Is the second week of gains for the dow and a third for the s p. Nasdac fighting for gains for the week as you can see higher right now for the week, eight points and the dow and the s p certainly hanging on as well. Well speak to steve forbes but we want to give with Edward Lawrence from washington with all the latest from the president. Edward . Reporter yeah, the president right now just landed in new york city. He is on his way to a hospital over in new york city. Hes going to see his brother whose said to be very very ill. We do have live pictures from outside the hospital waiting to see when the motorcade does come up in front of that hospital there. The president or Senior Administration official saying the president has a very special relationship with his brother there, you see the live pictures of them waiting on the president who literally is en route to the hospital. Later tonight the president will speak to the new York City PoliceBenevelent Association before leaving for new York New Jersey area, the president upped the pressure on House Speaker nancy pelosi. Listen. President trump ive directed the secretary of the treasury to get ready and send direct payments, 3,400 for a family of four to all americans. Democrats are holding this up. Reporter he backed all of that up in a series of tweets. The president in addition to sending another round of checks talking about he wants to give money to Small Businesses through the Payroll Protection Program and also money to states to save jobs for police, firefighters, First Responders and teachers adding democrats are holding all of this up. Now the president admitted that he would agree to more money if democrats agree to the rest of what republicans want. Here is the exchange. Would you be willing to accept the 25 billion for the Postal Service including the 3. 5 billion . President trump its not what i want. Its what the American People want. Reporter and the president says that he has secured 550 million needles and syringes to wait for those vaccines when the vaccine comes, he wants to have america ready to get fully vaccinated back to you guys. Edward lawrence thank you very much and here now steve forbes, forbes media chairman, steve its great to have you on the show. Your initial reaction to the fact that we now have the senate and house off to recess and nancy pelosi is looking at 2 trillion. I mean the numbers are still very very far apart between the president and the democrats. Where do you see this going, if anywhere in the next month . I think they will come to an agreement but i think the democrats are still reeling from the fact that President Trump turned the tables on them by doing those executive orders a week or so ago, and the moneys now going to be going out, more could go out if they come to an agreement but it looks like the democrats are the obstacle instead of the republicans and its not so much the numbers. You have numbers of that size you can conjure them up every six ways to sunday. The key thing is what is actually in the bill, like the postal thing, the republican s stuck in 1. 3 billion for a new building for the fbi, and so its going to be filled with stuff like that but the key thing is to get that payroll tax if they can put that as part of the bill, that be good instead of just by executive order, getting those checks out people would love that, theres going to be a real squeeze in Early September that 3,400 for a family of four be very good, so but politically i think the democrats are trying to figure out how they respond, because trump has them on the defensive and i think people are beginning to recognize, cheryl, that their real problems with mailin voting. Its not like absentee voting and the postal verse has real problems, so in new york in one district, 13,000 mailin ballots were disputed. Not postmarked properly, blah blah blah. 13,000, and one congressional district, primary. Yeah and the president talked about that repeatedly but on the other side is americans in general with a fragile economy, its a pandemic, no ones fault but at the same time, these payments even though the president directed Steven Mnuchin to start the process of cutting the checks, thats going to take time, and then also, the executive order you mentioned that for the president that extra 300 in unemployment benefits, thats going to take time because the states are the ones that have to distribute those. All of this is time and im wondering with washington on holiday now, if the American Public has time. Im not so sure that people do have time. I think they are hanging on by a thread right now, steve. Well a lot of people when they got the first stimulus checks saved the money, so they have a lot of cash but they also have a lot of unpaid bills and i think they want to know, is this going to be finally resolved so i think people will, most people will find a way to hang on, and when that 3,400 comes in and the economy really starts to rev up, i think youll see a very different mood, but right now the president is going full bore ahead on the payroll tax suspension, so when the next couple of paychecks youre going to get a nice raise there, 78 and thats meaningful for a lot of people, so things are in train, as they say, and thats the key thing. People know relief is on the way , and the president can do it, a lot of it by executive order and i think that just puts pressure on the democrats to get their act together and they will feel the pressure in the next week or two as they hear from constituents, get this thing going. Cheryl because they are home to the point of this discussion at the same time i want to switch gears and talk about this potential vaccine. The president today talked about , you know, where he wants the vaccine to go when it comes through. The elderly and most vulnerable. Theres this deal now between the trump adminitration and mcke sson on Vaccine Distribution which a lot of people dont