Some of the names are sort of babbling to the top of that, kamala harris, trying to put a boost to his, give life basically to his candidacy here. But, again, the president is the one whos going out now starting to do these rallies. The rally in New Hampshire for tomorrow was canceled because of Tropical Storm fay, but the president is starting to get out there. Youre seeing him in florida, in some of these other places. Joe biden, Vice President , is sort of sticking around his house in delaware at this time. He has come out of the basement there, but he is staying around and not doing the rally type thing. Hes proposing 7. 4 billion in new taxes and that would inevitably i mean, in new incentives, in new spending. And that would inevitably mean more taxes. This think tank calling it the most or the largest influx of Public Investment money since world war ii. Talking about a lot of spending here, and youve got to be able to curtail that and pay for it with the spending weve already done thats necessary to get us out of the coronavirus. Elizabeth yeah. Reporter if you add both of those together, its a huge amount of money. Elizabeth and stay on the coronavirus for a second because the Vice President , biden, is trying to attack the president on the covid19 response. But politico writing a story saying, wait a second, the Obama Administrations swine flu response in 2009 was not state of the art, was not pictureperfect. They shut down testing flat out in the middle of it. A biden adviser now, he was with the Biden Administration saying they got lucky. They missed, quote, a mass casualty event with swine flu in 2009. Im not, you know, the question is can joe biden go after the president on covid19 when the Obama Administration is getting attacked for poor vaccine response, stopping funding, stopping testing for swine flu in 2009 . And you saw that on the screen. You guys are are showing that the Obama Administration just abruptly stopped testing for h1n1 in the swine flu. And that would inevitably lower the numbers that you have related to the number of cases, you know, falling short of a pandemic for the swine flu. But, you know, experts around the globe point back to h1n1, also the swine flu both coming out of china to the rest of the world as something, you know, as sort of a framework that they look at how the coronavirus which is more, which is more, it spreads more quickly and possibly could be more deadly than those two. But, again, they look back at that and they see that, you know, the pandemic sort of, it comes through countries like this, and it depends on how open and honest those countries are. I dont think many people think anything out of Schiff Adam Schiff says. Remember all the things he told us that he was going to prove during the whole trumprussia, during the whole impeachment, during all those, both of those hoaxes, both of those sagas. And, you know, here we go again. Actually, you know, if you follow some of the mainstream press, youd think yesterday was a bad day for the president , but in actual terms it really wasnt. Because neither the congress, nor the new York District attorney are going to have access to the president s tax records anytime soon. And so overall, i think in sort of practical terms it wasnt a bad day at all for the president with the Supreme Court. Elizabeth you know, there have been 80, 80 different probes, the subpoena cannon has has been fired by the democrats for a long time. The Supreme Court has said you have to have a legislative reason to get tax returns. Whats a legislative reason for these 80 different proposes that the probes . You know, great point, liz. And that look, the Oversight Authority and power of the congress is broad, and its pretty expansive, but there has to be but it still has to be a legitimate legislative purpose, and you have to counter that. This is what the court talked about, you have to counter that, obviously, with another separate and equal branch of the federal government, i. E. , the executive branch. I thought the court was pretty clear on that, and it told the president that he also has recourse, can go back to court and on other grounds challenge some of the decisions that the court made. So, again, i think it was pretty good. I think its also important to step back and think about what was going on. The average american petrified of being audited by the irs, but what the democrats, if they had their way, its not the irs auditing the president , it would be pelosi, schiff and Maxine Waters auditing the president. And if that is, that is scary when you think about it. So the president exactly right, his Legal Counsel in fighting this. Well see how it all shakes out here down the road. Elizabeth yeah. Theres an important broader context here. Its about abuse of power. Do we want to live in a country where the irs can be used to attack, intimidate and basically threaten political to opponents. I mean, heres the other thing, should only president s have to release their tax returns, or should all lawmakers too . Listen to nancy pelosi on this. If i decided to run for president , i would most certainly release my tax returns. Elizabeth so what do you think of all that . Whats your take the first thing i would say, thats a scary thought. Thats as bad as joe biden. Look, we dont want the federal government going after anybody. We want equal treatment under the law. Remember it was just a few years ago when the Obama Administration used the irs to systematically the same period of time target people who were against obamacare and all the crazy spinning under president obama. They went after tea e party groups. We dont want that. We just lived through, and were still living through this. Michael flynns still not out of the woods with what the obamacomey cabal, the Obama Administration did when they went after the Trump Campaign. Never forget this fact, 38 different people between election day 2016 and Inauguration Day 2017, 38 different people 49 separate times una masked flynns name. Comey, clapper, brennan, biden did it as well. And yet when those people were interviewed under oath in front of the intelligence committee, every single one of them said there was no predicate for launching the information in the first place. So they launched an investigation where they said there was no evidence of collusion or coordination between the Trump Campaign and russia to impact the election, had no evidence of that and yet 49 separate times they unmasked Michael Flynns name, and Michael Flynn