very much, we will be watching the impact. Secretary wilbur ross, great to see you, sir, thank you. President , we can have all of the documents and we can see exactly what happened but unless john durham comes out with a report or indictments or unless bill barr comes out with some kind of a ruling here, do you think this is resinating with the American People . Unless bill barr indicts people in the greatest crime in history, we will get less satisfaction unless i win because i wont forget it but these people should be indicted, this was the greatest political crime in the history of our country and that includes obama and it includes biden. These are people that spied in my campaign. Maria that was President Trump yesterday on this program talking to me about the russia investigation and the bombshell declassification of documents this last week which showed Hillary Clinton was behind a plot to take down candidate trump. It was her and her policy aides idea and comes as Homeland Security as subpoenaed cambridge professors stephan over his involvement in the probe and the scam around the president , joining me right now is former state department and white house employee dr. Steven, hopper was supervisor. Thanks for being back with me. Good to see you. Maria what do you think is going to come out of any witness testimony, were you surprised to see him subpoenaed . I was very glad to see him subpoenaed. I came out in august after working with the durham investigation. I was very concerned that we were missing the chance to get to the bottom of what really happened here and i think this can be a critical turning point where the dam breaks on all of the information because he was involved both before, during and after of the origins of the events and remains highly classified an hidden from the American People. I think he can be a critical person and showing that was a scam from the beginning and unialing how unveiling how all of this uncoiled over the years. Maria theyll be no interim report before the election. My sources tell me theres a major debate going on in the department of justice where many doj lawyers are pushing back on durham saying its too close to the election, its going to its going to appear politically motivated so the American People will not have the details and will not see indictments before the election. All we have are declassified documents from John Ratcliffe, the dni. I want you to walkthrough the timeline with me. We have a timeline in terms of the payouts that stephan hopper got on net assessment t, first he was awarded back in 2015, september of 2015, he was awarded 245,000dollar payout, apparently to study russia and china and in 16 he invites carter page to overseas seminar, you invited carter page, right, to this seminar, tell me what happened when you invited carter page to your conference, steven . Well, hopper really did not know carter page or not identified him until i had invited him there. The key turning point was Christopher Steeles former mi6 boss, which was close to hopper and spoke near my conference and at that point there was a mark change where hopper seemed to be isolating page and seemed to be engaging him and that was a critical turning point where the whole scam and start of this russia gate problem started. And its an origin story that i dont think really has been told and its critical to tell and that i was hoping durham would unveil and uncover but if hopper is not called to testify, we are going to have to get that story out very urgently. Maria well, let me go back to the timeline, we showed you 2015 and 2016, later that year in in september of 2016, hopper is awarded another office of net assessments contract valued at 411,000, so he gets 411,000 again to study chinas economy. Right. Maria and the next month on october 21st, 2016 thats when the fbi secures the first fisa warrant to surveil carter page. Im connecting the dots here. Stephan hopper is paying amounts of money to run into trump people, is that what you see this . He did this before crossfire hurricane had started. I think its new information thats coming out. What youve identified and its egregious that here we are 4 years later hes not been call today testify, hes been protected. The people that are involved have been protected. I think theres major scandals, russiagate scandal that happened at the first instance where they pushed the false stories and now we are in middle of coverup, the durham investigation and investigators have been hiding and covering from the American People as we go to an election. Maria of course, oped this morning by senate Homeland Security chairman ron johnson in the journal and he writes about the transition period. He titles his oped an american coup attempt, he writes this is a crisis in the executive branch perpetrated by officials who dont see themselves as answerable to the president. They have effectively established a Fourth Branch of government, permanent unaccountable bureaucracy, and steven, what ron johnson told me and this is in my book that in the first 125 days of the transition period from obama to trump, there were 126 leaks. I mean, the leaks coming out to try to dictate the story line are just beyond. Yeah, its amazing. We broke on your show a few weeks ago too, stephan hopper, the person he subpoenaed, the main spy in the spygate was seeking senior position, even secretary of state senior ambassadorships while he was helping the fbi false investigation and the fake allegations. Ive been in 20 years in National Intelligence security and the fact that its so buried now and ron johnson deserves a lot of credit for pushing subpoena, where has all of this push to get this information out been over the last several years. Maria yeah, as President Trump told me, there are people who are protected, bottom line. Real quick, steven, before you go, i know that you talked with john durham. Did you get a sense from durham that he understood that there was serious criminality and wrongdoing here . Concerned that they were slowrolling this and i brought things to their attention a year ago and seemed to be lack of attention and a lack of even interest in evidence like the recordings that i had and thats why i felt it was important to come forward to push them hopefully the last 2 months to come up with something and now your reporting is even more disturbing. I think we will have to move forward and release everything that we know and put it in front of the American People so they can make a decision as we heads toward the election. Maria yeah, its really extraordinary. Steven, thanks very much for your insights on this and coming out and sharing all of your information with you, steven, joining us this morning, thank you, sir, see you soon. Maria welcome back, we are tracking hurricane delta this morning, turning towards south western louisiana, expected to make landfall along the gulf coast later today, brings massive rain, storm surges, strong winds, flooding, all eyes on the oil and gas industry in the middle of this as facilities in the gulf have already been evacuated. Joining me right now is Senior Market analyst fox business contributor phil flynn, great to see you, phil, already we are seeing oil prices spiking in the last week up about 10 on the week, phil. Phil it really is, its getting tedious right now for the golf gulf coast and thats a real big concern, you know, already 90 of gulf Oil Production is down, 60 of natural Gas Production is down and the big concern right now for the country and for the economy is how bad this is going to hit the u. S. Refinery sector. Remember it was a couple of months ago that hurricane laura shut down refineries for a long period of time. That caused prices to not go up as much as normal but a second hit to refineries, could cause a problem for gasoline prices across the country because already gasoline supplies have been tightening a lot more than people think, demands come back, so that could cause a problem for gasoline prices if the storm disney damage to the refineries. Maria yeah, all at a time that oil demand is slipping. Youve got a new survey from opec saying that demand in wealthydeveloped countries will fall around 27 over the next 25 years. It will never return to prepandemic levels, phil, so assess the situation when when looking at the demand side of this as well in an environment, we are in a shutdown . Phil moves to alternative fuels, carbon emission cutbacks, a lot of people say that