realize its not just getting a vaccine approved the distribution component is crucial to get it out as quickly as possible but if we have a two or threemonth lag in a vaccine , you know these drugmakers. You know j j and pfizer theyre all working on something how long do you think its going to be before we can actually get a meaningful vaccine to americans because that solves the issue here, right . The vaccine . The vaccine is the ultimate solution and thankfully theres more than one in the works, there are at least a dozen going in trials now, and several of those will probably work and several of the companies have already, at their own risk and also with help from the government, already setting up facilities to produce these vaccines. Normally you get approval and then you put the facility into produce those vaccines. Now, theyre doing in many cases simultaneously. Bill gates was a leader on that with the Vaccine Research that hes been backing. So i think youre going to see far faster turnaround and again people if they know their true vaccine is coming, whether you get it in week one or week five, its nice to know that this thing is going to be licked truly once and for all like polio was in the mid 1950s when those vaccines came along huge sigh of relief youll see the same thing here. Cheryl steve forbes always great to have you, sir. Good to be with you cheryl thank you. Cheryl connell over to you connell well lets get to joe biden and Kamala Harris now, cheryl as they push their campaign forward. The runningmates remain in delaware signing documents certifying their nominations ahead of the Democratic National convention to be held virtually next week. Foxs Jacqui Heinrich is in wilmington with the details for us, jackie . Reporter hey there, connell. Yeah it was a brief event there was no reporter q a afterwards but reporters did try to get questions in and only harris answered. Make this official. Were going to be signing our request to get on the ballot. Were starting out by signing delaware. Reporter [inaudible] im signing this because im in this race to win, and with that guy right there, and were going to get it done. Reporter well the larger event is tonight, another virtual fundraiser and the two days after announcing harris as vp, the Biden Campaign brought in 50 million, 48 million in the first 48 hours , a staggering sum really when you remember harris brought in 40 million for her entire president ial campaign, and biden raised just over 60 million in all of 2019. The hall comes as a fox news poll shows biden leading President Trump by seven points with a large majority of voters concerned about the spread of coronavirus and President Trump under performing with some key groups to his 2016 win, including seniors. The Biden Campaign is specifically targeting Seniors Today a new battleground state adds detailing how the Biden Harris Administration would get the virus under control through testing, manufacturing, more gear in the u. S. , and calling for mask mandates. Now yesterday biden called on governors to enact a nationwide mask mandate to be worn for the next three months he said it would save lives but President Trump said such an ask would really infringe on states rights and also, doesnt account for disparities in how the virus is affecting some communities in some states more than others. Connell . Connell all right Jacqui Heinrich live for us in wilmington, delaware. Cheryl . Cheryl zero cases on campus, what college opened its doors to students and kept the school covidfree coming up next. Plus your neighbors vote new insight on the 2020 race and my voters say the person next door, who are they rooting for and are they right . Were going to talk about that. Get 0 apr financing for up to five years on select models and exclusive lease offers. Connell lets get to this college now that has so far reported zero covid19 cases. It is Stark State Community College in ohio thats partially been open for the last three months, and remains something of an outlier compared to other College Campuses some of which have started to disclose high positive rates of the virus, so we wanted to talk about this and marissa joins us on the phone right now, shes Stark State CollegeVice President of advancement of Human Resources and partnerships and as we start our conversation, marissa i just want to flash up on the screen the protocols for Summer School that you guys put in place, prioritizing handson classes, in other words, you had to be in the class inperson if it could be done online it be done online you staggered your time, roped off the common areas for social distancing, classroom sanitized after each use so expand on that if you would and tell us what youve learned this summer. Well thank you, first of all for having me. We really have learned that we cant be everything to everyone inperson so we have not brought a large amount of students back on campus. As you said weve really focused on those classes that required the handson learning for the students to continue down their academic pathway, and to progress. Weve made sure that every student even prior to the state mandate was wearing a facial covering as well as any faculty staff member or visitor to our location. Weve done the symptom signs, weve limited entrances, weve really ensured that theres social distancing guidelines, weve added plexiglass in certain areas, weve roped off seating. We have gone above and beyond to be as cautious as we can and allow these students who need to be inperson in order to progress to be in person but we have not brought back every student in every class. We still are heavily relying on our highquality Online Learning which has won National Awards so we know our students are still able to continue and progress where they can online. Connell so many colleges, universities whether theyre two or four year whatever they may be, are trying different approaches in the fall, some are