Futures pointing big week ahead after stocks in the red last week, you can see the future gains there. Nasdaq down for the second week in a row, you can see the markets last week, also north of 1 on the nasdaq. Joining me now chief equity Market Strategist phil orlando and joining the conversation all morning long pollster and maslansky partners lee carter and moody partner john lonsky and Mitch Roschelle. Phil, lets kick it off with you, you saw the losses in tech stocks, do you think theres more to come with some of the Biggest Tech Companies . The stock markets had phenomenal gain, frankly, we have been expecting that there would be some consolidation and there would be a rally, if you would from economic sensitive names that have lagged here, so the fact that tech is pulling back here is not a concern at all. Theyve had a great run. Dagen Mitch Roschelle, have there been in laggers, the Commodity Index were up 25 since the end of march and the bloomberg barkleys index added 3 in the span, if the gains hold final week of july, this would be the first time that gauges rose that much in a fourmonth period, first time ever, so theres not including gold spiking to record hikes theres not much that hasnt gained with the massive amount of money that the Federal Reserve has been pumping in. Mitch yeah, thats what the market is responding to. To phils point i think the interesting thing is the size of the fang names is really whats driving the s p 500 and the rally isnt as broad as people would expect perhaps. My question to phil is if we continue to see the rotation away from some of those technology names, where does the money go . So since the bo testimony of the market on march 23rd, s p 500 have outperformed value stocks by like 37 which is just an enormous number, now, within the growth category weve liked tech and health care and as youre saying 5 or 6 fang names have driven rally in tech. We would like to see the rally broaden out. Health care ought to continue to do well based upon the progress that we are making with vaccines and antiviral drugs but we would like to see more economically sensitive stocks in categories like financial services, consumer discretionary, industrials, energy, we think these stocks need to find some love and frankly the Second Quarter earning season is coming in better than expected so maybe investors are ready to start to look sort of swift through the rubble and look through the stocks that are undervalued and this is going to fuel the second half rally. Dagen john lonsky, jump in here, took over the break over the summer, the size of the Balance Sheet paused, its been at 7 trillion in june since june, where do you think the fed comes in this week and can you expect more stimulus from the central bank . John you may get more stimulus as additional purchases. The u. S. Economy is not doing so poorly that the fed has to make much use of current credit support programs for corporations, Small Businesses, state and local governments, its incredible, you allude today this earlier, we right now are looking at the lowest Corporate Bond yields on record according to the bloomberg barkleys index, moodies has bond yield, lowest since 1955. Dagen that is incredible. We are less than 100 days until the election, theres unrest in democraticled cities across the country. You throw in china, the virus, you still see cases growing in certain states particularly the southern portion of the United States, whats your greatest fear or concern . Well, i dont know that theres any one greatest fear. I think youve had a couple of them. From a virus standpoint, second wave of surge that we have seen florida, california, and texas, mortalities have stayed relatively low, we would love to see second wave peak out and see vaccine development. Suppose none of that works out, thats one concern. The second concern is democrats run the table, that potentially introduces a fiscal policy regime change in terms of tax regulation and that sort of thing and im not sure the market has begun to price that in. I think thats the biggest risks. Dagen here is a little tip, the size of government has exploded because of this virus, we are running a 5 or 6 or even 7 trilliondollar deficit. The fed is monetizing is monitoring. It will only get bigger, regardless of who is in the white house, phil, we are in an area, new with era of ginormous those underwritings had been a little over 1 . The plan longterm, if the test underwritings continue to go well, you finance some or all of Monetary Policy at lower rate than what we have been financing the 20 plus trillion dollars of debt up until now. That could be one of the vehicle that is the treasure uses to try to keep this what the under control. Dagen good to see you, phil, thank you for the insight, phil orlando. This on 60th straight protest night in portland, Maria Bartiromo speaking with chad wolf on sunday morning futures. Maria portland looks like baghdad and they are pushing back on officers, these people can go all the way up to the fence and the perimeter and throw bricks at officers, what are you going to do about it . Absolutely, i will say that we are working very closely with the department of justice, the fbi as well as others and we will have additional actions as early as this week. We cannot let continue Police Officers targeted and injured night after night. Its important that your viewers understand whats going on in portland is violence every single night. Lets bring this to a peaceful conclusion. Dagen meantime oakland also hard hit over the weekend with protestors setting fire to the alamido courthouse late saturday night something that she has resisted, joining me now for nypd lieutenant Darrin Porcher, great to see you. What people cant understand is how do these mayors and the governors in the states standby and watch this happen whether its without the help of the feds or not. When you read the tealeaves its clear that the protests that become violent require sense of targeted enforcement, therefore as a result we need to have focus policing on agitators that are committing atrocities that are committing anarchy in the cities that are plagued by the violence demonstrations as a result. Dagen are these Police Forces capable of that and whats getting in the way of the targeted enforcement . I believe the departments are capable of creating moratorium on violence however its the elected officials that are receding the Police Presence at the demonstrations so as a result we see violence plaguing the communities. We need to have proactive and not reactive reaction in the city. Thats what we are doing. Closing the gate after the horses escapes. Dagen Andy Mccarthy who is a former u. S. Prosecutor, contributor fox news outlined this last week in oped he did on foxnews. Com. We need to make the distinction, the clear distinction about the role of federal officers in portland protecting federal property and assistance that people from federal Law Enforcement agencies are providing in a city like chicago, its very, very different. Absolutely, when we look at whats happening in portland, initially deployment of federal Law Enforcement was there for the protection of federal monuments and courthouses but when we look at operation in chicago its different. They are looking to decrease violence and begin violence in connection with whats happening in chicago, so in chicago its going to be more investigative and apprehension base where as we look at what is happening in portland for more protection mechanism so they are different in both places but the truth of the matter is we need that localized Law Enforcement to assist and coalesce behind the federal authorities to ensure that we can eradicate and create drop in violence and we havent seen it in connection with the localized Law Enforcement and the elected officials in places like portland and chicago. Dagen right, i think this is true that the protests that have turned into anarchy and violence and vandalism and its not peaceful protests, we see we can see with our own eyes and they dont just run out of oxygen and end which seem to be at least the early narrative that we are hearing from the mayors. Darrin, great to see you, Darrin Porcher. Thank you. Dagen texas battered by Tropical Storm as hawaii braces for a hurricane. It will carry a 1 trilliondollar price tag, thereabouts, lee, what do you make of this, is it too late because the democrats in the house passed Something Back in may trying to get ahead of this but got 3 and a half trillion dollar price tag on it . Lee its not too late but it has to happen now. Congress takes a break august 7th, last week we had the federal eviction rules expire. 