oil is dead but i think that some of the projections are overstated and pretty emotional right now because of the sharp drop in demand. You have to look at the other side of the equation, it was only 10 years ago, 20 years ago were all worried about oil, and everyone predicting that we were going to run out of oil. Maria thats right. Phil i think they are underestimating the amount of energy it takes to create a lot of the alternative fuels whether its carbon or wind, you name it. Maria very good point, philip, good to see you this morning, phil flynn, stay with us. California congressman devin nunes on the other side of this break. It is friday, october 9th. Your top stories, 7 00 a. M. On the east coast. We are 25 days away from the november election. President trump telling me yesterday he would not waste his time on a virtual debate and could be back in the inPerson Campaign trail as early as tomorrow. Joe biden meanwhile gears up for an abc townhall on what would have been the second debate night. Rnc chairwoman Ronna Mcdaniel is here next hour to talk all things 2020 and what to expect on the campaign trail. Were looking at markets this morning, futures closing out the week with a rally, take a look. Weve got the dow industrials up 89 points this morning, nasdaq up 21 and s p 500 up 10 of and three quarters. I should point out this is off of the best levels of the morning. Yesterday, the momentum was strong, markets finished near session highs boosted by renewed talks between top lawmakers on a coronavirus aid package. The dow industrials were up 122 points, the nasdaq was up 56. 56 s phigher by 27. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi ruling out any special support for the air Airline Industry ia broader agreement is not reached. Tracking hurricane delta, the storm restrengthening overnight as it could become category 3 before making landfall on the gulf coast. We take a look at the impact on the oil sector coming up. Plus, the state of real estate, we will look at a rise of listing in big cities, mornings with maria is live right now. European markets on the rise this morning. Take a look. Fq100 up 29, cac is up 12, dax index is lower by 23. A mixed story overnight in asia, the best performer was china, it reopened following the golden week holiday. Three days of holiday. Now the shanghai composite overnight was up 1 and two thirds percent. Examining the or ofly ins of the russia origins of the russia probe, John Ratcliffe sharing more than 1,000 pages of documents with u. S. Attorney john durham as the senate Homeland Security commission at this subpoenaed se fa stefan ha. I spoke with the president yesterday on this scandal. Heres what he said. What comes next, mr. President . We can have all of these documents. We can see exactly what happened. But unless john durham comes out with a report or indictments, unless bill barr comes out with some kind of a ruling here, do you think this is resonating on the American People . These people should be indicted. This was the greatest political crime in the history of our country. And that includes obama and it includes biden. These are people that spied on my campaign and we have everything. Maria joining me right now is california congressman, House Intelligence Committee ranking member, devin new nunes. Thank you for calling in. I heard what the president said. Congressman, i reported in the last two weeks that there will be no indictments before the election. There will be no report from john durham on this. You exposed it all back in 2018 and have been exposing it all for two years. Will the American People actually know the truth before the election . Whats your view on this . I mean, what else can be done to explain what took place here, which is an incredible takedown of a sitting president or an attempt. Well, good morning, maria. Thanks for having me. Look, all over the country there are millions of americans that want to know what happened, that have been following this from 2017. And i should say many of whom that ive met and talked to as i travel around or that call my office, that actually believed at one time that trump may have had something to do with russia and they followed this closely and now you have people within the Republican Party who are saying wait a second here, not only do we have a twotiered Justice System but this is something you would see in a third world country. And so, look, one of the challenges i think that durham has, the u. S. Attorney out of connecticut and the other u. S. Attorneys that are working on this, is that some of these documents that director ratcliffe just made to light, they were hidden not only from durham, but also from us. I think these documents only appeared in the last few months and these were major bombshells that have been buried by debate and the president coming down with covid, but the reality is that we now have the smoking guns of the fact that everybody within the obama orbit knew that clinton was running an operation and secondly, the cross dissfire hurricane team, the team that was doing the spying, doing the investigation into the Trump Campaign and the Republican Party, they also knew that there was a Hillary Clinton operation. So the only remaining issue thats out there that i dont have clarity on and that we need durham to get of to the bottom of is at what point did the fbi and department of justice back in 2016, possibly late 2015 begin working hand in glove with the Clinton Campaign and the Democratic National committee to run this investigation into the Trump Campaign. Thats really the only thing we dont have now. So, look, i still have a tremendous faith in the attorney general. I think attorney general barr has high level of character and ive never met john durham but everybody says that he is a high level character guy too. So i know as frustrating as it is for you, maria, for all of your viewers, you can imagine how you frustrating it would be for myself and all the republicans who have been lambasted over this and called every name under the sun, brought up under fake ethics investigation. Its really hard for us. But i think even harder for the president of the United States when there was an yo attempted p on his presidency. Maria yeah, i think you make a good point. When was it that the fbi decided to roll over and follow whatever hillary said to do look, heres one political candidate just trying to dig dirt up on her opponent, donald trump. So she hires a firm, she hires a law firm who hires fusion gps to get dirt on trump which they made up and when did actually the fbi say, yeah, were going to pursue this as if this is actually real . Do you think was in 2017 or do you think it was in 16 . No, it was well, the question is whether it was for sure in 2016. And it was for sure before the actual investigation was opened in late july in 2016. And thats another thats a whole other challenge here. Theres current officials and former Trump Officials who would not tell the Senior Leaders in congress when we asked back in 17 and 18, hey, what happened before you opened this investigation crossfire hurricane . And its like they lost their tongues. They couldnt talk. They couldnt blink. They couldnt do sign language. Now we know its clear that there are people serving today that refuse to tell us that. So i want even those people looked at for obstruction of justice in our investigation because clearly something was going on with the Senate Finally going to subpoena this cambridge operation that was running over in the u. K. That was getting hundreds of thousands of dollars from our department of defense. Thats now going to be finally were going to have one of those individuals subpoenaed that was involved in that investigation. So this is a so theres no question, just to kind of put an exclamation point here on your question. These guys were operating well before they opened this investigation in late july and they obstructed a congressional investigation, so i think they could have been involved as early as late 2015 with this operation, on the ground floor. Maria the question 15 or 16. We just spoke with steven shr of ogge the assistant of Stefan Halper. Stefan halper has been sand because theres all that activity before july of 2016 when halper and others were running into Campaign People in the Trump Campaign and then the administration. All we can do is keep following it. You did an incredible job, devin nunes, so thank you for that. I want to