has had to live with this for three and a half years and still not out of the woods even though everyone in this country knows hes innocent. Thats how bad this is when you use the government to target people, and thats why john durhams investigation is so darn important. Elizabeth you wonder if Michael Flynn could file an Emotional Abuse case against whats going on. Final word. No, youre exactly right. President trump joining many americans, they are outraged over what universities and colleges are teaching students. Theyre saying, basically, these americans and middle class families are saying our students are in the getting a proper education are not getting a proper education. The president instructing the Treasury Department to reexamine the taxexempt status of universities and colleges claiming too many schools are driven by radical left indoctrination. This is tuition gouging, this is what middle class families are paying for. Lets bring in fox news political analyst Gianno Caldwell. Weve been reporting on this story for years and years, and thats what their complaint has been. Your take on the president s threat here . Well, i think its great to look into these universities. As you may recall, these free speech zones with the case of professors and administrators showing hostility towards conservative students. And in many cases, you saw faculty donating to democratic politicians. We didnt see the situation whereas they were just teaching them history or whats going on in the world, they were giving them an agenda to follow. It wasnt a mere teaching, it was an instruction as to what beliefs to hold. And that becomes problem proble. Yeah, what may be a consideration for President Trump is he can a lot of these Public Schools are largely funded by state and local taxes. So clearly, the federal government can get involved, but how much they can do, we dont know. Elizabeth yeah, i hear you. Lets move on to this story, the republican governor of maryland, larry hogan, he is now criticizing House Speaker nancy pelosi for hes saying theres no place in maryland for lawlessness after nancy pelosi expressed indifference about rioters in baltimore knocking down a statue of Christopher Columbus in her hometown of baltimore. Watch nancy pelosi here. In baltimore, in little italy, a statue of Christopher Columbus was removed or taken down. [inaudible] well, im not a big, you know, i dont even have my grandmothers ear rings. Im not a big, lets see what we have in terms of monuments and that. Im more interested in what people have accomplished. I think that its up to the communities to decide what statues they a want to see. Could that be done by city council, not in the middle of the harbor . People do what they do. Elizabeth okay. Governor hogan, gianno, says theres no place for lawlessness. This was Government Property that taxpayers paid for. Your reaction . Yeah, absolutely correct. And for nancy pelosi to really provide room for people to interpret her comments, oh, however they come down, they come down. Its really fortunate for her. Ive got a dear friend of mine who put together a petition to have a particular statue come down, and thats the way you do it. The Community Comes together and you say what you want to be there, what you want the taxpayer dollars to maintain and what you dont. This idea that you can just go smash down a statue because you feel like it, and in a lot of cases the people dont even know who the individuals are. And in some cases, these are individuals who fought against slavery, yet youre smashing them down and defacing property . Thats the problem. And people should go to jail for that. Elizabeth yeah, that is a problem. Right. I want to, i want to show this footage of what happened in columbus, ohio. Police officials there are asking for help. Dozens, by the way, there have been dozens of people still to protest the riots. A man driving a car, he had cerebral palsy. The dreier of this car the driver of this car disabled. Rioters pulled open the doors of his car and his trunk, they threw a bicycle at the back of his car. The police are still trying to find the people who attacked this disabled individual, frying to basically trying to basically continue on with his day. Look at that footage. Mayor de blasio is canceling all large events in new york city, hes letting protesters continue marching through city streets. There are 20 cities moving to cut budgets for the police. All of these cities are democratrun, all except san diego. Lets show the list to the viewers. Gianno, take this on, cities moving to cut police budgets, because we always have a big movement taking hold in seven states, back the police, back the badge, back the blue. Your reaction. I think that it disenfranchises people who im from chicago, and people are legitimately afraid. Theyre afraid that theyre not going to be able to get the help that they need. And i think President Trump, his Reelection Committee did a campaign ad on what defunding the police may look like. Now, theres been over 19 cities who have defunded the police or reallocated funds. We know in new york they cut a billion dollars from the police department. But i the people of the United States of america do not favor it. I pew did a Research Study which said 42 percent of americans wanted funding to stay the same. 31 of americans want to see that funding increased. We also know that in the city of new york and other places as well, in the city of new york retirements are up 411 , 503 cops have retired at least thus far. So what do you get when you defund the police . You get communities that are, have the thugs, they take over. Theres lawlessness and no ones safe. So this is one of the most radical and stupid experiments that ive ever heard of. And for joe biden to have to come out very clear and tough, joe said he would [inaudible] if he becomes president of the United States. Elizabeth now weve got a group of retired cops, the product our police pac if, its devoted to electing propolice candidates. I mean, they should. As people may know, i was a spokesperson for one of the Largest Police groups in the country, so perhaps im a little biased because i support the police. I want to be safe. So they absolutely should and, you know, we need to reform the police, i dont want to leave that out. But at the same time, defunding the police is a horrible idea. Liz, we certainly know that our Founding Fathers and people who let led our country through great trials like abe a hamlin con and ulysses s. Grant