having students back on campus, living on campus basically just the way they used to do it but youre basically saying, the lesson is you cant or at least in your view, go back to the old days its just not safe that way that the reason you were able to keep it safe is because you didnt do that, right . Absolutely and were not a residential campus so we do not have to deal with dorms and some of those other issues but we really believe that keeping those classes that can be online , online is key. Were going to be back this fall with some students who will be in person, probably about a third and then the rest of our students will either be entirely online, or in a partial hybrid format, so really, just trying to limit our exposure. Were traying to take a measured approach. We want our fact faculty, staff, and students to feel safe and know were following all the governors restart ohio guidelines and then some, but we realize were not immune so were poised, were ready, we have protocols in place, should something happen, but we really are trying to make sure that we offer the safest environment for quality learning, so that students who for example, are in those healthcare fields where theres obviously needs for them to graduate and get out into the workforce and help with the situation are able to progress and get to that finish line so they can be contributing and helping take care of those who are going through this pandemic right now. Connell that makes a lot of sense, whether theyre still nurses or lab techs whatever the case may be they are in such need to get out there and as you say to actually work, im curious about how youre going to handle the next few months if you continue to have success because i think thats one of the things that not only educational institutions are running into but businesses in general. If they find a formula that works it seems like they are reluctant to change it. They dont want to bring people back because they feel like theyve been successful by not bringing them back so how will you scale up over the next few months or will you . So let me say this. We have a Response Team that meets weekly. Obviously the protocols changed on a regular basis so were constantly evaluating what were doing, reevaluating those steps and making sure that were following the current protocols, but really, i think were going to probably stay the course through the fall and keep our students on their learning pathways, try to get to completion and continue to monitor. Right now we are rotating in our fact faculty and staff, not having everybody here all at once, functioning a lot by zoom meeting instead of inperson. Were trying to do everything we can to limit the potential exposures that could occur while still continuing our very important teaching and learning mission that so many people in our community rely on. We believe that were here to serve our students and were going to do so safely and continue as i said to stay the course and do what we can to keep a safe environment. Connell all right thanks for coming on. Hopefully sharing the perspective help, everybody is having different types of conversations whether they be residential colleges, ones like yours that are not, that are community colleges, but youve had success, so we hope that continues, marissa rohn, stark state out in ohio. Cheryl . Cheryl well backtoschool shopping is suffering, local businesses are getting hit by minimal retail sales, amid high uncertainty of the Upcoming School year, lets send it over to Grady Trimble live in bridge view, illinois with all of the details. Reporter cheryl, the National Retail federation says that backtoschool shopper s will actually spend more money this year than they ever have. The difference is theyre spending that money on Different ThingsLike Computers and Electronic Accessories that they didnt need to in the past, and theyre not buying as much of pencils and binders and the traditional things like unfortunately for school here in bridgeview, School Uniforms so take a look at these numbers from the National Retail federation. They say 85 of backtoschool shoppers at least back in july still had more shopping to do, and one of the reasons people might be procrastinating so much is because nearly half of backtoschool shoppers, they just dont know what to get right now, because things are so uncertain. The way people shop is also changing. Things are going more on line, instead of brickandmortar, fewer people going to stores Like Department stores, discount stores, and Office Supply stores , and here at school bells they do provide uniforms for a lot of the private schools and Catholic Schools going backtoschool in illinois, but their sales are still down about 50 and the owner says theyre having to look at changing their Business Model as well and shift ing to online. I think covid is going to force our business and many other businesses to reevaluate your Business Model. Theres some things that are going to change that we may never go back to again, and were prepared to react to it. Reporter one thing that is particularly difficult for a uniform supply company is, cheryl, they buy their inventory at the end of last year, and so they didnt even know coronavirus was going to hit. Theyve got all of this inventory and they dont know what to do with it because not all of it is selling. Cheryl fascinating Grady Trimble, thank you so much appreciate it for that report, connell over to you. Connell another issue, cheryl were watching september 11 tribute in new york city. They will not be projected into the sky this year, the national 9 11 Memorial Museum canceled the display and they concluded the health risks during the pandemic were far too great for the large crew that be required to produce this annual tribute. President trump is in new york city hes just arrived at the hospital this video from moments ago, hes visiting his Brother Robert. There is the president