switch gears real quick on china because china and the communist party skean censoe Vice President ial debate. I want to make sure our audience understands this. Marco rubio weighed in noting it cut back to senator harris when she cited a poll saying oural a lieallies hold xi jinping in hir esteem than President Trump. So if you were watching the debate in china, it cut out everything that mike pence said and cut back when Kamala Harris was praising xi jinping. You did an investigation on china, focused on their military moves. They were setting up military bases around the world. What can you tell us about the Chinese Communist party and assess where they are today in terms of intellectual property theft and their efforts to overtake the United States as the number one super power. Well, i think what its telling its not a surprise the Chinese Communist party would want donald trump to lose. I think thats clear. And i would say secondly, that im not sure theres much difference between the propaganda arm that the Chinese Communist party has and the propaganda arm that the Democratic Party has in this country and thats the National Press corps, excluding just a few of you like yourself, maria, and your show. This is a major coverup and any normal world, if we had a real press, this would be one of the top stories works be why on earth would the Chinese Communist part party bleep out e current sitting Vice President during a debate. I should also say this, maria. I think this is obvious. But the Vice President , mike pence, single handedly destroyed the democrats nominee, harris, for Vice President. That was the worst debate performance or maybe the best debate performance in terms of pence. It was a total, total destruction. And for the media to cover up how badly the democratic Vice President ial nominee lost to mike pence is just a travesty and so its no different than what the chinese are doing to republicans. They dont want the Chinese People to see our government officials like the Vice President call out the Chinese Communist party. They dont want to let their citizens see it and thats why that happened. Maria yeah. Thats pretty extraordinary. And we have been of course treating this china story as one of our number one stories that ive been following now for years. Well keep doing it, congressman. Good to see you this morning. Thanks very much for calling in. Thank you, devin nunes. Have a great morning. Thank you very much. Maria much more ahead this morning on the russia investigation. Ill talk with georgia congressman doug collins for his take thats coming up at 7 30. Next hour, rnc chair Ronna Mcdaniel is here talking about President Trump hitting the campaign trail again and a his plans for a weekend rally, joining the conversation all morning long, Dagen Mcdowell and Mitch Roschelle. We have a lot to talk about. We have a rally underway on the stimulus talks. Well get back to the panel coming up. Youre watching mornings with maria live on fox business. Maria welcome back. Time for the word on wall street. Joining me right now is rose cliff founder managing partner, mike murphy, Rebecca Walser and Portfolio Manager jack mcintire. Great to see everybody this morning. Thank you for being here. First up you lets look at markets, up 111 on futures this morning after stocks finished if the green yesterday again. Stimulus hopes propelling markets with democratic and white house officials resuming negotiations. The sides are no closer to an agreement. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said there would be no aid solely for airlines unless its part of a broader agreement which includes all of the things in her package. Rebecca, lets start with you, your take on markets and stimulus, how important is a deal to get done to keep this market propelled . It is, maria. I think investors are saying it might not happen before the election but it will happen, thats why youre seeing a return to futures looking up. But honestly, these Airlines Just do not have the capacity to play these political games. I mean, im concerned about their cash burn. Tsa reported last month travelers are down 60 and so we know our airlines cannot withstand that level indefinitely this long. We have the 25 billion in march. Were looking for more money of because the airlines have a cash burn with fixed labor costs and infrastructure costs that are too insurmountable without this government stimulus when were not getting people back into the skies and so maria, if we dont get it, you can look for this sector to be very badly hit. Maria yeah. This is one of those industries that the country needs. So it is deemed essential and yet theres no urgency here on the part of speaker pelosi. Lets talk about deals because weve got a lot of them recently. Morgan stanley making big moves, yet acquiring eaton vance, announcing the acquisition for 7 billion, days after completing the deal to acquire etrade financial corp. This shows a shift, with money management, Wealth Management, steady fees, little capital to run on. Your reaction to what morgan is doing . What is morgan trying to become and do you think well see more deals in Financial Services . Good morning, maria. Absolutely well see more deals in Financial Services and in finance in general, in fin tech, in these large banks not only buying asset managers, like eaton vance here for of Morgan Stanley and before that etrade, but really were going to see more of the big banks buying broke, by coming into the private markets and buying High Growth Technology given Financial Companies like you see a company like robinhood that has a 13 billion valuation and the big banks in general since the financial crisis, maria, they havent really had any true growth. So now when you ask whats Morgan Stanley trying to do . Theyre trying to figure out how to get not only constant earnings stream, but really high growth. Morgan stanley is still trading way below where it was before the financial crisis. Citibank is nowhere near war it was. Jp morgan is trading down 30 from recent highs. So if youre looking to buy growth in this market, look at it, people are investing in the big tech companies. So the big banks now Morgan Stanley, goldman sachs, jp morgan, citibank, they need to buy growth. Thats what youre seeing with eaton vance. This is only the beginning. Theres a lot more acquisitions coming. Maria so you think the growth in Financial Services is in technology . Any other areas of growth that youre indicating, that youre predicting . Yeah. So, you know, you aside from straight tech, things that are changing our lives on a daily basis, Companies Like the next uber coming out, really fin tech is an area we focus on a lot because theres a lot of wealth in this country. Theres going to be a massive passage of wealth as baby boomers pass away and pass that money onto their heirs. Everybody wants to get a piece of that pie. Then you have the gen z, the Younger Generation that didnt trust the market so people are trying to figure out how do we get to the 20yearold people, get their money now as a bank would have back when you and i were in our 20s and how do they get the money now and continue to manage the money Going Forward so where is the growth going to be. Thats in the private sector. The banks are too large to get there. Theyre going to get there through acquisitions. Fin tech is a place to keep your eye on. Theres going to be a lot of companies coming. Maria im going to be watching that. Were on the doorstep of earnings season for the Third Quarter, Third Quarter reports come out beginning next week with the big banks like jp more morgan, goldman, bank of america. Theyre on track for a record year of revenue. Were looking at that part of the business. Jack, where will the growth be when we get earnings next week and what are you expecting largely from the earnings season . So i think the big banks have done well from a trading standpoint. Sometimes thats not repeatable. Weve had such a unique environment this year. I would struggle to extrapolate that Going Forward and earnings are going to come from that sector of the economy thats done well. More manufacturing, things related to housing, services are still going to struggle until we get resolution on the pandemic. Maria that makes a lot of sense. Yeah, of course. They need the foot traffic in order to see revenue moves. Great to see everybody this morning. Thanks very much for the word on wall street, mike, rebecca and jack. Coming