abraham lincoln, certainly were flawed individuals. Im not going to include in that because he was the son of god. Lincoln was not and so was grant. But ill tell you one thing washington especially did, he didnt want to become a king. He didnt want the absolute power. He gave up the presidency after two terms and went back to his his his farm, and he did free his slaves before he died. Certain actions by our Founding Fathers and by our leaders are certainly not what we would want, but many of them are good. And lets focus on the good things that people did and not get this cancel culture that really tries to rewrite history because of some small or some defect that they have. They werent perfect, and lets leave it at that. Elizabeth yeah. Its a fast track to losing your credibility. I mean, hes criticizing it really is. I mean, my hometown of chicago has had a hundred shootings, has had kids killed on the sidewalk doing just normal play, and people come by and shoot em. There was an incident in new york where some car, some guy stuck a gun out a car and shot somebody in broad daylight. A young 5yearold was murdered right in their front yard in San Francisco the other day. What are these guys doing . Are they too busy endorsing bill de blasios effort to paint black lives matter on the front of the trump tower . Are these stunts that are going on, lets do something, lets not let criminals out of jail, lets make sure that we educate our kids in the inner cities so they dont turn to crime. These are the positive things, liz, that i would hope that a we would all focus on instead of this craziness. I really believe that the democrats are overplaying their hand here, liz are. This defund the police movement, this idea of letting people out of jail who are repeated. Criminals is just ridiculous, and the voters are going to remember this. Just like 1972 men nixon roll when nixon rolled to a landslide over george mcgovern, you know, then as now the democrats overplayed their hands. They wanted everybody let out of jail, and i theys going to result in a massive i thinks going to result in a massive loss for them. Well, what i know is that our military commanders on the ground did not think that it was as serious a problem as the newspapers were reporting and television was or reporting. Finish it got kind of out of control before we really had an understanding of what had happened. Its our commanders that deal with this kind of a threat. Using intelligence that was given to them by the Intelligence Community. But that has to be analyzed, it has to be adjusted, and then you have to go find where the enemy is. And i know from my own experience having served three years in combat zones those starts of battlefield interrogations from especially taliban if fighters, theyre often interested more in influencing than they are in informing. The administration, the Intelligence Community did the right thing. They disseminated what was duty to our soldiers on the front lines and Coalition Forces immediately, and then before taking any policy action, they sent out requirements so that the Intelligence Community could collect intelligence and determine the veracity of this reporting. The last thing you want to do is expel russian officials or pile on the sanctions before you actually confirm what was going on. Elizabeth yeah. Weve got defense secretary mark esper and general mark milley, the chair of the joint chiefs of staff, testifying to congress that u. S. Defense intelligence agencies could not corroborate the New York Times story, they dont believe any american troops were killed. Also we have the top general in the mideast command, kenneth mcken key, saying the same thing mckenzie. Theres little authenticity, not a lot of intelligence to support it. Your reaction to that. I would say thats not surprising to me. It also wouldnt be surprising if it were true. I mean, the russians have been providing training and small arms to the taliban for years, and their doing it so that they can gain some influence in an area where theyre competing, frankly, with pack tan and china and iran pakistan and china and iran for influence. I will say that what russias doing in afghanistan pales in comparison to pakistan which has provided safe haven to the taliban and is impeding our mission in afghanistan to a far greater extent that russia ever could. Kt, Christopher Steele, the guy who was paid by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the democrats to dig up political opposition dirt on trump, again, he was paid by then, he testified to that British Court that basically, you know, he was doing that, Hillary Clinton campaign had hired him to dig up dirt because why . Because they planned to fight and challenge a 2016 election if trump won and hillary lost. So thats the key. The democrats got the fbi to fall for his Opposition Research to spy on the trump team. Thats the broad goal, and the fbi knew it. The fbi knew in july 2016. Lets show it to the viewer what the fbi was told by Christopher Steele that, yeah, he was getting paid by the democrats. And the other thing is once it didnt work, once Hillary Clinton and donald trump won in 2016, for that three month period between the election and the transition, i worked for President Trump at trump tower. And it was very clear that there were no violations, nothing wrong was done. Even the fbi in documents has come out and said general flynn didnt do anything wrong, nobody did anything wrong. And yet when the fbi came, tap, tap, tap, knocking on my door nine months later, what were they talking about . Wrongdoing that general flynn had done. So the whole thing stinks to high heaven. It stinks that there was something to influence the 2016 election, and it really stinks if it was after the election that people decided we dont like donald trump, we dont like the result of that election, were just going to get rid of him. Thats an internal coup by the highest levels of the intention community. Intelligence community. Elizabeth yeah. And james comey testified to congress in the summer of 2017 that there was no active investigation into trumprussia collusion at the fbi. When he left, James Clapper indicated the same, that they didnt have the goods. Lisa page and peter strzok said the same, but they went ahead with the mueller probe. Final word, kt. Yeah. Those guys were going to congress in closed sessions raising their hand, taking an oath saying there was no collusion, there was nothing there. And what did they do after that .