7 31, four days from now we have Unemployment Insurance boost that everybody got and all of that expiring. They have to act now and they have to get it done and they have to make the case that this is better than anything else. The underlying issue here and what is at stake that most Americans Still give president and republicans the edge on the economy and a lot of their feelings on the economy right now is being listed by whats happening by the stimulus package. I think its really important that republicans get something passed and get it done. Dagen Mitch Roschelle in latest fox news poll that came out, i think it was more than a week ago, the the joe biden has an edge on President Trump with the economy now by 1 percentage point but thats a turnaround, so it kind of puts the ball in the Republicans Court on getting relief out. Mitch yeah, we need to do this in a way that does, in fact, continue to stimulate the economy without creating unintended consequences of the 600 because the 600 had unintended consequences of people making more money not working. The university of chicago did the study back in may that suggested that twothirds of americans would make less than money if they return to work and abandon the 600dollar weekly benefit and we need something that will actually continue to create incentives to get people to work as opposed to not work. Dagen john lonski, the republicans waited too long because the 600 in benefits this week, started disappearing over the weekend, people can talk about about going away, its actually going away for people and the republicans Mitch Mcconnell is talking about its going take weeks to negotiate this. John yes, a lot of people are going to miss that money and are depending upon it and people that need it because of preexisting conditions, asthma, diabetes, they really cant go out there and get a job without risking contracting the horrible disease, and what im especially worried about, however, the end to ability of household to differ mortgage payments, rent payments and what not, whether or not they are going to be able to reassume the payments, in addition, we have to see they will make mortgage payments, interest payments. Dagen the republicans in this based on reporting on the wall street journal, the republicans will seek to extend the federal ban which expired on friday with federallybacked mortgages, this is according to larry kudlow. Democrats proposed expanding ban on evictions while offering 175 billion in housing assistance, so they are trying to put that ban on evictions back in place, the republicans are. Futures are pointing to higher point, gold shining, hitting new alltime high closing in on 2,000 an ounce. Concerns growing over worsening u. S. China relations, checking on Global Market action in europe, markets there mixed, slight losses in england and france. A blow to tourism, the industry there, putting spain in quarantine. We had losses on hang seng and hong kong and the nikkei in japan. China reporting industrial profits in june surge 11 and a half percent year over year. Keep in mind these are numbers put out by the communist party. Hanna downgraded to Tropical Storm but the system could still cause problems for texas, Cheryl Casone has the details. Cheryl. Cheryl thats right, dagen, hanna made landfall in lone star state, the National Weather service says the system unloaded more than 12inches of rain in some parts of texas, flooding still remains a threat for that state today. Meanwhile hurricane douglas took a swipe at hawaii coming with thin distance of direct hit but hasnt stopped heavy rains and winds to battling parts of maui. Com, mega cap tech stocks are surging, some investors drawing parallels with the dot com bubble of 1999 and 2000 moderno has received to support Coronavirus Vaccine and in virginia, chickfila is offering free food in exchange for coins amid the nationwide shortage due to coronavirus pandemic. Those are your headlines, back over to you. Dagen thank you so much, cheryl. Less than 100, President Trump and former Vice President joe biden hitting campaign trail with president heading to texas, biden stumping in florida as the countdown to the election day heats up. According to latest swing state polls from cnn, Vice President biden is leading by double digits in michigan as well as slimmer margins in arizona and florida, joining Us Democratic strategist and Rock Solutions Senior Adviser kristin harn and republican strategist and partner at mercury, brian lanza, brian, whats the president going to do to make up, hes behind, if you look at real clear politics average of polls, hes behind in wisconsin, florida, michigan, pennsylvania, North Carolina and arizona at the moment. I mean, listen, he will have a vigorous debate. People start tuning after the Labor Day Holiday and start looking at the policies that affect them the most. A, whats going to be the coronavirus sort of message Going Forward from the campaign and, b, how are we going to bet back to economy january and february, every Demographic Group was succeeding under the economy. I think when we have an economic discussion, i think the president puts himself in a good spot. Dagen how does kristin, joe biden, maybe taken that lead . Kristin well, im always skeptical of national polls. I think that the campaign is doing the right thing just keeping their head down and moving forward. The one thing i do they have done good job of is delivering a stark contrast in how they would handle the coronavirus, how the president did, what was interested in the poll, was that while 70 of people many michigan dont approve of how the president handles himself, we always knew that before and i think people overlooked it and voted for him anyway, i think after his handling of of the pandemic i think that might change. Dagen well, if you read karl roves column, bryan, last week who went through what joe biden talked about on recent appearance on television about what he would do that was different on the coronavirus fight, everything that he went through, the list included things that President Trump had already done, literally, he was talking about you need more testing, well, in one day last week 50 million tests had been conducted in the United States. People should be in a position to maintain businesses, well, just in the paycheck protection program, forgivable loans and grants, that was 659 billion there. So everything that he went through is exactly whats in place and being expand today fight the virus under the president. You know, karl wrote a good story or oped but i think at the end tone matters. You sort of seen shift of, you know, we have this coronavirus we are going to be dealing with it for a long time but thats the rate that matters the most. As you talk about more and more of the data, but that said, data is pretty clear, if youre 65 and above are higher risk and if youre a kid, you know, under 5 youre more likely to die from the flu than covid virus so i think the data is ultimately going to help the president more and more has come in and the data wont be able to hide what the Mainstream Media has done and play up everybody getting the virus is a bad thing and the bad thing is the it takes a year of vaccine to take place, we have mitigation measures and we are doing that. Dagen i dont mean to digress but i made a comment to a Family Member of mine that the reporting of what individuals really need to know at a local level and even as a state level in term of protection and death rates its so bad, literally people are getting their covid information from gossip in their towns, its like seriously, its like the pharmacists knows than the local news med. A i want to move onto swing state enthusiasm. Cbs Battleground Tracker also has joe biden leading in michigan but President Trump up in one point in ohio, the polls show majority of biden support from both states come from people who are mainly voting against President Trump rather than for the former Vice President. Kristin, to you on this, this is something that lee carter has talked about and im going to bring her in a second that people are voting not for Vice President biden but against President Trump and that could turn around really quickly, is that a concern . I mean, i think that theres a lot of support for stable leader like a joe biden. Theres no doubt that this is an election where tensions are running high and certainly a referendum on President Trump. We dont take anything for granted and nobody should and we are a long way from november but i think it would be really tough for President Trump to turn this around and handled pandemic and its personal for people and people vote with their heart and health care is so close to everybody right now so im not necessarily concerned about that, we are a long way from november and, you know, the Campaign Needs to do what it need to be doing. Dagen lee, this is something that you talked about repeatedly, people are siding with the Vice President because they dislike President Trump, is that turning around based on the polling that youre looking at and how is that a strength or weakness for biden . I think the bottom line is, twothirds of voters that are supporting joe biden are voting for joe biden. I think enthusiasm is strong for the Vice President and less so for joe biden. Im not entirely surprised by that because we really have not heard from joe biden despite the fact that hes been running for a very long time, a lot of people when you look at polling are unclear on exactly what the Vice President is going to do when it comes to health care, exactly what hes