up, biotech ipo comes to the nasdaq today, were going to check it out when we come right back. Maria welcome back. Kronos biogoes public today. The Biopharmaceutical Company will change on the nasdaq at 19 a share. They focus on developing novel cancer therapeutics. Joining us now is the ceo, the former Gilead Sciences chief scientific officer. Thank you for being here. Tell me about the company. Id love to get your take on where are we in the fight against cancer and what the most important innovations that youre seeing. Cot granulations on the i congratulations on the ipo. Give us a status check on all of that. Thank you maria. Thanks for having me. Its a great pleasure being here. We have made enormous progress over the last 10 years, 15 years, in treating cancer. Nevertheless, theres a lot left to be done. I want to remind you, its still the second largest cause of death in this country. We have 600,000 people dying of cancer. But were making progress. Im excited about this, thats what were doing. Were focusing on blood cancers at least as a first approach. Im very optimistic about both our industry and about what were doing in attacking cancer. Maria what have you learned . What have you learned about blood cancer so far that you can share with us in terms of indicating progress . I know that you are looking at a pipeline of treatment candidates for acute myleloid leukemia as well as solid tumors. Can you tell us what youve taken out of your work, what have you learned . Sm aml is a blood cancer. If left untreated people have a life exelife expectancy measuren weeks and months. There is a lot left to be done. What we are doing specifically at our company, were going after the protein that have long been known to cause aml. They have yo alluded therapeuti. Thats going to change. We have the people in place, the technology in place to really change that and hopefully make a big difference in patients lives. Maria and before you go, real quick on remdesivir over at gilead. You were the chief scientific officer at gilead. Id like to get your thoughts on covid19. Do you think its possible that we could get a vaccine by yearend . Well, i dont want to speculate on the timing, but you know what has happened with covid19 is nothing short of a miracle. I mean, the virus came to this country in earnest early march and now here we are eight months later, we have remdesivir approved. There are antibodies coming behind it and also the vaccine, were making incredible progress. So i do believe we will have a vaccine and a number of very effective treatments. Ive very optimistic. Maria we hope you are optimistic about cancer as well. Well be watching the developments. Thanks very much. Best of luck on your ipo, sir. Thank you, sir. Coming up, we are looking at the origins of the russia probe with georgia congressman doug collins joining me with the latest on the investigation, 25 days before election day. Well check in on the poll as well. Plus rnc chair Ronna Mcdaniel talks about President Trump back on the campaign trail possibly as soon as tomorrow. Stay with us. Set on you. The dow futures up 136 points right now, the nasdaq futures up 42, s p 500 up 16 and three quarters. Ending out the week with a gain after yesterdays strong performance, markets finished near the session highs, boosted by renewed talks between top lawmakers on stimulus. A coronavirus aid package. European indices higher across the board as well. Yesterday the dow industrials were up 122 points, nasdaq up 56 and in europe the momentum continues. Fq100 up 30, cac up 20 and dax index positive, up about 4 andahalf points. A mixed story overnight in asia, the best performer was china. It was up 1 and two thirds percent. The others really fractionally moving. Meanwhile, back at home, the gulf coast is bracing for impact as hurricane delta barrels towards louisiana. Cheryl casone with details there. Cheryl, good morning to you. Cheryl good morning, maria. That is right, hurricane delta now a category 3 storm is expected to make landfall this afternoon along the same louisiana coastline where hurricane laura hit just six weeks ago. Those in the impact zone are urged to get out now. The storm packing 120mileanhour winds. Wilsons name was stripped from the college after it was determined his, quote, racism makes him an inappropriate namesake. Those are your headlines. Over to you. Maria all right. Cheryl, thank you so much. The origins of the russia probe continue to get highlighted. Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe shared more than 1,000 pages of documents with u. S. Attorney john durham to aid in his probe of the russia investigation, what was the predicate, why did they start investigating trump in the first place. The senate Homeland Security committee subpoenaed cambridge professor stefan hel stefan halr records of his involvement. Heres what President Trump told me yesterday. What comes next, mr. President. We can have all of the documents and see what happened. Unless john durham comes out with a report or indictments, unless bill barr comes out with a ruling here, do you think this is resonating on the American People . These people should be indicted. This was the greatest political crime in the history of our country and that includes obama and it includes biden. These are people that spied on my campaign and we have everything. Maria joining me right now is georgia congressman, House Judiciary Committee member, doug collins. Congressman, its great to see you this morning. Thanks very much for being here. Good morning, maria. Good to see you. Maria i want to get to the confirmation hearings of Amy Coney Barrett in a moment but you just heard the president. Let me start on the russia probe. I reported two weeks ago that there will be no indictments, there will be no interim report from john durham before the election. So the American People will not be able to really understand fully if they dont already what took place in terms of creating a story to take down a sitting president. Your reaction to all that weve seen from these declassified documents . Well, two reactions. Number one is the reaction that you and i have been talking about for years, this is actually coming to fruition. For all those folks out there who said collins and jordan, all those guys were out there trying to the president was making things up, were not making things up. We knew what we were seeing, we knew the patterns that were developing and this is a huge story. The president is right. There needs to be indictments here, there needs to be people held accountable as we go forward here. Think about what just happened this week with those declassified documents where they talked about Hillary Clintons campaign infiltrating with brennan all the way to the white house, all the way to briefings to president obama. Where is the media with this . Good lord, maria. Youve been on this forever. Weve had a lot of discussions about this. Everybody else seems to ignore it. If they ignore it, it can happen to them. The American People need to understand what they did to President Trump and candidate trump and carter page and papadopoulos, they can do to anybody if theyre allowed to. Theyve got to be held accountable. Maria ill tell you, now that ive seen all of this in the last three andahalf years, congressman, ive lost trust. I now recognize that the party in power can weaponize the agencies and use them against their political enemies. I have to be honest. You know, we think its justice for all, liberty and freedom in america. Its not what weve seen, congressman. So its hard to really believe that. In reality, the party in you power is going to use the government investigative agencies to take down their political enemies, right . Well, i think what weve got to do is weve got to remember theres one group of folks that needs to be heard from. Thats the people. Thats why i keep talking about this. Thats why we keep talking about this. Because the people as they begin to understand it, as i go around the country and the state of georgia and i talk about this, people it begins to resonate with them. Theyre starting to see what you are. Theyre disheartened when they dont see people held accountable, when they dont see Hillary Clinton held accountable for her email stuff. When we see comey and his superman routine saying i didnt do anything wrong. No, they did do things wrong. We need to get to a place where the people are rising up and demand people in