President affectionate of his base and the other side who leads them socialist or a billionaire, wall street journal poll, the democrat race has tilted heavily to socialist, Bernie Sanders, hes got 27 support. The fading joe biden is essentially tied with newcomer Mike Bloomberg, the president s approval record hits new high for the poll, 47 tonight it really is mustsee splitscreen tv, all right, we will get to your money, of course, not quite as exciting as politics, chinas government says theres a slowing in rate of new infections for the second day, less than 2,000 new cases reported but beijing still has, you might call it credibility problem, 3 wall street journal reporters kicked out of the country objective voices gone. Anyway, the dow will be up about 80, s p up about 10 and nasdaq another nice gain, already at new high, up another half percentage point. Rally all across the board. Now, just wait till you see tesla stock, im showing it to you now, if you bet against it, you are losing your shirt today, Varney Company is about to begin. Stuart i know it, i know it. We are playing waking up in vegas. Good production there. The democrats, of course, take the stage in las vegas tonight. To me, i think its bernie versus bloomberg, thats the debate, thats my opinion, lets see if liz peek, Fox News Contributor agrees with me. I know you do. Who wins . Bloomberg or sanders . Who winning . Look, incredible important night for Mike Bloomberg because up until now voters have seen glossy ads across the country, 400 million which he has spent, incredible number more than any other candidates combined. Now its the real person, now talk about stop and frisk and talk about the comments that he made, disparaging of women and talked about why hes supporting charter schools, dont think those other 5 people are not going to go after him from the opening bell because they certainly will, they know that his unlimited checkbook is an unbelievable asset in this race as much as decry, billionaires and millionaires, millionaires not so bad anymore because everyone is one except Pete Buttigieg as he reminds us, the truth is they will go after they will go after Bernie Sanders because hes the front runner. Stuart i think bloomberg has terrific advisers, hes paid bought and paid for a lot. Stuart i think hes going after Bernie Sanders. We know hes in the race because he doesnt like what Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders have talked about in economic policy, thats why he wanted to be a candidate. The real question, frankly the first question id ask him, you have promised to support with your billions anybody who is in the race if youre not the candidate, you are so eager to beat donald trump, is it a good idea to beat donald trump and put in socialist programs which you know are going to hurt american workers, that should be the question that comes out first because that is so hypocritical in my view and people should really challenge that, my gosh, we have seen in the last week, stuart, so much that he can be challenged on and he will be. Stuart huge. Picture it, on the one side of the screen you have fighting democrats, thats what its going to be. On the other side of the screen you have President Trump with that 47 approval rating. He keeps going from strength to strength even as they impeach him, even as they criticize absolutely every breath he takes and its really, its a phenomenal sort of accent and people understand that policies are working, most stunning poll to me was the one in which 90 to have country said they are satisfied with their personal life which obviously includes their economic situation, 90 , an alltime high, thats not an outlier, every single survey that takes the temperature of americans right now are saying unprecedented goo will and good feeling in the country and yet the democrats say everything is terrible, thats the split screen, the country in good shape or is it the miserable racist the democrats make it to be. Stuart i call it the stock of the day, whats going on here . Tesla is up, what 61 a share, 919 a share as we speak. We have to bring in jack how, the barons guy, can you explain it what the devil is going on . I can explain it with math and story about tesla becoming like apple, the dominant car platform, turning cars into a new kind of thing, if i were tesla at this point i would put the brakes on path to profitability they have been talking about. Stuart wait a second, is that the story, is tesla seen ago standalone outstanding car company that will bring in the computerizization of cars and that makes it is that the story . Is that why its up so much . Seems the company thats going to dominate the automobile trade in the future, thats whats priceded in the stock he. Investors are treating this one