going to do when comes to policies. He hasnt named running mate, differentiation on joe biden, hes running to fight for moral of america, most people arent sure what hes going to do for me. Thats the bottom line. Theres one thing when you look at nationwide polls, state by state polls when people have to answer the question what is this candidate going to do for me and what is my life going to look different as a result of this candidate, thats what it comes down to and joe biden needs to make the case on what Joe Bidens America will look like and i dont think its very clear. Dagen kristin, do you think who a running mate might be . You want to toss a name out there . Its a short list but if you pull up screen of people who are technically in the running its like i dont know, 2 dozen women, maybe. [laughter] yeah, senator harris, susan rice would be at the top of my list but there are a number of really strong women canned taits that would be strong running mates for the Vice President right now. Dagen bryan, final word to you . I know karen bass, i think she would be a challenge for the president , she doesnt have the baggage as Kamala Harris or susan rice has, but at the end of the day, when biden made the decision he will choose a woman no matter what. I think he limited his options. If you look at what the governors, democratic governors have done during the covid, i think a lot of them have risen to the moment that could add to the ticket and you have Kamala Harris planning Opposition Research against her potential vp nominees, desperation, i think biden made mistake and she were the first to push him out of office if she were to win. Dagen so her the way that she messages what the democrats represent is pretty powerful. Kristin and bryan lanza, thank you. Another big name bailing on coronavirus why joe rogan is following elon musk to lone star state. Pintsize cruiser making a buzz this morning, youre watching mornings with maria live on fox business. Our family is from . What about here . Here . Here . Daddy, is that where were from . Well, actually. Were from a lot of places. You see were from here and there and here. Turn questions youve always had into stories you cant wait to share; with ancestry. Dagen welcome back Nevada Churches dealt controversial blow by Supreme Court, churches in nevada still need to limit inperson attendance to 50 people and Nevada Church argued the policy limiting inperson Church Attendance during coronavirus pandemic violated the constitution. The church claiming the policy treated Church Services differently from other large gatherings including oh, going to gamble at a casino, going to a gym or eat at a restaurant which can have more than 50 people. The Supreme Court denied the petition in 5 to 4 ruling, joining me now fox news senior judicial analyst judge andrew napolitano. Judge, good to see you, is this appalling. Andrew it is appalling, dagen, and its a headscratcher, i mean, the freedom of religion is the first religion, first religion protected in the First Amendment, free exercise of religion and this is exactly the type of discrimination that the courts were written, the courts exist in order to address, because this came as emergency application and because it came in the middle of the summer, theres really no reason given for rejecting the decision, so this is not a decision on the merits, as offensive as it is, its a decision to let the Lower Court Ruling stand and the Lower Court Ruling upheld the power of the governor to make this decision, but it really is a head scratcher as you point out how huge numbers of people can gather in casinos but not in churches and unfortunately the churches keep losing. These decisions are going against the churches all over the country. I was at the cathedral, the governor of new jersey would only permit 100 no matter what configuration, we were so socially distant the person closest to me was 30 feet away, its absurd. Dagen would you like know read the one paragraph decent from Justice Gorsuch. Andrew yes, and its brilliant. Dagen in nevada it seems its better to be entertainment than religion. Maybe thats nothing new but the First Amendment prohibits such obvious discrimination against exercise of religion. The world we inhabit today with pandemic upon us poses unusual challenges, but there is no world in which the constitution permits nevada to favor cesars palace over calvary chapel. Andrew john roberts is target and rightly so. He does not like to make major decisions without a long measured rationale behind it and thats not fees until the summer. Thats the best explanation i can get from his decision to vote not to take the case, again, this is not on the merits, however, as Justice Gorsuch quite properly points out, the right to work, to go to a casino is not protected by the First Amendment, the free exercise of religion is. It trumps lower case t anything that the state wants to do and the state is obliged to protect it and it hasnt. Dagen states are also obliged under the tenth amendment protect provide safety for the residents of those very states and they have turned their backs on that part of the constitution as well, judge, but thats for another day. [laughter] andrew yes, always a pleasure, dagen. [laughter] andrew no matter what we are talking about. Dagen i know that from you, not only the state right but the obligation under the Supreme Court to protect the safety provide safety for the residents, so i quote you, dear, sir. Judge andrew napolitano. Elon musk getting political, tesla chief weighing on new round of stimulus, senator Bernie Sanders fires back. A horse drawn caisson took him apart the Edmund Pettus bridge for the final crossing. Hell be laid to rest in georgia on thursday. Those are your headlines from here. Dagen thank you so much. Time for the word on wall street where we discuss whats driving markets and the economy. Joining me this morning, Capital Markets head of global research, katherine berra, troy gieski and chief Investment Officer lee mondamonson. Futures are pointing to gains this morning to start u. S. Trading, investors bracing for a huge week of earnings and Economic Data. Meantime, gold prices soaring to a new alltime high this morning, close to 1700 2,000 an ounce. Katherine, lets kick it off with you. What is most important this week . Most important thing is and will continue to be stimulus, both from the Federal Reserve and from the u. S. Government. We are expecting some additional stimulus to come from both entities and to be announced in the near term. This is what i think has driven the markets up 45 from the lows and what is the only thing in my view that can continue to move markets higher. Dagen lets move on what about the earnings season, katherine, before we move on. You have a dozen dow components reporting, facebook, apple, amazon, alphabet all out this week. What are you watching on that note . Im looking to see if earnings corroborate the numerator in the pe multiple which is price to earnings, prices have soared, earnings have not kept pace but the market has wholly discounted some improvement in earnings. Maybe even beating expectations which are already dire. So if we beat the baseline which is very negative, dagen, then i think that youre going to see a market that breathes a sigh of relief. Dagen moving on. I want to get lee in here on these earnings. Only about a quarter of the s p have reported Second Quarter earnings so far. 80 beating earnings estimates. Per share earnings are down in the s p 500. Almost 37 from a year ago. Thats just really astonishing comedown especially for a market thats kept on chugging. Lee. Theres nothing great about earnings. What i find hilarious, i was reading notes from bernstein, goldman sachs, on apple earnings. Everybody says the same thing. Were expecting a miss or lower earnings this quarter. Were expecting earnings direction going down, going through the end of the year. And thats the case for both bulls and bears. I think from the perspective of earnings, we know theyre weak. We know the analysts have brought all the expectations down. The real issue this week is going to be the Congressional Committee hearing on facebook and apple and google and, remember, one of the main things that happened back in dotcom was when microsoft hit the regulatory wall and that was one of the things that topped that market. Im looking this week to the markets reaction more to those congressional hearings and let s to earnings. Bulls and bears, 100 points on a stock difference in their opinion are coming up with the very same thing to look out for. The only difference are these congressional hearings. I think those are key to earnings. I think thats whats going to bring this whole week together. Dagen also, lets talk about coronavirus cases. Troy, i have not geten to you gotten to you on this. I would push back on what lee is saying, that somehow those hearings are going to matter more than rising virus cases. I think theres a possibility that even texas is going to have to shut down again. You see its not just red states. Its florida and texas and then california. How does that factor into the picture this week . . Troy . That was a good point you just made. It parallels to the previous dotcom bubble. However, yes, dagen . Dagen troy, can you hear me . Yeah, i can hear you fine. Dagen okay. What about coronavirus cases . How is that how is it the market for the most part, other than last week, is ignoring the fact that this virus is growing and spreading still . Yeah. Again, as your earlier guest said the main driver of the recovery has been a spectacular fiscal stimulus, more importantly the stimulus thats come out of fed. Even the upcoming election, which is the most important driver of markets, not the pandemic, takes a back seat as were at about 2 trillion of fiscal stimulus. 