walking in from the parking garage into the hospital, and the Medical Center on the east side of manhattan. There had been reports earlier that robert trump was very ill and the president was asked about it in his White House Briefing and all he would say is his brother was having a hard time so President Trump visit ing his younger Brother Robert in new york city at the hospital right now. Robert trump, 72 years old again the younger brother of President Trump. Cheryl . Cheryl connell well of course continue to follow the president s movements but were also following this commercial construction. Taking a major blow throughout the pandemic as work from home becomes the new norm but one company is defying this trend breaking down on a 60 story skyscraper which is going to alter chicagos skyline as we know it, jeff flock is live in chicago hey there, jeff. Reporter and cheryl the company is named salesforce, based in san francisco, and behind me, perhaps you see what will soon be, well, a sight see ing boat but behind that, a place called wolf point in chicago which is a historic spot , will rise the 60 story Salesforce Tower just pouring the foundation and the concrete there now. Why could this thing go forward during the pandemic . Which it did, and thanks to some deep pocketed investors because the perception that salesforce is a company that will do well as we go forward after the pandemic, but perhaps more people working remotely, this is a company that handles Customer Satisfaction and that sort of thing, its a software company. Thats the belief that they will continue to have workers that need to work there. The question is will there be many more of these buildings built . If you take a look at the number s on construction starts this is not homes now, but big buildings like the ones were talking about. It starts down in the First Six Months of the year down 22 and they had ticked up a little bit in may and june, but now, perhaps, more concern about the coronavirus and more concern that people will work from home perhaps indefinitely and have a lot less need for office space. That might leave a lot of vacant buildings and no need for new ones. Cheryl could be great for chicago and certainly its nice to see the sun out this week. Its been a tough week for that city. Reporter beautiful day. True enough. Connell all right cheryl its a major boost in the 2020 money race and you know we always follow the money. Usaa connell so a new fox poll has the democratic president ial hopeful joe biden up by seven points nationally against President Trump but despite the lead for biden one interesting wrinkle in this poll when voters are asked who their neighbors are supporting more said trump. 39 think the folks next door are going for the president , 34 said biden and wall street journalist editor joins us and said well thats the shy trump voter that we saw last time around john and others said well i dont know maybe more biden folks think they live next door to trump people and dont read too much into it but what do you say . Yeah both of those could be true. This is kind of a way of trying to get past the problem that some polsters have had. When they ask a person who are you going to vote for and theres any degree of controversy involved in who the different candidates are, sometimes people dont want to say who they are going to vote for so the polster asks well who do you think your neighbors are going to vote for and then the person is kind of true affinity comes out and they say well candidate x or y. Its a way of getting a read but its a very unscientific way of trying to determine which way the electorate is going because just as you say, it could be an expression of a shy trump voter, who maybe says i dont know who im going to vote for but my neighbors vote for trump and the polster realizes the person has an affinity for trump or it could be a biden voter just looking at the amount of divisiveness in politics right now, and thinks that the neighbors are kind of part of that, and so they assume they are going to vote one direction or another. Its not very scientific but its an interesting read isnt it . Its an interesting contradiction to the numbers that basically, in the fox poll as well, connell, go against trump once again. Connell they do. Its gotten a lite tighter. He was biden up 12 and now hes up 7 but the lead, its been interesting. How do you see this race versus 2016 when a lot of people obviously were caught off guard on election night, President Trump, you know, we called wisconsin i think they said whoa but the state by state basis he won those swing states but trailed nationally; however it seems it was more volatile whereas the biden lead is stead ier this time around. How would you compare the two races so far up until this point connell not to discount what you also just said which is that in the summer the fox poll had him, had biden up by 1112 points over the president and now thats down to seven, but you know, that said, the polls can swing, also senate can swing the summer was, you know, a particular time in the coronavirus scare as well. Generally though, the polls are showing biden ahead 789 points and thats been consistent for the last several months. I think that this election is going to be decided on two issues. One is the coronavirus and the fact that the white house just has not been able to get its armed around it and it has miss managed the containment of the virus and the economy. Whether people feel safe sending their kids backtoschool, whether you or i have a job, so i think those are the issues. Connell i have that up on the screen with the issues, john the economy is the one issue and its been like this throughout where the president is as they say, above water. This is who you trust to do a better job and trumps 47, biden s 44, biden is ahead on the other issues but the president s Approval Rating is whatever its in the low to mid 40s thats where