like this is the lonethriving company of electric vehicles. A lot of enthusiasm in the stock. Stuart i keep seeing the analysts or observers yeah. Ashley boosted to target about 900, thats why its getting nice boost today. Stuart ive seen 7,000. This is why i mentioned profitability, right, once you become a Profitable Company you have to hit quarterly numbers, youre in walmarts world and thats no fun, before you get there youre a story stock and thats fun and that has endless upside possibilities and i think the thing for tesla to do, they are raising money now by selling new shares, they should milk that as long as they can, vinest, invest like amazon did for years. Stuart give me 20 seconds on this market just wants to go up. If you want to argue with the bubble you look at price to sales ratio, almost as high as it has ever been, if you want to argue fairly priced you look at free clash cash flow, right in the middle. Compare to whats on offer in bonds, better deal relatively to bond deal, theres your whole menu however you want to argue with your friends on where it is. Stuart i think i understand. [laughter] stuart i have more for you, son, let me tell you, check apple, down yesterday, up a buck today, 320, susan, weve got an weve got an apple guy that says well, youve had dan iyes, doesnt change bullish stock and the rest of the markets are bullish on apple for so much and beyond, listen. The only thing in the way was the 15 tariff issue which came away friday, the black cloud, 325 and 350 could be the next step because it comes down to super cycle and in our opinion going to 2020, i5, iphone 11 right now, airpods, if you look at it that continues trend well ahead of expectations. Down 1. 8 yesterday, not terrible given that hitting into the actual session it was down 3 and a half percent and last year when they washed on china sales because doesnt wasnt there on u. S. China trade battle it fell 10 , 1. 8 not a big deal. Stuart not a big deal, got it. Dish, please, they lost what almost 200,000 subscribers in the Fourth Quarter, its really all about cord cutting, looks like the streamers are winning, i cant understand why the stock is up 2 when you lost 200,000 subscribers, no doubt, we will figure it out for you. Check bed, bath beyond, the new chief wants to revitalize the business, hes thinking of decluttering the store. Ashley good. Stuart apparently that means selling less items, 12 a share this morning, now, give me the organ music, please. Stuart online coupon guys, the stock down 31 , whats this about . They are not selling products . Ashley they are, they had the whole new range that they thought was going to put growth in a new direction, groupon goods, you heard of it, not many other people have either, a real drag on the economy, they were trying to actually sell items instead of selling, you know, restaurants and other experiences and hasnt worked out for them, the sales and profits were down quarter to quarter to quarter. Is the Main Business still offering slash sales ashley exactly, they want to get back to that. [laughter] they can get you one for half price but no one wants such a thing. Ashley my dog might. Stuart youre down on this thing, arent you . Move on. Lets have a different story here, look at futures across the board, we are going up this wednesday morning, 95, maybe 100 up for the dow, look at that, nasdaq, set new alltime high, going up another half percent or more this morning. Now this, new documentary series called mcmillions, reveals how one man rigged the mcdonalds Monopoly Game for over a decade. Watch this. Lets start with everything, revenge. Ronald mcdonald. Stuart a slim, sliver of a taste of whats to come, scandal between 1989 and 2001, a lot of people made a ton of money, ed rensi was ceo of mcdonalds, hes on the show later on today, the scandal, democrat congressman James Clyburn made explosive comment, you to hear it, we will play it for you after this. Apps are used everywhere. Except work. Why is that . Is it because people love filling out forms . Maybe they like checking with their supervisor to see how much Vacation Time they have. Or sending corporate their expense reports. Ill let you in on a little secret. They dont. By empowering employees to manage their own tasks, paycom frees you to focus on the business of business. To learn more, visit paycom. Com and i recently had a heart attack. It changed my life. But im a survivor. After my heart attack, my doctor prescribed brilinta. Its for people who have been hospitalized for a heart attack. Brilinta is taken with a lowdose aspirin. No more than 100 milligrams as it affects how well brilinta works. Brilinta helps keep platelets from sticking together and forming a clot. In a clinical study, brilinta worked better than plavix. Brilinta