1 million, thats 1 trillion thats roughly of gdp. That will be very muscular. Interestingly enough, the fed Balance Sheet stopped expanding the past five weeks. We expect further expansion as well. Those are the only two factors we think can drive markets higher at elevated multiples right now. If we dont have a fed that continues to step in and increase the Balance Sheet, we think were in for a long consolidation range. In the near term, fiscal stimulus, Monetary Policy, as typical will be driving the economy. If we do get another shutdown of key states, thats obviously going to be a hurdle thats going to be very difficult to overcome. We dont expect that right now. The governments sort of made the cost benefit analysis that we cant afford to have formal shutdowns like we did earlier in the year to help flatten the curve. So we think markets are more range bound with more volatility. Dagen thank you, one and all. Katherine, troy and lee. Much more ahead this morning. Coming up this hour, pennsylvania congressman guy refreshereshenthaler is here. Lee miller wa weighs in on the tensions the china. Keeping safe in summer, the new warning over the chemicals found in sunscreen. And working and learning from home, questions over school reopenings, we look at the new trend of home schooling pods. But first, acting customs and Border Protection commissioner mark morgan joins me on the o ongoing violence in democrat led cities. Treat your heart, not bless your heart. A new study shows how eating chocolate can lower your risk of Heart Disease. Youre watching mornings with maria live on fox business. Come on to me, come on to me, now. Boom, crash, the sound of my heart. [indistinct radio chatter] mom come on, hurry up all systems go . Mission Control 5 4 3 2. And liftoff. vo audi etron. The next frontier of electric. Get audi at your door Remote Services through participating dealers. Dagen breaking news on moderna, announcing the start of phase three trials of its covid19 vaccine. The study is expected to enroll 30,000 participants in the United States. That stock jumping on the news. Mitch roschelle, this is really what weve been this is one of the trials, phase three trials thats expected, someone who i trust very much who i think is one of the smartest people on planet earth told me its very possible that one or more of these vaccines youve got the pfizer one with bu bion biontech. Theyve got an advanced order from the Trump Administration last week. Its likely that very likely that one or two of these vaccines, assuming their efficacy, get Regulatory Approval in the fall, mitch. Mitch and ive been doing a lot of consistent se consultatih companies about getting back to work in offices. The number one thing im hearing from Senior Management is theyre waiting for a vaccine. So i think the big catalyst to getting a big chunk of our economy, which is the services economy, which takes place in offices, back to work in somewhat of a normal environment is going to be a vaccine. So any news on a vaccine i think is going to be very welcomed. Dagen astrazeneca, moderna, pfizer, merck, johnson johnson, all working on vaccines, really incredible. Thank you, mitch. More cash going into your pockets, republican lawmakers set to unveil their coronavirus stimulus plan later today. The proposal expected to cost about 1 trillion. It would include Liability Protection, another 1,200 in payments to americans, money for additional testing as well as 100 billion going to schools and universities. Joining me now, Washington Examiner editorial director, hugo garden. Hugo, great to see you. The real Sticking Point is that 600 extra per week that americans were receiving in Unemployment Benefits and thats the ream hangup real hangup and thats what the democrats are going to use as a giant club against the republicans. Yeah, thats exactly right, dagen. The 600 extra dollars is an amount of money which republicans say, and many economists agree, means that a lot of people are being paid a great deal more not to work than to work. And you know, generally when you pay people to do something, thats what theyre going to do. If youre paying them not to work, theyre not going to go back. Obviously it was very important right early on to make sure there was money in peoples pockets, that they could keep spending so that you also didnt want them to try and go back to work. You wanted them to stay at home. Early on, a lot of money in their pockets was good idea. Now its having a deleterious effect on the economy because its very difficult for people to hire. And thats what the republicans want to change and thats what the democrats dont want to change. Dagen what also needs to go hand in hand, if you want individuals to go back to work, it has to be the reopening of schools. Because the lack of child care and the lack of education available to parents, thats also of getting in the way of people staying at home and you do see the unions and they are in the pocket of the democrats pushing hard against reopening a school, despite the cdc coming out with a list of things to do to make sure everyones health is protected. Yeah, you know, i think schools is a huge, huge issue. Im sure that you know, im sure that all of your viewers know people who have children and theyre really woul worried abot being able to go back to work. People on my staff have children at home. Theyre very worried about the fall semester coming up and still being forced to take at home to look after children and not being able to work properly. As you say, the teachers unions are standing in the way of this, the teachers unions give Something Like 95 or more even on the money that they give in politics goes to the democrats. So they have a real stranglehold on democratic policy, the democrats always pander to the teachers unions. They dont want the schools opening. As you say, the cdc has laid out guidelines about how this can be done. And just my own children, i have a daughter who really wants to go to high school, shes just starting high school, she really wants to go but shes told it will be Remote Learning all through the autumn. Dagen nancy pelosi taking a page out of President Trumps playbook, pelosi giving President Trump a nickname for his response to the coronavirus pandemic, calling him mr. Make matters worse. She also called it the trump virus. Hugo, your reaction . Its kind of a titfortat. I think its a petty thing for nancy pelosi to do. She calls is the trump virus i think because President Trump has called it the china virus. The thing is, that the china virus happens to be accurate and trump virus is not. Its just a bit of name calling. I think that, you know, the democrats have an incentive to make sure that the president s handling of the virus, which has not been 100 by any means, is genuinely regarded by voters as having been poor. 58 of voters think hes handled it badly. The democrats want to make sure the handling of the virus tones be an issue up continues to be an issue up to november, and continues to depress Donald Trumps poll numbers which are not looking good at the moment. Dagen the name calling and the insults when the democrats are what they claim to hate. Thank you, hugo. Great to see you. Coming up, elon musk gets political, the tesla chief weighs in on a new round of stimulus and senator Bernie Sanders fires back. Plus, another big name bails on california, why joe rogan is following elon musk to the lone star state. Some Companies Still have hr stuck between employees and their data. Entering data. Dagen a stimulus battle from Silicon Valley to capitol hill, Tesla Ceo Elon musk tweeting this on friday, another government stimulus package is not in the best interest of the people in my opinion. These are jammed to the gills with special interest earmarks. If we do a stimulus at all, it should be direct payments to consumers. And its getting a response to senator Bernie Sanders, sanders calling musk a hypocrite. Lee, what do you make of this . Lee listen, i think that elon musk is a pr provocateur. He throws himself in the middle of things you wouldnt expect a typical ceo to get involved in and he causes an interesting conversation to happen. I think hes not wrong. Special interests have no place thein this kind of thing. It becomes difficult to fight it because were under a very, very tight deadline. People need relief and the party thats going do fight on this is going to have a big issue. So i appreciate