A small portion,less than a quarter are not doing well, stocks are being brought along for the ride. Stuart would it true to say that if any viewers hold stock in mutual fund or certainly in a stock index, theyve got a piece of the trillion dollar club . Oh, absolutely, all of the big mutual funds have all of the Big Companies, they have to have them and unless mandate is otherwise, their job is to actually do better than the s p 500 as institutional investors, thats how they are measured, in order to do that, you have to own all of those Big Companies that are success producing profits and stocks are rising, yes, all major mutual funds and all the big etfs especially the path and index funds, all owned those Big Companies. Stuart well over 3 years since the election and youve been on the show all of the 3 years, youve always said this market is likely to keep going up, you still feel that sense of excitement, shar . I absolutely do, you look at earnings, they are very good, 77 as of friday of s p that reported. 67 had had positive revenue beat. Stuart okay, they are firing up applause machine, when the bell start ringing they start trading and that happens in literally, 4, 3, 2, 1, we are running. There is open and already we are up 85 points, 92 points, look at level, though, intriguing to me, 29,300, thats where we are. It does want to go up and proof of that is how much money is coming into the market, investors are optimistic, last week we saw 23 and a half billion dollars come in into equity mutual funds and etfs, most of the money will be going to path of investing funds, these are index funds that are following the big cap stocks that are following the leadership stocks, we are seeing the wonderful momentum continue, the only thing in my opinion, the coronavirus spreading and theres not being full attention drawn to that in terms of investors looking at that, investors are looking at that as they probably should right now but a lot gets turned upside down if you dont have a resolution, i dont think theres a vaccine within a year according to what i read from Harvard Research study, as long as cases start to diminish and reported infections is reduced and start to reverse the market is in the right place, if not the market as profit taking a hit. Overnight in china we had the beijing, state department saying that its an economic crisis with the coronavirus, stark words here but i feel that china is trying to basically add stimulus to the economy which is helping these rallies that we are seeing in the stock markets, right . Stuart they admit they have an economic crisis on their hands and they are pumping in the money and its helping us. Overnight the state Technology Group saying that we will help Technology Companies get better length to their manufacturers and the supply chains and make sure they actually stay in the country. This is a very tense important Inflection Point for china as a global manufacturer because of china is what represents 50 of iphone production and one and a half trillion Dollar Company sees this impact bottom line and start moving jobs outside of china, this could have a longterm permanent impact. Stuart would zillow be a good buy . Yes, its been a good buy, i think its too pricey for me because its near 2week high anded that tremendous run. I think its high to my liking, ill probably look at it at a dip, considerable dip. If youre optimistic about the economy which i am optimistic about housing which i am, yeah, you want to go further in the stock, probably has more to go, for me i look at price value and i think its a little bit expensive for me in here. Stuart okay, next up is walmart, they reported disappointing holiday sales and they there was some statement about stores in china and reopening of the stores is slow right now with limited hours and they say that might like 175 other companies coronavirus might impact their sales and profits Going Forward especially in the First Quarter of this year, but the price is telling something in the markets, take a look at market yesterday, take a look at apple, very small declines given what we would usually see in terms of reactions when we warn markets we will not make as much money. Stuart okay, is walmart reacting to the virus scare . Yes, its definitely reacting to virus scare. I tried to find research how much of walmart revenue comes from china and how much of their product that are sold elsewhere comes from china, i got some numbers 26 and 37 and i couldnt verify any of them, those are pretty high numbers, i think investors are right to look at whats happening in china, they have almost 500 stores there walmart does and last year committed to pass another 500 stores, they look at china as growth area, obviously thats the right move to make but right now i think whats going to happen in china is going to pull their stock down a little, im a little cautious here on walmart, i love the company longterm, but china is definitely going to have an impact. Stuart stock that i was going to buy but never did, we are talking uber, they, in fact, i was thinking about buying at 31. 32. You would have made a lot of money. Stuart but i didnt, i let it go. If you look at the people without symptoms, or minimal symptoms, then the denominator of that equation becomes much greater, which means that the actual fatality rate is probably closer to one or less than it is two.