reduced the chance of having another heart attack. Or dying from one. Dont stop taking brilinta without talking to your doctor, since stopping it too soon increases your risk of clots in your stent, heart attack, stroke, and even death. Brilinta may cause bruising or bleeding more easily, or serious, sometimes fatal bleeding. Dont take brilinta if you have bleeding, like stomach ulcers, a history of bleeding in the brain, or severe liver problems. Slow heart rhythm has been reported. Tell your doctor about bleeding new or unexpected shortness of breath any planned surgery, and all medicines you take. If you recently had a heart attack, ask your doctor if brilinta is right for you. My heart is worth brilinta. If you cant afford your medication, astrazeneca may be able to help. Stuart well, well, lazy boy sale are up 5 , maybe sign of the economy or people spending on new furniture, lazy boy, doing well, boston beer report after the bell today, their hard selzer, probably going to help their bottom line, the stock is not moving in advance of their report, but jack how is with us, what do you think about hard seltzer. Sales up 220 in 2019. The company now does in volumes of seltzer, hard tea and cider than they do in beer even though its called boston beer, they might need a game change at some point. Explosive growth category. I thought last year was the summer of seltzer. This year consumption will double. In college we had a saying beer to liquor never sicker, my saying against sam, you get kicked in the can, this stock just goes endlessly higher on the seltzer boom. Stuart have you tried hard seltzer . Ashley i have. I just drink beer. [laughter] stuart stock is up, what was it jason justin, 57 . Justin, justin. Up 57 . In what time frame . Oh, hell not answering me now. [laughter] drinking hard seltzer. Brand here is truly hard seltzer, number 2 player in the space, the biggest player is privately held. Over the past year up 12 . 12 , thank you, susan, voice of reason. Stuart youre in the barons round table . Evening, watch early and often, cancel all your plans. Stuart drink hard seltzer. I will play a tape of congressman jim clyburn, House Majority whip, African American unemployment, roll the tape, please. No, no, because its not true. What do you mean its not true . Go ahead. Im saying that the africanamerican unemployment is not the lowest its ever been unless you count slavery, we were fully employed in slavery, depends on how you measure this up. Stuart interesting debate right there. Jason chaffetz, you heard in the house with mr. Clyburn, what do you make of his comment . I have the greatest respect for congressman clyburn, hes obviously joking because certainly he didnt miss the radfication of the 13th amendment to the constitution back in 1865 but, look, i think they are frustrated, its a moment of frustration, not only are employment numbers for African Americans the best theyve ever been since recorded but have rising wages. Stuart okay, i want to move from on from that contentious budget, i want to move on to the comparison of president obama and what hes saying about whether he deserves credit for the economy and current performance, hold on, jason, we put together a montage of what mr. Obama has been claiming, roll tape please. When you hear the republicans look how good the economy is where do you think that started, thats what a Progressive Agenda did. You hear folks taking credit for the economic marathon, hold up. They act like it just started. When the job numbers come out, monthly job numbers, suddenly republicans are saying its a miracle. I had to kind of remind them actually those jobs numbers are the same as they were in 2015 and 2016. Stuart okay, jason, have at it, what do you say . The president president obama is creating problems for his own Democratic Party debatee current field running for president , they all complained about the economy about how its not working, how its not doing what its supposed to be doing, at the same time you have barack obama trying to claim credit for it, Everybody Knows the reality, donald trump dealing with regulations and cutting those back, coupled with tax cuts and other smart policies like trade with mexico and canada, trade with china, other smart things that he did along the way that made the fundamental difference to create the prosperity that never ever happened under barack obama. Stuart what are you going to watch the debate and rally in phoenix with mr. Trump . You cant mix a rally, its fascinating to see how they take on Mike Bloomberg, that will change tonight. Stuart how does he perform first time on stage, ill be watching, i do my best. [laughter] stuart Jason Chaffetz thanks for being with us, check the futures market because we are going up nicely so, maybe 100 for