the fact that hes entering in conversation, causing debate to happen but i think its a tough way to handle it when theres a few days before Congress Takes a place. Dagen hasnt elon musk gotten behind universal basic income . John he getting his own support for the tax credits, if you buy one of these electric vehicles, so to some extent he has benefited from government subsidies, if you like. Im not sure about his support for universal income. Sometimes it feels as though were moving in that direction. But eventually markets may frown on any further expansion of government subsidies for consumers to such an extent the u. S. Dollar nosedives and as a result we then begin to feel the pain of these near recordbreaking levels of federal government budget deficits and federal government debt. Dagen mitch, elon musk is right on this note, senator ron johnson wrote an editorial on friday that was in the wall street journal that talked about lawmakers are rushing to spend more money without oversight of the 3 trillion that has already passed. And if you look at how that paycheck protection money was handed out, it was a disaster. Because the people who really needed it, the Small Businesses, many of them still didnt get it and it was just a grabbag for people who could have gotten financing through other channe channels. Mitch yeah. I think theyre going to probably plow forward ahead with more forms of stimulus and look back for years if not a decade at what happened to see how we can learn from it for the next time. What i like about elon musks comment, though, is i think theres a young element of the electorate that follows him that may see this and get engaged in the debate to the point that lee made and i think thats very important, because i think most people dont really understand what stimulus means and the fact that that generation will be paying for it for decades to come. Dagen young people who have the choice of two septonogerians. Mark morgan joins us next. Plus, ballgame bust, why President Trump wont be throwing out the first pitch at the yankees. Stay with us. Unrest erupting across the country, Portland Police arresting two people in connection to a reported shooting last night near the citys main protest site. This on the 60th straight night of protests and unrest. Lets its rioting in the oregon city. Its violence and its rioting. Maria bartiromo smoke with acting secretary of Homeland Security, chad wolf, on sunday morning futures, about the situation there. Maria this is going on every night, that portland looks like baghdad and they are pushing back on officers. These people can go all the way up to the fence and the perimeter and throw bricks at officers. What are you going to do about it . Absolutely, well, i will say that were working very, very closely with the department of justice, the fbi, as well as others and i will say that were going to have additional actions probably as early as this week. We cannot continue to let Law Enforcement officers targeted and injured night after night after night. I think its very important that americans and your viewers understand whats going on in portland is Violent Crime every single night. Again, im asking the city, the state, to step up, do their job, work with federal Law Enforcement and lets bring this to a peaceful conclusion. Dagen meantime, oakland, california also hit hard as individuals there set fire to the Alameda County courthouse late saturday night. The mayor warning that the unrest could justify the deployment of federal agents to the city which she has resisted. Joining us now, u. S. Customs and Border Protection acting commissioner, mark morgan. Good to see you. We could go through the list of cities that saw violence over the weekend including new york city, unrest here. In terms of the federal governments role, to which cities do you see more federal agents being added, whether to protect federal property or to assist, say, in a chicago the investigative part of what the police there are doing . So what are you seeing in terms of deployment of federal agents . Dagen, thats a good question. We need to separate two things happening. One is the violence and anarchy against federal property. Thats going to require one response. Thats what youre seeing in portland and seattle. Versus the increased crime thats going on in chicago and kansas city and other states and cities. Thats going to require special agents and other federal officers to work with state and locals, specifically to address Violent Crime. Thats not what were seeing in portland. The secretary is spoton. Were going to go wherever the threat tells us we need to go and keep in mind, it wasnt that long ago in oakland, we had sps officer Patrick Underwood that was shot and killed and another one wounded. This is serious and people need to separate peaceful protests from the criminal anarchy thats going on. Dagen that was one thing i wanted to bring up. You say the fps, the federal protective service, one component of the department of Homeland Security. A lot of the pushback you get from the left and even some people, many people that according to the fps mission statement, Andy Mccarthy writes about this on foxnews. Com last week, it includes the protection of u. S. Government infrastructure, services, and the people who provide and receive them. This is in the authority of the federal protective service. So anybody who tries to suggest that this is federal government overreach, this is the very duty of these divisions of government and these officers. Dagen, youre right. I read the oped. Andy, as always, hes spot on. Title 40, usc1350 doesnt ask the secretary, it directs the secretary to protect federal facilities. We have 9,000 in the United States. We had credible intelligence in portland they were going to attack the building. Thats why we put Additional Resources there. Of course, what happened . They did just that. Thats an important distinction that American People need to understand. We have a statutory responsibility to be there and thats what were doing. Dagen andy was speaking in part directly Andy Mccarthy, to tom ridge, the first Homeland Security secretary who referred to the president s personal militia, having to explain to him the way government actually works and the power these agents and these divisions of the government have, so we wont go there. I want to get this. So gun violence in chicago, there are an additional, what, 200 agents that are being sent or have been sent to chicago to rein in the outofcontrol violence. Those individuals sent there because violence is worsening. Mayor Lori Lightfoot said over the weekend that the city, is quote, inundated with guns from outside of illinois, citing a 2017 gun trace report that 60 of the citys illegal guns come from across state lines. Light foot said President Trump should enact gun control if he wants to help the plagued city. I will point out, she said we are being inundated with guns from states that have no gun control, no background checks, no ban on assault weapons, that is hurting cities like chicago. But what about the places that those guns are allegedly coming from . Why isnt there like runaway violence and murder in those streets . Why . Dagen, thats a good question. Look, im not going to be pulled into her political narrative. But what i can tell you, this is exactly what the president s doing. Hes sending in Additional Resources to augment the federal folks that are already there working with city, state and local Law Enforcement every day to try to address the increase in violence. This is exactly what we should be doing. We should be talking about coming together, sharing information, working together, Law Enforcement, not defund Law Enforcement. Thats one of the absolute travesties of the narrative thats going on right now. Dagen its what you hear from people who are out protesting in chicago. Some diss how, de somehow defunding the police is going to make murder go away in that city . Also, about the federal Law Enforcement agents working with the state and local authorities, its worked before. It worked here in new york city when Rudy Giuliani was the federal prosecutor. They would have dea agents working with the state police and the nypd, going into kind of hot beds of activity like in Hells Kitchen because about 80 of gang crime is drug crime. Drug crime is a federal crime and you can actually have its a racketeering enterprise. You can have the feds come in and charge these crimes, say charge murder in a federal court and you wind up getting a longer sentence because of that. I want to move on to this, though. Law enforcement under attack, you were mentioning this, there were 59 Police Officers injured in seattle over the weekend in clashes with protesters. These are anarchists. Theyre violent demonstrators. While Law Enforcement in richmond, virginia, faced rocks from protesters. In portland protesters threw metal spikes to target the vehicles of Law Enforcement. How dangerous is this for people in Law Enforcement, mark, and why do the democrats seem to stand behind this disorder and violence . You know, dagen, i dont understand it. All