washington, d. C. Hold these people accountable. I encourage bill barr to continue this. This was an you attempt to take down a 2016 election. Why is it wrong to put out the truth as you find it before this election. People need to be head accountable. I believe if we keep telling the truth and you keep telling it loud enough, even the media who wants to ignore it because they have to admit their own bias and their own complicitness in this, they will have to admit it could happen to us as well. Maria as a reporter, you really dont want to take that information from Bad Information from people but you havent seen media people get upset that they were lied to and they took the country on this expedition, this crazy collusion expedition. Anyway, let me get to this week, this upcoming week. Youve got a big week ahead, the senate has a big week ahead, thats judge Amy Coney Barrett preparing for senate Judiciary Committee hearings, the hearings begin on monday. President trump is hoping to secure her confirmation before the election. Congressman, will the senate get the votes to move forward do you think before the election . Yes, i do believe they will. I think this is going to be an important step. Its the right step. We need to get that seat on the court filled. I think the president s done what he needs to do. I think the senate is moving forward and Lindsey Graham starting the hearings on monday. Its going to be an interesting time for the democrats. This is a qualified individual, a life history of not only of law but family and experience that she brings to the table at this position. Theyre going to have to decide are they willing to attack her faith like they did last time or willing to attack what she believes in, are they going to do this in the time of this election or are they going to understand this is a qualified jurist that needs to be put on the court and try to take out of the fact that they dislike the president so much theyre willing to tear down anyone that gets in their way. Its going to be a coming moment for the coming up in the next week for the democrats to decide what are they going to do with the nomination. I believe its a great nomination and i believe it should and will be confirmed before election. Maria thats great. Let me bring in Dagen Mcdowell. Dagen, you and i lived through the last confirmation hearings for the Supreme Court. It was a circus around brett kavanaugh, dagen. Dagen men just need to shut up and do the right thing . Remember that. That was good. Dagen thats not a compliment. Thank you, congressman. But i want to raise something that mazie horuno the senator and others, they tipped their hat sotospeak when they threatened to pack the court, a veiled threat, when scotus was going to take up a Second Amendment case related to gun laws in new york city. They made that threat. So we know what the democrats want to do. And i wanted to get your reaction to Vice President joe biden yesterday on the campaign trail saying youll know my position on Court Packing the day after the election. Hes literally which i dont think anyone has ever seen in politics saying youll find out what i think on this critical issue after you vote for me and i win. What do you say to that . Number one, we know his position. He is going to pack the court. Thats what hes saying. He doesnt want the American People to know it. Thats untenable for a person who wants to be president to hide from the American People. Same o shameshame on you, joe b. You know what your position is. Tell it to the American People. Maria the answers giving reporters, im not going to answer that. Because if i answer that its going to be the headline of your story. Theyre saying oh, okay and thats it. Dagen ill add something to it. Maria go ahead, dagen. Dagen i dont think that the voters fully understand the term Court Packing, what that really means. That they will add the democrats get rid of the filibuster, at two justices, four, six. The sky is really the limit. And essentially trample on the constitution. As steve forbes said, subvert the constitution. You diminish the power and capacity of one of the three branches of government by doing that. Lets put it very simple for the American People. What joe biden and Kamala Harris want to do is overturn the will of the people in the last election so they can get what they want instead of what the American People want. Lets make it very simple. Maria thats right. And they want to do the same thing in the senate, congressman, right . Because they want to turn d. C. And puerto rico into states so they can get two more senators in each. Weve seen it come up. Look at the plan that came out of the house yesterday, the progressive plan that they want to socialize everything and become a government run state. That was a socialist plan put forward yesterday theyll use to push biden if he gets elected. Thats why donald trump has to be reelected. The progressives want to take us down a socialist path. They dont make any qualms about it. People need to Pay Attention to whats actually happening. Maria actually, you make such a good point. I was just reading this earlier. Progressives unveil their 2021 ajen da to pressure joe biden. To make sure that their agenda is in place as part of his agenda or it replaces his agenda. Its amazing. Joe biden and them are so desperately trying to portray a moderate picture to america that hes a moderate person that is going to be endowed to all. The issue is were going to push him where we want him to go. Maria really well said, congressman. Good to see you this morning. Thanks very much. Well be covering this, congressman doug collins, coming up, a Major College football rivalry set to dominate the airways tomorrow. Our lead College Football analyst will join us next. Well get into it. Youre watching mornings with maria live on fox business. Call me any, any time. Call me maria welcome back. College football set to dominate the air waves tomorrow, the red river showdown pitting texas and oklahoma for the 116th time. The game will be broadcast on fox tomorrow at noon. Joining me now is fox sports lead College Football analyst, joe klatt. Looking forward to this big game. Tell us about what this historic game will look like in this unique environment, what it means for College Football. Well, first of all, i think you hit the nail on the head there. It is the most unique game in College Football. So it takes place in a neutral site, in the old cotton bowl in dallas, texas. Normally, the state fair is going on around the cotton bowl and theres hundreds of thousands of people around the stadium, 93,000 people in the stadium and it is electric beyond your imagination. But this years going to look a little different like everything is in our country. So the state fair is not going on and there are only going to be about 25 capacity in the stadium but it should be noted that each coach when i talked to them so far this week, tom herman and lincoln ry riley, thy have said this is beyond a doubt the most special game they can possibly be a part of and these two teams desperately need a win and its sure to be an exciting game tomorrow at a noon. Maria yeah, i mean, just the fact that theyre playing and having the game in the middle of this shutdown is in and of itself extraordinary. Michigan coach jim harbaugh famously called for the big 10 to be freed a few weeks back. He got his wish you along with the pac 12. Let me bring Mitch Roschelle in, hes a big College Football fan. Mitch, go ahead. Mitch and i am a self admitting wolverine fan. Im curious, joel, what do you think the big 10s going to be like this year in an you abbrevd season. Its so interesting, mitch and maria, that the big 10 and pac 12 was going to be the leaders in College Football and everyone would follow suit when they postponed their season. The other conferences didnt follow. They didnt budge. They didnt fold. They listened to their medical advisory committees and they just kept putting one foot in front of the other of. Now weve got College Football. It was so interesting to me that those two conferences followed suit and they came back and got in line an started play and will play this fall which i think is absolutely the right decision. The unintended consequences of not playing, in particular for the health and wellbeing of the student athlete, Mental Health of the student athlete, i think is much better in the sport, within the protocols and procedures of the sport, than outside