he is on the coronavirus, 44 approval how hes handled so i guess that shows his people has done a good job but on the economy he outperformed and if he can make this race about taxes, about a choice between him and former Vice President biden say of Capital Gains and tax rates into the fall, then is that how he mounts what, you know, be a come back . I think thats right, and thats what his advisors have been advising all along, is that he should focus on the economy, this is precovid. So the questions whether or not hes going to have enough of a tailwind come november, or whether or not theres going to be enough kids back at school freeing up parents to get back to work and youre going to see the huge slump in employment in the United States recover further so that he could say look were coming back. The economies coming back on its feet after a historic blow, but whether thats not going to happen, but you will hear, i think, out of the trump adminitration and out of the Trump Campaigners a desire to stick on that topic, because the economic numbers have been his strong suit up until now. Big question whether thats going to remain so in the next two mont. Connell yes. Let me just get one point in on money, if i can, before i let you go because the knock against the Biden Campaign is that there hasnt been much enthusiasm that the enthusiasm thats helping biden is antitrump enthusiasm but they say they raised 48 million in 48 hours since the Kamala Harris pick. I mean, what does that speak to, if anything, on the enthusiasm side do you think . Yeah it speaks to the fact that you have these surges when theres a Big Development in the campaign and picking a number two is a Big Development so youll have a lot of people paying attention thats getting acrosstheboard coverage on all of the news channels and in the newspapers. Whether or not that continues as we get closer to the election well just have to see , but you know, the Trump Campaign is not without its resources, and its financial capability, so its good news for biden but its not a deciding in this race. Both are wellfunded going into this final lap of the campaign. Connell yeah, money shouldnt be an issue on either side just how you spend it john, thank you , john bussey with us from the wall street journal, and we have special editions of after the bell setup, and ill be heading out to key swing states at the center of things, in fact monday ill be in wisconsin doing a show from there visiting a Community Critical for the president s reelection and then were headed to joe bidens hometown, scranton, pa, as he gets set to formally accept the nomination on the democratic side in that speech hell make in delaware so the swing state economy series we started precovid well final ly continue, looking forward to it next week, cheryl . Cheryl getting out and about sounds great, connell. Well city dwellers are heading south. More americans are getting out of some of the countries largest cities to escape rising crime as well as crowded urban areas during the pandemic. And a lot of them are heading for places like florida. Brian yennis is in West Palm Beach with all of the latest. Brian . Reporter cheryl, well look, the evidence is growing that people are leaving the north and heading south to florida. We are at the brandon transfer and Storage Facility in West Palm Beach. This is 180,000 pounds of people s stuff from connecticut, new jersey, new york, chicago. This is a record in a 100year history of this company theyve never stored this much Household Items for people shipping it down here as they prepare to look for new homes in the suburbs of florida. Our increase in storage and transit business coming from the north is up 50 right now. We are 50 higher in storage than we were at this point last year, and were at the peak that weve ever been in the history of the company. Reporter according to research 22 of americans, 1 in 5 americans have either relocated or know someone who has relocated amid the pandemic. On top of all of that people are shipping their stuff and this is a highlycompetitive market, so things are being held in storage longer than they planned as they look for a home in florida. You talk to realtors look at the numbers its really competitive. The prices of homes in Single Family homes in south florida have gone up about 5 compared to last year. The prices of condos have even gone up, 6 compared to last year, and when you speak to realtors, some of these homes are being sold virtually. Sight unseen. Theyre not coming to shop or , you know, on vacation. They are coming with a specific agenda, to execute, purchase, and come here. Reporter and cheryl, these wooden bolts holdup to 1,000 pounds of couches and Household Items pretty incredible stuff. Cheryl that shot is incredible as well brian thank you very much, from miami, connell . Connell i was just thinking that was a pretty cool shot. Connell so long island new york has been experiencing neardaily shark sightings this summer and the Nassau County marine patrol has increased their shark patrol units trying to help keep swimmers safe in fact laura inge l got a chance to ride along on one of these patrols. Laura . Hey there, yeah you come out here and report on it often enough and get on a boat and thats exactly what he asked to do is see exactly how those work and those repeat shark sightings have led local officials to say were going to go on the offensive and try and spot the sharks before they spot the humans in the water. A good idea and its been working so far. Now shark patrol teams are out in force currently on long island combining the efforts of marine units on the water, aviation teams in the sky and lifeguards onshore scanning the waves for any sign of dangerous predators who seem to be moving in closer to the beaches this year. We took a ride with the Nassau CountyPolice Marine patrol as they work the warm waters off the south sherwood of long island. Obviously