i can see, theyre putting politics over Public Safety and specifically safety of the brave men and women who are out there doing their statutory responsibility that weve asked them to do. Make no mistake, it is dangerous out there and it has been every night. We need to make a distinction from the Peaceful Protesters to the criminals and anarchists that take over the protests every night. They are organizing with the willful intent to destroy federal property and harm federal officers. And theyre bringing weapons every night with that intent. Its absolutely disgusting. We should be united to stop this instead of encouraging them. Dagen mark, before we go, are there any other cities where you expect federal agents will be deployed, in one of two ways, either to protect federal property, also to work in coordination with state and local Law Enforcement in an investigative role . Look, thats a great question. We are continuing to work with our state and local partners. We have not seen the resis tansz anywhere else like resistance like we have anywhere else like we have in portland. I dont want to get too far ahead of our operational requirements, i can guarantee if we have intelligence that federal property will be targeted, we will be there to help the federal protective service do their job. Dagen mark, great to see you. Thank you so much for being here. Coming up, everybody, what do we have . Well be right back. vo since our beginning, our business has been people. And their financial wellbeing. Its evident in good times, with decisions focused on the longterm. And crucial when circumstances become difficult. That continued emphasis on people our advisors, associates, clients and communities gives us purpose, strength and a way forward. Today. And always. Dagen a trend counseling for education amid the uncertainty over school reopenings. Lauren larn halauren simonetti. Most parents are nervous about sending kids to school, also teaching them at home. Some are opting for whats called micro schoolings, a coop of four to 12 kids, socially distanced in a garage or room in a familys house. You stick with the same pod and rotate the hosting home so they can free up the parents so they can work. Some requires parents teach and others are hiring educators. A group called Friendly Minds are charging family 250 to get into the pod and up to 80 colors an hour to hire 80 an hour to hire a teacher. A recent survey shows 44 of parents are dissatisfied with the education their child received at the end of last school year and are worried about falling behind so theyre opening their wallets, spending money on virtual supplements, online classes from a program called out school surged in popularity. Republican lawmakers to unveil coronavirus stimulus plan today expected to cost one trillion dollars, Liability Protection for businesses, 1200 dollars in updates to americans, money for additional testing as well as 100 billion dollars going to schools, and universities. Joining us now, pennsylvania congressman member of the house foreign afifrz Committee House Judiciary Committee guy reschenthaler, congressman, great to see you, what about that 600 dollars extra that people are receiving every week, in jobless benefits . That is Sticking Point are you going to leave americans without extra money. Thanks for having me on i pressure it lets talk about extra 600 a week in payments a drag on economy what it is doing, incentivizing people not to go back to work those going back to work employers having to pay well over fair market wages, to incentivize folks to come back to work that is dragging the economy down, the plan unveiled today, is going to provide 70 of what somebody would make if going back to work, so if individual wants dpra 30 they have to go back to work i am supportive of that, of course, there is direct stimulus payments to individuals, that is outside the Unemployment Compensation so i think a good starting point we also have money going to schools, in individuals, are parents will have choice to take voucher send children, kids to schools that are open, will incentivize schools open, open safely i think a good starting point, one trillion dollars, the far left, social justice democrats want four trillion dollars in spending so lets see where this goes. Dagen respectfully, the republicans, you guys gallons waiting so long, though that 600 dollars per week even if cut to 70 , of what you would be make on the job you waited so long, that these benefits are probably going to disappear for Million Dollars of americans, the democrats will tell you that they passed a 3 1 2 this is in the house a 3 1 2 trilliondollar bill, additional stimulus passed in may what took you so long. I would say that bill the democrats passed in may there was passed pretty much along party lines nothing more than a messaging bill, it was a bunch of far left radical ideas way for democrats to take advantage of this situation pandemic, cram the green new dealing provisions far left eleft socialists 600 pefr week was expiring the end of this month benefits disappeared over the weekend, many states, so where were you in june, and most of july . Well we were trying to get the democrats to come to a reasonable position, but nancy pelosi is a speaker of the house not Kevin Mccarthy, if Kevin Mccarthy were speaker we would have had something reasonable comey old school he call me Old School Republican i think the best way to get economy on track reducing taxation regulation, that reduces the burden on businesses, and he incentivizes of businesses to grow hire more get back on track you cant get economy back by not having tax tax cuts by throwing regulation more regulation on business that is why the republican plan provides for Liability Protections is a good starting point, i would like to see payroll tax cuts, i would like to see restriction in Corporate Income tax personal income tax as well but, unfortunately, weve got to negotiate with far left democrats, that control the house of representatives. I am not getting behind trillions of dollars additional spending fully acknowledge roughly more than twothirds based on University Chicago research more than twothirds individuals collecting Unemployment Benefits are receiving more in unemployment than they received on the job, i acknowledge that. But but, again, are where were the republicans in the senate that really needed to craft something, in order to provide some he certainty for the american individual families who cant go back to work, because the their economy is still potentially shut down in some way because of this virus maria speaking to senate Maria Bartiromo talked to senator Lindsey Graham on sunday morning futures had this to say about support for covid19 relief. All are we going to see you pass something before the Senate Leaves on august 8th what is the conversation now about those Unemployment Benefits, will go away on july 31 . So a republicans are going to vote no to any final for you package a fact democrats are going to insist on three trill way too much we have aed monday i am confident President Trump will lead us to a solution where we have money for kids, jobs and health care, we need to is it stimulate the economy, we need to phase four i think we will come together before august 5th to get this done. Dagen congressman reaction to that . Have to well, i think Lindsey Graham is right, but a lot of people are hesitant to vote for another four for four trillion more dollars at the end of the day, this debt we are carrying it is a tax on future generations. It is also going to inprohibit growth forward before we spend four trillion dollars get away with one trillion dollars, but lets also make sure that schools are safely reopening, so when the jobs come back open, parents feel comfortable leaving they wont have to stay home with kids lets making sure we get vouchers in place make sure we have Liability Protections so business are not facing lawsuits for reopening, so there is a lot going on right now. It is complex but at the end of the day, weve got to incentivize that weve got to incentivize businesses to reopen again i petition for tax cuts, at least a break on payroll tax cut unfortunately payroll taxes unfortunately, that has been taken off the table already. It has been . Congressman good to see you guy reschenthaler thanks for being here monday coming up china ceo miller weighing in on tensions in china as u. S. Consulate in chengdu closes. Futures pointing to gains this morning, are triple digit on dow futures 120 points to 24 points to the plus side on the dow, this ahead of a big earnings week and Economic Data one dozen dow components report this week some Major Companies pfizer mickey ds boeing apple exxon joining me wells fargo sr. , Global Market strategist scott wren what are you watching is it earnings, is it what companies are saying about hiring a road ahead. Well, dagen, i think you know earnings season, results are what happened in the past we want to look forward normally you get, some guidance out of these but as we know a lot of s p 500 companies have pulled guidance, really for the most part the other ones that are giving you a little guidance are being very conservative so i am not so sure that if were getting valuable information from the guidance, so earnings, it is it is meaningful as always but hey we know going to be bad nice market expecting 40, 45 down as a little bit better than that right now, i am not expecting a whole heck of a lot of guidance out of what were seeing here. Really this week, there is a couple things i am interested to see what gdp is going to be really the orders for durable goods, you know is that always a good gauge of Business Capital spending not expecting a whole lot it would be nice to have a little bit i think gdp number is really going to grab the attention expectations are so wide out there we are looking for minus 29 i think that is a a little bit better than consequence anything from minus 20 to minus 45 out there for the range, so there is a lot going on this week, and i think the markets probably going to be a little bit volatile all in all, this virus news is the most important as we look ahead. Jon lonski jump in. Lets get to the point do you think the market right now is grossly overvalued fairly valued would you buy or hold . For us right here 32. 