of it just being shuttered down. That being said, this abbreviated season for the big 10 is going to be so unique and really important for the conference. In particular, for a team like michigan. You know, who hasnt beat ohio state in several number of years and youre a huge wolverine fan, youre going to know thats a game that jim harbaugh and the wolverines are circling. That game will take place on december 12th. Gus and i will be calling that game. Maria joel, its great to see you. Were excited. Apartment availability at a peak in big cities, more and more tenants are moving out and seeking bigger spaces, Kristina Partsinevolos is in midtown manhattan this morning with more. Good morning to you. Reporter good morning, maria. The hottest pandemic purchase isnt a peloton, its a house in the suburbs. As people flee metropolitan cities, that means the supply of vacant apartments as well as condos for sale and rent are skyrocketing to levels weve never seen before. According to a new report, the supply of vacant apartments, these are apartments for rent in manhattan in september was 200 increase versus last year at this time. Were also talking about the vacancy rate, its hovering just below 6 . In a typical year in new york city its 2 to 3 . So its tripled. Thats as people flee the city to the suburbs like westchester county. Were seeing home prices soar to record levels. And that means landlords here in new york city are offering a slew of concessions to get people to sign leases. People are getting more than one month free rent, no fee apartment on the market, certain landlords are giving other concessions like free cable for a month or two. Concessions are up, inventorys up. Its an uncertain time. Reporter theres no doubt new york city has a higher crime rate right now, population decline, higher unemployment. Its a matter of time if the low prices will lure people back to the largest rental market in the country. Back to you. Maria all right. Thanks so much. We will keep watching that. The president told me he may hold a rally in florida on saturday if he gets the allclear from doctors, expected to take another covid19 test later today, the commission on president ial debates not backing down for plans to change next president ial debate to vich debate yesterday on program right here president told me, the decision is laughable. Skipping the next president ial debate as we mention earlier, President Trump, told me he will not debate joe biden in virtual sense this thursday biden will conduct town haul with abc news, joining me republican National Committee chairman Ronna Mcdaniel good to see you. Thanks very much for joining us do you think the president is is letting joe biden off the hook, by saying wont participate in a virtual debate ronna . Because, joe biden still out there, going to be doing a town hall the president wont be. The president will be out there also, i imagine the president will be on the campaign trail as soon as he gets cleared from his doctor, but, you know, maria this commission on president ial debates really is a debacle, i said yesterday, i hope no future nominee of our party works with this commission, it has shown itself not to be nonpartisan the fact that they didnt have debates before voting started was request from campaign reasonable would have been good for voters now unilaterally changed format at debate without talking to candidates without following the signs, is aring depriving voters from seeing the two candidates i think commission should be called out, and joe biden, of course, has d. C. Wired, what 4 years in washington gets you the commission on president ial debates weighing in in your favor. Would you that is unbelievable ronna, yesterday, i had interview with President Trump, and right before we went to the president live got news, from the commission on president ial debates he said he heard news, the same time that i heard the news have you ever seen that before commission on president ial december do you want consult with sitting administration, that they are going to change the debate . Form, entirely . It is a d. C. Hack committee, and there are not republicans on this committee, these are people who are wired they love joe biden, and they are hurting the American Public and hurting our democracy if i had my way rnc, dn. C would hash out get rid of this commission altogether i dont think they should be involved anymore theyve shown nems to being disqualifying a fact joe biden continuing to call in not available to the press now fake town hall with George Stephanopoulos not answer questions like are you going to fundly upend third branch of government change democracy structure of government by stacking the Supreme Court is he egregious the allowing them to get away with it commission allowing them to get away with it i hope American People recognize the democrats are running on biggest power grab in restructuring of our government than weve seen in entire lifetime. Well, i mean, the other thing that really struck me, was that the debate moderator that was expected, next weeks debate was actually a one point intern for joe biden. Yeah now he is, Dming Scaramucci on twitter fai, this is a joke. And you know we deserve to be able to vet two candidates we deserve to know, that we are fair moderators, that these candidates are getting tough questions and joe biden, continually given a free pass by washington elite i will tell you america is watching, American Voters there is a reason they dont trust washington this candidates,47 year bureaucrat joe biden has everybody aired in washington a proving again, the average american will not have a voice, if he gets elected, that is all donald trump is about. Being a voice for average american to have a washington voice. Maria yeah Dagen Mcdowell jump in here. Dagen i was talking, ronna, with lee carter yesterday, and she was saying, the upside of the downside of not debating joe biden even in a virtual setting. And with undecideds what 6 voters undecided probably more, they do need to hear the president lay out his policy plans and visions for the future of america, right next to joe biden. So she saw this as a missed opportunity, some ways to pull those undecided voters over, so close to the election. Campaign has offered alternative dates saying lets push it back two in in person debates science is not there dagen what is so odd about this is, even based on cdc the president wont be shedding live viruss by next friday why canceling a live inperson debate so bad for our country i think the president is right to say i am not going along with this bureaucracy, commission, make changes, on the fly we need to see policy Vice President was very clear with Kamala Harris going to raise taxes you are going to kill Energy Independence stack Supreme Court, the most issue liberal senator more liberal than bernie sanders, it was really helpful to see the policy differences between two candidates on debate stage this commission is are depriving us from that should be getting, you know, attacked by immediate i think for what they are doing interferings in our elections they are not joe biden son issues well difficultied hunter biden accepteded 3 1 2 Million Dollars from former wife of former mayor of moscow what is that about no pushing on that at all 1 2 billion dollars from china, casting doubt on vaccine during that Vice President ial debate as well senator Kamala Harris said she wont take a vaccine touted by President Trump ronna you suffered through virus as well who you are you going how will this effectuate peoples willingness to try vaccine. I think Vice President was right to say what Kamala Harris is doing is dangerous for American Public undermine science the efforts being made by scientists the community to get a vaccine quickly and, of course, steps not skipped she is undermining Public Confidence in that incredibly dangerous. I am doing well, i will say what this administration has done, less than a year with he novel virus never seen before hitting our shores with therapeutics vaccines ppe, ventilators icu beds freed up it is nothing short of remarkable. But, again, you are right. There is a approach on candidate for President Joe Biden does not is not asked tough questions about son, policies for me Supreme Court a huge issue he will not wlans he will fundamentally upended third branch of government i think every american deserves to know that before they go home. And other things as well, that he just