the dow, look at the nasdaq again, up 50, 60 points, 9,695, we are almost at 9,700. Rancho mirage, estate in california, fundraising events, oracle employees are not happy about it, we have the story, more varney after this. Hey you dang woodchucks, quit chucking my wood geico. Fifteen minutes could save you fifteen percent or more on Car Insurance. Thats it. Im calling kohler about their walkin bath. [ sigh ] not gonna happen. My name is ken. How may i help you . Hi, im calling about kohlers walkin bath. Excellent happy to help. Huh . Hold one moment please. [ finger snaps ] hmm. The kohler walkin bath features an extrawide opening and a low stepin at three inches, which is 25 to 60 lower than some leading competitors. The bath fills and drains quickly, while the heated seat soothes your back, neck and shoulders. Kohler is an expert in bathing, so you can count on a deep soaking experience. Are you seeing this . The kohler walkin bath comes with fully adjustable hydrotherapy jets and our exclusive bubblemassag. Everything is installed in as little as a day by a kohlercertified installe. And its made by kohler americas leading plumbing brand. We need this bath. Yes. Yes you do. A kohler walkin bath provides independence with peace of mind. Stuart Larry Ellison is hosting bigticket fundraiser later today for President Trump, i believe, ashyees are not happy. Quite a few of them, they started a petition around the company saying this this basically shows support by our boss of donald trump does not fit with the core ethics of oracle. Let me put a section of this petition thats out there, it says in, quote, in part as oracle employees we must hold leaders accountable for upholding ethical responsibilities, ellisons Financial Support of donald trump endangers the wellbeing of women, immigrants, communities of color, the environment, lgbtq and transcommunities, disabled workersevery workers everywhere. Editorial that beijing took issue with, february 3rd, the real thick man of asia and how they were handling coronavirus. Maliciously slandering and attacking china, they have 5 days to leave the country and this is the first time in post era in china where they kicked out multiple journalists from single publication, maybe this is in retaliation that maybe the u. S. State department will identify 5 news outlets as possible state entities is this necessarily true, i think its more of a clampdown on the shall we say criticism of how china and beijing is handing the coronavirus, public anger online, if you go to social media in china, theres been a lot of questions about transparency and how well the quarantine and the containment of the disease has gone. Stuart suspicious they are kicking out wall street journal reporters because they want to clamp down on the truth, they might be the ones who reported it, they are out. Why is that considered slander, well, it goes back to the early 1900s which china sees as century of humiliation when they came in to take over the country. Stuart thats their reason for the kickout and other people have a different reason, okay, got it. Moments away from the opening bell, 3 minutes to go, thats all weve got, shar galani, first time we ever used your title, shar. I like it but thats not me. Stuart but you are that person, the Senior Adviser . No, im not. Stuart youre not . Im editor capital forecast. Stuart glad you pointed that out, my mistake. Maybe nominated for a new position. Stuart lets leave that on one side, lets talk nasdaq, record territory, we always concentrate on the trillion dollar club, you know the 4 or 5 Huge Technology companies which have, indeed, pushed the nasdaq up, what about the other Technology Companies, below that ultra trillion dollar level, they are doing well, isnt they shar . Stock wise, a lot of them are not doing as well as they should be relative to stock prices but prices elevated because they are in the index and the smaller indexes contain a lot of stocks also, as indexes get bought by passive investors, mutual funds and etfs, those stocks get caught up, a lot of them are doing well. A small portion, less than a quarter are not doing well, stocks are being brought along for the ride. Stuart would it true to say that if any viewers hold stock in mutual fund or certainly in a stock index, theyve got a piece of the trillion dollar club . Oh, absolutely, all of the big mutual funds have all of the Big Companies, they have to have them and unless mandate is otherwise, their job is to actually do better than the s p 500 as institutional investors, thats how they are measured, in order to do that, you have to own all of those Big Companies that are success producing profits and stocks are rising, yes, all major mutual funds and all the big etfs especially the path and index funds, all owned those Big Companies. Stuart well over 3 years since the election and youve been on the show all of the 3 years, youve always said this market is likely to keep going up, you still feel that sense of excitement, shar . I absolutely do, you look at earnings, they are very good, 77 as of friday of s p that reported. 