50 yearend target s p 500 fair value maybe a little bit ahead, as we look out through yearend 2021 weve got 3500 anybody out there, so, for us, you know we want to be in this, we think we are going to have some opportunities to buy at lowe levels because really if you look at Retail Investors in general they have a lot of cash, they have missed a lot really in the last 10 years certainly missed a lot of big bounce that weve had off march 23 low that iss what were trying to encourage clients to do bigdown weeks big down days you need to have a plan you need to step in look at tech consumer discretionary, communications services, health care, those types of sectors, i think those are the ones likely to carry us forward as we recovery in 2021. I love gold the smell of it the taste of it. That is gold i dont love gold clearly people do scott, hitting alltime high record high near 2,000 dollars an ounce what is your take . Well i can tell you our commodities guys have been on this theyve been right i am not a gold expert at all but this is a touch above where we thought it was going to finish the year but if we look through 2021 that is what were trying to give clients longer view rather than what is happening next six months because anything can happen really but over next year and a half, our Commodities Group looking for 2,200 to 2300 gold bullish on it i think probably jumped a little bit quicker than when we is expected pricing in here not a surprise overall face it overnight move a big move like that one day doesnt happen often in gold clearly this is a moment on story. Great to see you. Thank you so much. Thanks dagen. Take care, coming up unrest in america, portland chaos stretches into day 60 look at that is coming up ahead. Blocking protesters from a Police Precinct mainly peaceful different than one day before. [bleep]. [bleep]. Dagen Seattle Police releasing body cam video of saturdays riots police say they were hit by rocks Water Bottles explosives, 59 officers injured, 47 people were arrested, lee i think we have to stop calling this approachabilitiesh protests they are an arcists riots by anarchists, criminals, and why more people around the arrested i have no idea. I think a really important Distinction Police in Portland Seattle said these are not protests these are riots classified as riots important to understand when you are protest one thing riots very different language very important that used potentially a really, really bad state of affairs this isnt about being political this is mayors they are democratic run cities mitch if antitrump seem to get a pass from people on the left. The images arent necessarily the same when you go from newspaper to newspaper or Cable News Network to Cable News Network i think lee is absolutely right they are what they are they are riots they are violence bad people here. Everyone electorate needs to know the truth about what is going on. Yp around the large were corporations based in say a seattle like a starbucks, microsoft owed seattle amazon yes, sir arent ceos leader there getting on horn calling saying put a stop to this were not going to sit by watch businesses being destroyed a local economy, being decimated watch people get injured in the streets, where are you why dont they do that oh that is right they dont want to get in the middle of politics coming up china facebook ceo here to talk about the growing threat of china, what were doing about it u. S. Consulate in chengdu closed, gains at open june durable goods orders out in moments. Stay with us. Accomplishment. I am Dagen Mcdowell for Maria Bartiromo, monday, july 27 we are waiting on june durablegoods orders economists expecting 7. 2 gain, from may, we have the numbers as soon as they hit the type, 114point gain on dow futures, right now. Extransportation expecting a gain, cheryl take it away. Cheryl all right. Lets go through these numbers first the durable goods number monthovermonth expectation was a gain 7. , slight beat 7. 3 , this nowhere near previous anybody, that we got that was 15. 7 that was really that pentup demand from shutdown. U. S. Economy strip out transportation if you strip out transports airplanes things like that, trains, you get a gain of 3. 3 that is to the upside that is a little bit below the estimate of 3. 5 . Anyway so that is a little bit below what we were expecting there, if you look at machine orders up 2. 7 Electrical Equipment a gain 1. 2 defensive aircraft a big loss strip out of 30. 6 that is actually a downside number again pretty much steady on dow right now this is basically, you know, the pretty much in line with expectations. Dagen. So that is breaking news on u. S. Economy, one more thing do i want to look at before i send it back to you dagen core capital goods monthovermonth that was better than expected the gain 3. 3 , expectation was 2. 3 so really it is just if you take out transports that was that we got. Dagen thank you so much this is two straight months durablegoods orders increase, after manufacturers ramping up production after shutdowns jon reaction to this. Well, i focused on that betterthanexpected reading core capital goods orders, that tells us perhaps investment spending at start of recovery, by the way, i think faired much better during covid19 recession compared to Great Recession that brings attention to how this current recession is very different from past recessions, and that the Service Sector is suffering the most, far more than manufacturing is. Dagen agent mit mitch reaction. Buried in a good way could be arrival of manufacturing i think a lot of companies realized how vulnerable supply chain was not just china but to other parts of the world i think as we begin to manufacture, and asem ble at home more investment in cal goods to enable that i think a nice Silver Lining in numbers even though they were, you know, slightly above below expectations. Dagen thank you so consulate turnover u. S. Officials clearing out of chengdu china after doing the same in houston, texas last week tensions rise between beijing washington chinese researcher arrested by u. S. Authorities hiding out in San Francisco consulate after allegedly lying to investigators about Chinese Military service her hearing today joining me china beige book ceo Leland Miller, tensions, worsening where do we go from here . Well, believe it or not, we are in middle of a bit of a calm in the relationship. So things sound nasty but a lot of rhetoric going backandforth between sides hasnt been anything including consulate shutdown that escalated to next step i think both sides focused on pandemic economic Recovery Associated with pandemic i think this is about about to change probably soon as next month, the phase one trade deal, i think is in real trouble right now, you have a situation where if you lose that you start moving into fall you move into runup to election centered very much around china policy, potential for this to get much, much worse. So next several months. What would you be on the lookout for . Have well i think number one trade deal, and the reason it is so important is that the trade deal so some degree kept two sides in line President Trump if he watches purchases has to making sure to keep some more antichina people in tough on china people in congress at bay this falls by way side then going to be a scrum not just republican side but democrats side to see who can look tougher on china in november this is really the the bellwether for the fall. I want to get to this mysterious seeds from China Agriculture departments from four states warning people not to plant these seeds in case they are invasive speeds could endangering live crops they appear to have been mailed in white pouches splaying chinese lettering the words china post what do you know about this i know what i have read about this which is probably just yet another scam out of china, this is the first stage of biological warfare pretty stupid time to