size i am not going to answer because it is in headlines, crazy quick ronna 25 days out how are you feeling about this election in terms of the fundraising that you are seeing, how is it going . I mean the president is clearly trailing in polls ronna. Have yeah, it is tight i feel very good about ground game we are knocking over a million doors a week, getoutthevote efforts are the best theyve ever been not seeing that on the ground for biden starting to see ramping that up the energy is very strong, are but this is a tight election a media that is refusing to vet the other side we have a candidate hiding from tough issues going to take all of us getting out really pushing hard to get answers, joe biden is going to raise taxes will destroy this economy, will fundamentally transform United States of america that we know the most radical candidates in the history of our country. Good to have you this morning thanks very much we will watch Ronna Mcdaniel this morning, former Foreign Policy adviser to donald trump carter page here to ask is bombshell information out of russia investigation what this means for his case, of course, he is the one amongst those targeted for surveillance, plus future of transportation we are taking a look at one of the most anticipated futuristic projects a huge win for West Virginia dont miss that joining the conversation all morning positiving this morning Dagen Mcdowell Mitch Roschelle you are watching mornings with maria live on fox business. Attorney durham before his into origin russia investigation into donald trump the committee subpoenaed cambridge professor Stefan Halper over records of involvement in the probe into donald trump listen to what president told me yesterday about this scandal. What comes next mr. President we can have all documents we can see exactly happened, but unless john durham comes out, with a report, or indictments unless bill bar comes out with some kind of a ruling here, do you think this is is resonating on the American People . Unless bill barr indicts these people for crimes, the greatest political crime in the history of our country, then we are going to get little satisfaction unless i win and we will just have to go because i wont forget it these people should be indicted this was greatest political crime in the history of our country includes obama includes biden. Maria joining me right now former Foreign Policy adviser to donald trump author of the book abuse and power how innocent american was framed in attempted coup against president by carter page, great to have you thank you so much for being here. Great to be with you, maria. You went through so much, as you were surveilled a year no charges ever brought against you, but you were a window, into the man they wanted to take down down that was donald trump. You know in looking at some of the notes, that you prepared for our interview i was struck with what you said about the subpoena of Stefan Halper you said most amazing thing number on top, tell us about that carter. I was shocked when i saw that that subpoena congratulations, to chairman grassley, and chairman johnson in terms of actually subpoenas these people number on top was 00005 that came out october of election year, my subpoena i actually got two subpoenas from mueller, in like number 1501, 1502, i mean they did literally thousands of subpoenas. And, unfortunately, there has been very little investigation into the other side we know this was a complete hoax and they severe Election Interference Campaign against Trump Supporters such as myself, but, unfortunately, there has been no accountability, along the lines of what you were alluding to. Maria so are you saying that this is only the fifth subpoena in all of this only five subpoenas and during the Mueller Investigation, they had 2800 subpoenas. What is wrong with republicans that they cannot that they cannot communicate what took place here . Why arent they subpoenaing more evidence . Well congratulations to chairman johnson, and, actually, moving forward, to some extent with this. But, unfortunately, Senate Judiciary has done very little it was great to watch congressman collins on i am hoping he is soon added to senate with his victory next month but, unfortunately, just a couple days ago, and drew mccabe one of the people signed fraudulent fisa warrant, he just decided going to cancel, i i dont think he was subpoenaed at all so, issue why is he not been subpoenaed . And unfortunately, you also have the fbi i mean your report about you know the michigan governor, and you know the steps they are saying in terms of potential terror threats et cetera, the fbi, Christopher Wray has done nothing in terms of all the terror threats committed against or threatened against myself. Countless times. And i begged fbi for help. I know i was really hitting on that hard so one thing i would actually disagree with the president s interview with you yesterday is he was he was very positive about the report from Inspector General horowitz, i can tell you, maria, there were so many, many inbeing a ras indices the story is so much worse than 17 errors omissions other things he found great start but we have so much more to get to the bottom of. So what do you want the American People to know that is most important here carter . What do you think that they need to see, or understand better that hasnt been out there yet . Sur surveilled wiretapping calls oe. Mails to get a window into donald trump as i said no charges ever made against you they wants to surveil you because you are a supporter of trump they wanted to see what they could learn what else is not known we need to understand better carter, quick. Breaking news with the president ial debate and election interference by operatives in washington, unfortunate during two debateslast president ial election they were pushing you false russia story with fisa abuse, and as well as the yahoo defamatory article when started this whole thing. In regards to covid19 senator marco rubio weighed in on twitter noting it cut back to senator harris when she cited a pew poll said our allies hold xi jinping in higher esteem than President Trump, i go indepth on issue the threat u. Dagen no but raises issue what dont we see this got caught what is china doing behind scenes not just now, but for years, in terms of stealing our most valuable assets intellectual property then also, hiding from the world or trying to, the abuse and comrizment of uighur muslims. I dont know where they got that allies hold xi jinping higher than United States i dont think that is true they hold him higher esteem than donald trump i think most countries at this point on to fact chinas Growth Strategy has been all about theft theft of intellectual property as dagen said. I think that the trade challenges that we have in our country with china not unique to us, and fairness in trade and dumping things we have been bringing up for years, theft of property bringing up the rest of the world coming to realize that it is hitting them and their economies. Maria cheryl, thank you so much, we are now moving on to the future of transportation, version hyperloop selecting West Virginia as site for 500milliondollar certification center, and testing track for newest high speed travel technology, features owing pods carry passengers more than 600 miles an hour joining me former cisco ceo John Chambers, former nta chairman jay walter great to see you both thank you so much for being here. Love to have you both, john . Yeah. See the you John Chambers has been a while congratulations on venture kick us off. Well, i think it is future of transportation. And you can work in West Virginia live in West Virginia work in d. C. , or new york, or in chicago. It will, in my opinion, be very similar to what the railroad as much as interstate in terms of how it changes business but it brings 13,000 jobs, directly indirectly to West Virginia watch the state respond from education point of view speaks to start up state in partner great parn Richard Branson hyperloop. Expected to bring thousands to West Virginia state faced economic decline from downturn in coal industry, why did you choose West Virginia 17 states competing for this this is going to be a catalyst certain something that West Virginia needs right now, what kind of opportunities will workers have at the test center and what was trump to you about West Virginia. Well i have to tell you, maria, as a kid from new york, i learned a lot about