67 had had positive revenue beat. Stuart okay, they are firing up applause machine, when the bell start ringing they start trading and that happens in literally, 4, 3, 2, 1, we are running. There is open and already we are up 85 points, 92 points, look at level, though, intriguing to me, 29,300, thats where we are. We are up almost 100 points right from the getgo and the vast majority of the dow 30 are in the green, i only see 3 dow losers at this point, so the dow is up a third of 1 , show me the s p, please, where are we . We are up onethird of 1 , same kind of gain, show me the nasdaq, please, alltime high, 9,782, gain of a half percentage point, we will be looking out for those Technology Companies, believe me, because they are up again and the dow is up 100. Follow apple, the virus would hurt revenue forecast that was yesterday, the stock went down, back up today, 320 a share as we speak on apple. Nvidia, theres a major leagues technology player, huge chip maker, way up again, two and a half percent higher, 304 a share. Check old tech by that i mean ibm, they are 151 a share, a very slight gain for ibm. Why are we checking ibm . Stuart why . Not that many people hold it anymore. Stuart youre right, youre absolutely right there. Unbeatable. Ashley unbeatable. Stuart until 1980s until it had a bad time. [laughter] made more millionaires then any other stock in history and then didnt do so well. Google reached alltime high yesterday, i think we have another one today, they are above 1,000, almost, almost, my producer is checking the numbers very, very carefully, we are just on the cusp of a new record high, 5 away. All right, i say the market wants to go up, ive been saying for a long time, what do you say . It does want to go up and proof of that is how much money is coming into the market, investors are optimistic, last week we saw 23 and a half billion dollars come in into equity mutual funds and etfs, most of the money will be going to path of investing funds, these are index funds that are following the big cap stocks that are following the leadership stocks, we are seeing the wonderful momentum continue, the only thing in my opinion, the coronavirus spreading and theres not being full attention drawn to that in terms of investors looking at that, investors are looking at that as they probably should right now but a lot gets turned upside down if you dont have a resolution, i dont think theres a vaccine within a year according to what i read from Harvard Research study, as long as cases start to diminish and reported infections is reduced and start to reverse the market is in the right place, if not the market as profit taking a hit. Stuart quick point, we are showing you nvida, 304, 305 a share. Overnight in china we had the beijing, state department saying that its an economic crisis with the coronavirus, stark words here but i feel that china is trying to basically add stimulus to the economy which is helping these rallies that we are seeing in the stock markets, right . Stuart they admit they have an economic crisis on their hands and they are pumping in the money and its helping us. Overnight the state Technology Group saying that we will help Technology Companies get better length to their manufacturers and the supply chains and make sure they actually stay in the country. This is a very tense important Inflection Point for china as a global manufacturer because of china is what represents 50 of iphone production and one and a half trillion Dollar Company sees this impact bottom line and start moving jobs outside of china, this could have a longterm permanent impact. Stuart maybe come back to america, who knows. Yes. Stuart we have to check tesla, they are up 54 a share, 914, shar, explain to me whats going on. [laughter] i have to explain the standard story which is there are a lot of shortsellers still expecting the stock to come down, they get bidden, their heads are bitten off regularly, they go back in for more and any good news comes along or the stock itself does start to move up with the market, the whole shortsellers have to cover, they are the ones taking the price up, this has been a constant for a couple of years and probably continue with tesla as nay sayers get it wrong. Stuart got it, housing numbers, we have new numbers this morning, take me through. Ashley let me start with the big number, billing permits, hitting a 13th year high in january and much higher than the year ago which kind of shows you that the lowMortgage Rates and people getting into the market and we had a real estate person said millennials are really starting to take advantage of low Mortgage Rates and we got housing stocks down 3. 