be doing it if you get seeds from china dont plant there are laws against those type of seeds coming into the country she this be enforced a lot is coming to amazon needs to tighten policies i look at things like this i think, there is much more chance you are seeing a couple guys in china trying to make few bucks than anything systemic for from beijing ip. Maria spoke with cochairman ray dalio on sunday morning futures yesterday about what investors need to think about before working with Chinese Companies your reaction. I know that you are a global investor, and you look for growth across the world would you still want to invest in china given what we have learned about the communist party . I think there are three things three big things going on, and they operate together, and those are the important ones, the first is where we are in the deabt cycle printing of money and that second is how we are with each other that we are having an ideological civil war the rising power of china challenging the existing power. We are in a conflict with china i can call it war like 1930s so that there is a there is a trade war there is a technology war, there is a geopolitical war and there could be a capital war. Dagen leland what do you say to that . Well, i i broadly agree with it i think one of the things left unsaided there that idea decoupling flipping on, off switch a lot of degrees are involved Companies Looking at vulnerabilities in supply chain realize they have to do something about that when we lost leland. But, you know, who can pick up that mot Mitch Roschelle has done so much work on it will vulnerability supply chains go. Most apparent in all this how dependent we are for china for pharmaceuticals. And i think that the real interesting play here may be you know, no one talking about, usmca where they should be have administration put that deal together, how we would deftly source in north America Supply chain for pharmaceuticals, and other vital elements for not just manufacturing but just for our lives so i think the real story here is that the Administration Made that deal, and if we can get our act together with china, excuse me mexico and canada, we really could have less reliance on china that could be a very strong um sign for our economy Going Forward. Politically lee carter strongest message out of President Trump when he was running for the highest office in the land was speaking to all of those americans, who had lost their jobs, their livelihoods, had lost the safety net they had with the company they worked for, because those jobs were shipped to other countries, particularly china. Over a period of decades. Does that still stand up here . You are really not hearing that specific message from the president as much as four years ago. You know what is interesting before pandemic hit the president was very much running on promises made promises kept you remember what he ran on it was china it was jobs, it was the economy, it was bringing manufacturing back hope to people who had loss it starting to talk about how he brought back jobs got tough on china i think the president does need to start repeating that message it is really, really important to American People and the number one issue that is most important to americans right now is jobs is the economy, and part of that is getting tough on china so i think he does need to be i think china narrative has sort of gotten away from him frankly it is time he takes that back if he wants to get stronger on this as he gets quick lee, so the tagline from joe biden is build back better reminds me of a childrens pook when i was literal called the book big brown bear, blowing bubbles, black bug banana box i have been wanting to say that on tv i digress, in terms of build back better does that resonate with people . I know it is a lot of alliteration from anchors i dont know what that means are we building black the china where we laid down let that communist company roll over us. I think interesting, there was so much criticism about donald trump being make America Great again like going back, right now about making it better, so i think that there is going to be a lot of pushback on this i think you are right the question what does it mean one thing the president said when make America Great five policies everybody knew what they were said them over and over again were not sure what build back better means he has to define it in very, very clear 2er78z. Lee carter thank you coming up fleeing hightech blue state joe rogan setting sights on texas treat for heart a study shows how eating chocolate can lower your risk of Heart Disease. You are watching mornings with maria live on fox business. Thank you baby, yeah to be loved by you. Great to see you, i have heard this before, but this is new. Dagen what they did was fea conduct a study parents to sun blocs to 57 body tested levels of chemicals oxybenzone, the first ingredients the back of sunscreens checked bloodstream found chemicals stayed in their system for up to 21 days, the problem with that is it could potentially be linked with may be harmful effects to the body maybe hormonal disruptions endocrine, potentially links to cancer the American Economy terminology recommends sunscreen safer than potential side effect of sunscreen fda found, two types of sunscreens mirnr mineral and chemical they found mineral deemed safe effective fda approved mineral based sunscreens zincoxide titanium oxide safer you go in sun come in contact with color ryan he could potentially have exposure to toxic chemicals sunscreen not only way to protect from sun you can wear sunglasses proper clothing, stay in the shade, any time you have that opportunity. I just wanting to somewhere in the center of the country, are somewhere easier to travel to both places where you have a little bit more freedom, also i think that where we live right here in los angeles he is over crowded look at economic december pay homelessness problem accelerated radically six, seven, 10 years i think there are tomb people here not tenable. This coming after just days after elon musk announced tesla is going to build its largest auto plant near austin texas jon reaction to this . Well People Companies vote with feet if they dont like tax plan regulatory climate going to leave if tired of riots not staying around look what crime did to once great city of detroit, you have to take all of this into consideration, and, states and cities have to make sure that the average american and businesses feel comfortable that they are willing to grow within those regions. Dagen mitch im going to quote the great poet lovett say that is right you are not from texas, that is right you are not from texas. That is right you are not from texas. Texas wants you anyway. When california has a top marginal income tax rate for individuals, of 13. 3 texas has a zero individual income tax rate i think that is a big cat list foster movement joe did not mention that in remarks but i somehow i think and accountant had a conversation about it part of the motivation as well. Lee what do you make of this i saw something on twitter yesterday, you it was a i guess a g. O. P. Sign pupt in texas saying, you came here dont bring your vote here dont bring your big big assblue vote to this red state essence of the message. I think a fascinating thing to watch look what is happening to florida, texas there is a lot of migration there, from blue states, what is interesting to me that the local government and governors are staying republican even though the states them are moving further in if west in president ial election people want to keep taxes low they need revisit what other value really, with a do they want from economy what do they want from taxes get honest with themselves about what it is they want to do. Space they want space like joe rogan was talking about i totally understand. You are right. Totally than us living in 500 square foot apartment more mornings with maria on fox business live right after this. As business moves forward, were all changing the way things get done. His name was charles and charles met martha. Isnt she pretty . Yeah. Dagen google is said to be keeping employees at home until at least july 2021 as a result of the covid19 pandemic. Thats according to the wall street journal. The move impacts nearly all 200,000 fulltime and contract workers across googles parent company, alphabet. Mitch, your reaction to this . This potentially, as these large Tech Companies maybe spread people out and are able to work from home, it would afford people an opportunity to work at a Big Tech Company in maybe a small red state. Yeah. I do wonder how much of their motivation is to broaden out their access to resources, but if other Companies Follow suit, without the goal of trying to access a wider net for talent pool, i think it could have an impact on commercial real estate which it hasnt happened yet but if we go out that far, less demand for office space. Dagen mitch, thank you so much, sir. And lee carter and john lonski, more with you guys next time. Thank you for being here. Varney company is up now. Stuart, take it away.