that might be attracting a few more sharks, so im not really sure but i dont remember having to be out here as much as we have been this year. Reporter summer 2020 has been the season of the shark with sighting after sighting up and down the atlantic east coast with bull sharks and at least one great white which killed a woman last month in maine. There have been 17 shark attacks in the u. S. This year with multiple reports of sharks in the water, in new york prompting Nassau County to initiate these specialized patrols to prevent people from becoming part of the under water food chain not only looking for fins but also flocks of birds feeding on bait fish in the water and its a good indication a shark could be close. You get the hit or you see some activity whats the time lapse between getting the information to the shore . Well i mean, we have the radio so we can get right on radio with our cb operators that can notify long beach so it would only be a couple minutes at the most. Reporter two sharks spotted here yesterday which means shark patrol stays in effect through the end of the season back to you. Connell i was at the beach one day recently and a shark was like three miles away. I said thats close enough for me. Ill just stay in the chair for now, thank you laura, down in long island. Cheryl . Cheryl lets just stay in manhattan then, comics in new york, are ditching those crowded clubs known here and theyre taking their sets outdoors for socially distancing entertainment and whale that may not be the best medicine in a pandemic laughter is a welcome distraction to the outside world i want to bring in standup new york older danny zolden. Its great to have you and you and i met before and love your club its right by where i live. Great idea where did it come from and whats been the reception . Hi cheryl thanks for having me first of all. That shark story got me a bit nervous though. Cheryl me too. If im trembling its not because im on tv its because of the shark story. Cheryl lets talk about what youre doing with these comics because youre in central park, you guys have been standup in battery park, happening out in brooklyn. Its a great idea. Ive actually seen some of this but then its very different from the club that you own now which is very tight quarters we should say, a great club but youve got dogs barking and airplanes going over and all of the distractions how has it been . And kids running right in front of the stage on the grass. Its been great. I mean, its really the only option that i think the only good option that comics have right now. The past few months a lot of comics have been doing zoom shows, but theres no audience reaction, so most comics ive spoken to arent a fan of the zoom shows they want to perform in front of a Live Audience so weve been taking these shows to parks across manhattan, brooklyn, queens, were going to expand to other areas also, and theyre just happy performing in front of an audience, even without a microphone. Cheryl is it free or are you selling tickets . How is this working . So i dont want to get in trouble but were not going to be selling tickets moving forward now, but we do sell tickets on our website. Its a suggested donation but really, anybody can come if theyre walking by, they want to buy a ticket, they dont have to pay or donate. We just want them to join us and laugh and hopefully we can provide some comic relief during this difficult time in the city. Cheryl ill say for those that love standup new york and want to donate, the website is the best place to go . Standupny. Com. We post our shows daily, tuesday sunday we have shows. We announce the lineups on our website on social media 10 a. M. Every morning. Were doing about 50 shows a week right now in parks throughout the city, and yeah its a great opportunity for comics to get out there, its a great opportunity for new yorkers to laugh again and i think its the second best thing we have right now, while the clubs are shutdown. Cheryl like standup new york you never know whose going to show up. Some famous people like to just drop by, standup new york ive got to say ive learned that from experience. Danny, really great idea. Thank you for bringing us something positive in the city we really appreciate it. Thank you. Cheryl connell over to you connell we could all use a laugh and its also an example of a business getting creative which weve seen so much of this year and along those same lines its kind of become the summer of the drivein. The drivein Movie Theaters are making a comeback, and the big one thats happening at walmart, its turning into a giant drivein. Theyre setting up right now. You can see in about two and a half hours they will be playing e. T. , 7 30 p. M. Registration is free. Walmarts doing this across the country, 160 locations, 320 different movies. Theyre going to have to compete with drivein Movie Theaters. Theres about 300 in the United States. Definitely back in the 1950s there were over 4,000. The difference here is theres going to be social distancing even ponte on the parking lot, you can see the blue cones separating the cars, and they also will have to compete with the Movie Theaters. Amc and regal cinema are set to reopen next week, and they, too, will be offering older movies for a discounted price. The difference though, the big difference with driveins is the fact that you can really, you can just, you can social distance from your car, and you can just sit here. The only problem is you do have to get out to go to the bathroom. Hey, go in, get some concessions, use their bathrooms until 10 p. M. , and enjoy this Movie Theater for free. See how it egos tonight and across the country and until october 31st. Connell kristina, thank you. Itll be interesting, talking about those drivein Movie Theaters, years ago reporter im trying to get over the fact that theyre going to watch e. T. Cheryl from 1983 . The. Connell i know, old school.