6 from december which by the way was a blow outnumber, its tough to beat in december, again year over year both housing stocks, construction and permits are sharply higher. Stuart would zillow be a good buy . Yes, its been a good buy, i think its too pricey for me because its near 2week high anded that tremendous run. I think its high to my liking, ill probably look at it at a dip, considerable dip. If youre optimistic about the economy which i am optimistic about housing which i am, yeah, you want to go further in the stock, probably has more to go, for me i look at price value and i think its a little bit expensive for me in here. Stuart okay, next up is walmart, they reported disappointing holiday sales and they there was some statement about stores in china and reopening of the stores is slow right now with limited hours and they say that might like 175 other companies coronavirus might impact their sales and profits Going Forward especially in the First Quarter of this year, but the price is telling something in the markets, take a look at market yesterday, take a look at apple, very small declines given what we would usually see in terms of reactions when we warn markets we will not make as much money. Stuart okay, is walmart reacting to the virus scare . Yes, its definitely reacting to virus scare. I tried to find research how much of walmart revenue comes from china and how much of their product that are sold elsewhere comes from china, i got some numbers 26 and 37 and i couldnt verify any of them, those are pretty high numbers, i think investors are right to look at whats happening in china, they have almost 500 stores there walmart does and last year committed to pass another 500 stores, they look at china as growth area, obviously thats the right move to make but right now i think whats going to happen in china is going to pull their stock down a little, im a little cautious here on walmart, i love the company longterm, but china is definitely going to have an impact. Stuart stock that i was going to buy but never did, we are talking uber, they, in fact, i was thinking about buying at 31. 32. You would have made a lot of money. Stuart but i didnt, i let it go. Closing offices, at least one office in california. Los angeles to be specific. Stuart why . Trying to save money . 80 jobs are going to save money, they have to get profitability, the ceo promised that they would get to profitability outside of expenses by the Fourth Quarter of this year, so 80 jobs adding to the thousand that they layed off last year and dara is being very tight when it comes to cost management, needs to hit the target and thats why the stock rallied. Stuart they layed out 80,000 80. Stuart they went public at 45 . Thats right. Stuart still below offering price, okay, shar, would you buy it at 40 . No, im with you, i wished i had looked at it at 31. Im surprised you didnt buy it because you like the technology and talked about it and its not my cup of tea until they start making some money and i dont see what you see in it, stuart, obviously the stock has done very well from its lows, you talked about ipo price, obviously it hasnt done well, if you catch a stock like this, you can make an awful lot of money as a lot probably did. Stuart i should have bought it for the grand kid. Next generation. Stuart check out the big board, gain of 66 points for the dow industrials, thats a quarter of 1 , we are right there at 29,300. 10year treasury, good indicater, the yield sup, that mean the price is down so money is coming out of no risk and into more risk stocks, i try to get this right, ash. Ashley yeah. Stuart price of gold i suspect is down today. No, got it wrong again. 16. 07 is your price, oil, 52 bucks. Yes. Got it right. Fiftytwo dollars. By the way, the price of gas National Average has started to rise. We got to the low 240s, tick up a little bit. Bed, bath and beyond, chief executive, the gentleman on the screen right there, hes hes going out to declutter the store. New ceo, look, we dont want to see merchandise stack high to the ceiling, stop all of that and trim inventory by 10 this year alone, spend 400 million on store remodel, tech updates, making the checkout system more efficient, why the wider aisles, this is a problem for bed, bath and beyond. You couldnt figure out could you add this one to that one, he will stop all of that un, december and january sales and profits fell but he says better supply change, its not going to happen overnight but he will turn this thing around, we shall see. Stuart too little too late for bed, bath and beyond. Yes, one