West Virginia past few months, they put together an incredible partnership with governor, his amazing team right here, in the state, with the congressional delegation that is led by senators manchin with the university i am sitting today in Morgantown University could not be more supportive what we are doing partnership there Business Community John Chambers with us today, is a sign of that, i think the concept this idea of bringing together, public and private sector to be able to do this, i think, really excited them and really excited us, and in being able to do it. Lets think about what were talking about here we are really saying that this we have the opportunity, to be able to turn an abandoned mine into the birthplace of the most sustainable form of transportation that the world has ever seen. That is amazing. That is innovation what we want. It is it is going from you know, coal mining, you know, in have some cases, some might say the way we used to do things, to really the most innovative ways we are doing things in and all happening in West Virginia what kind of jobs do you expect to be created is there a special training will be needed or special no how in order to get one of those jobs . Well, we will be creating, thousands of jobs, and they will range, first creating, construction jobs, for the construction of fatallies engineering manufacturing jobs, that are here as well the broad range of jobs. Literally, yesterday evening i sat with the president of West Virginia university, talking about creating tracks within the university so people can move seamlessly from education o into what were doing here right now, so this starts from this moment right here, we have the opportunity to be able to do something in almost an unprecedented way. Have maria if you think about this o go ahead. Okay. If you think about it West Virginia was the leader, in the world in coal Mining Industry also in Chemical Industry because we didnt reinvent we got left behind my parents trained me equaler in live generation and internet the he equalizer for future education internet innovation, and it isnt just about bringing jobs back to america, distributing throughout the country it is about o innovation new jobs for the future, and our country leadership, so as jaying articulated very well vision of future affecting all citizens of our state but our country it is innovation u. S. Versus country like china so important here i saw state come together jay worded it very well two great senators level, university and People United mofr seen that type of focus speaks to West Virginia becoming a startup state from education to Venture Capital the ability to dream like we used to dream when i was growing up. Maria we need more of that for sure quick jay your timeline when does work begin when what is your reiteration term of how long this will take to build . The well we announced yesterday work begins this morning, i am working away, but we have look we will be doing the preparation work with the developer, starting next year, i think we will see shovels in the ground in have 2022. Will the this is on its way, i think we will move at hyperloop speed to get this done to be able to show the world what we can do, and as john said look this is not just about West Virginia this is a vision for the United States of america. It is a vision for the world, it is the way in which we can reestablish the leadership in transportation in our country, we have that opportunity, in front of us right now we have to move quick, no question about that but we will. Maria really great stuff John Chambers jay thanks very much for announcing this joining us to talk through it we appreciate it we will be watching for sure we will break when we come backbreaking down the market, and unprecedented year for stocks, market and where he Sees Opportunities Going Forward dont miss it back in a minute. To irregardless caribbe Royal Caribbean. Have leave us he alone i get along maria dominate chip market this morning weve got news that microdevices looking to azylinku. S could reportedly be closed as early as next week, joining me right now somebody who bullish on amd Portfolio Manager is a tori fund, dan niles thank you for being here. So dan i want to get into your investment philosophy find out what you like what you dont like in this market, but first let me get your take, on this potential deal. You have been bullish on companies in this sector where do you see opportunity what do you think about amd amd zylinx. We have done a fabulous job since took it over, i think that the value here is, obviously, zyu. Linx in fpga market different type of product add to numbers semiconductor devise Like Data Center both have, exposure will complement the chips amd has on microprocessor the graphics said to has done great job leading the company should be good for two of them will if they end up combining Going Forward. Dan you have done so well with the satori fund take is through how you look at market within that context three buckets of stocks that you like, can you go through it tell me your phases of this market how you are allocating capital day. Sure, i mean when you look at the market the biggest in history from alltime record high down 20 , then also had the fastest recovery, to new record highs from being down over 20 , 126 trading days you are at third phase of the market critical juncture, because now you are at a phase where youve got three big events between now and yearend first one obviously, how much more stimulus do we get because of big reason the market hit alltime record highs in 126 days, was because you have so much stimulus put into the market roughly 30 gdp combine with what fed did with federal government, so we are going to get some probably targeted stimulus before elections even bigger package after elections regardless who wins second piece what happens with covid as you get into colder weather, just like flu season going to start to rampup Covid Infection rates rampup probably not good waiting for vaccine looks hopeful we will get one before the end of the year, so we will have to see how those two things play out because obviously, there is some talk about certain areas of the globe shutting down again to sort of deal with resurgence in the virus last piece election each side has areas they are focused on depending who wins certain segments benefit construction one area that i think regardless who wins a big pickup in spending, obviously, change in administration, Green Energy Companies benefit so weve got exposure there, obviously, if Current Administration stays in charge will be better for the big tech companies, because they are less likely to want to bust them up Going Forward tax rates lower will be a positive for the market as well, so, i think right now youve got a lot of things that can swing the market either direction we tried to position to benefit regardless of what happens, Going Forward. Maria yeah. Youve within that context you put three buckets of stocks, names you in a liked before, during and after the pandemic, go through some of those, i know ecommerce is one theme that has created lots of opportunity for you. Have yeah, i think the biggest one that we like, regardless of how the rest of this year plays out is gaming, because obviously, if virus is up again stuck at home unfortunately longer video game spots have really gained a lot of time term of how much time people spend on it microsoft spent 7 1 2 billions to buy a course earlier this year 3 billion gamers on this planet jaying 200 billion dollars revenue a new consul from the microsoft sony before the end of this year the first new consul in seven years should be a lot of pentup demand for that, as i mentioned ecomerce obviously, amazon, seeing demand, you know, over the next two to three years into next two to three months should continue to benefit 5g new technology coming out, so we like qualcomm, to provide the chips for that, erickson the provide infrastructure for that, then momentum augmented reality chips for 5g phenomenons that will be great automotive under radar not really appreciated a lot of those are still down underperformed, xp our biggest position and they have close to 40 revenues from automotive automotive complan from down 48 , yearoveryear in april, to the month of september, looks like down 5 United States, in terms of data coming out that is dramatically approved so those are so he will of the names we are looking at right now.