of the reasons that it rises on any kind of news that might be positive or interpret as positive, 62 of the stock of the floating stock on this has been shorted, thats a tremendous amount of investors betting against this company. Stuart all right, shar galani, capital strategist. See you soon. Wrap it up, check the big board, we are up 84 points, 29,318. Update in the virus, number of cases, new cases seems to be slowing in china, here in america 14 people still in quarantine, evacuated from the cruise ship off the coast of japan, what i want to know why did we bring the virus here, i will ask dr. Anthony about that next hour. All right, Shamrock Shake, its back at mcdonalds for 50th year, its iconic apparently, favorite, shake served in lead up to st. Patricks day, this year is different, is it really . We have our hands on one of them and we will tell you whats new. Former mcdonalds chief is coming up, we have to ask him about the new documentary series mcmillions, its about the mcdonalds monopoly scandal, cant wait to ask him about that, more varney after this. Gr. From an everyday solution. To one that can take on a bigger challenge. We are solving problems that improve lives. Mcdonalds Monopoly Game gave millions of people a chance to win. From 1989 to 2001 almost no legitimate Million Dollar winners. The fbi told us the game pieces are being stolen. Mcdonalds conversations on the wiretap were coming in. Im hearing a name uncle jerry throwing around on the phone. Started focusing on more on who he was. Stuart thats just a little clip from hbos documentary and it is called mcmillions, thats about the mcdonald monopoly scandal. I want to bring in ed rensi, ed, that was an extraordinary scandal, a lot of bad guys got away with millions of dollars, how did it happen . Well, you know, you have one man in charge of security for the prizewinning game pieces in georgia, at the printing shop and he was accidentally given some security tags outside the normal audit process and he used those security tags to change the pieces and he went unnoticed for a very long time until really clever fbi agent in jacksonville, florida, i think his name was Doug Matthews started seeing a cluster of winners in the jacksonville, florida area and they all turned out to be relatives of this jerry guy and it was embarrassing for mcdonalds, it was a tragedy because mcdonalds franchisees, mcdonalds customers were victims of a fraud that was just awful and the good news is they still got hamburgers and french fries but nobody really won the big prizes, in fact, i got a letter when i was president and ceo, i got a letter from a woman who had a winning prize and i think it was 50,000 and she said, i dont really need the money, id like you to give it to st. Judes and i passed that onto chief marketing officer paul and onto our chief Legal Counsel and we were already in the process of working with the fbi. In fact, we continued to game for a while so we can round up all the crooks. Stuart the fbi got all the winners together in one room and they realized they all knew each other. Thats how the story broke. Exactly. Stuart is that right . They actually had a sting operation where the fbi took one of our Senior Marketing people and they went out and interviewed the winners and they were doing a story theoretically, a story about all the game winners in the Monopoly Game and they really wanted to get them all in the room to figure out what the story was, its tragedy in a lot of ways because the victims were the customers of mcdonalds and thats just unfortunate. Stuart indeed, ed, hold on a second, i want to turn and talk about the Shamrock Shake, hold on, ed, we will get back to you, i promise. Grady, the shakes 50th anniversary, whats new about it . It is, stuart, well, theres the classic option that you have right here but then theyve got the mcflurry option which has oreos crumbles, 20 years this thing was around, Richard Nixon was president back then in 1970 when it came out and we know how political career ended but the Shamrock Shake still going strong and mcdonalds hoping it can boost foot traffic, maybe theyll buy Something Else as well, im not the right person for the story, stuart, ive never had Shamrock Shake, im lactose intolerant, i will give to somebody out. Stuart lets see if anybody takes them. Shamrock shake. Nobody wants one, stuart. They will wait to buy one on thinker own. Stuart the people of the streets on chicago are not taking the free Shamrock Shake, can i take it that it does get people into mcdonalds, does it work . Absolutely. The Shamrock Shake was started by mcdonalds back in massachusetts area, it was later adopted, it was basically a vanilla shake that had cake in it and mint flavor much later but it was adopted by the Ronald Mcdonald house as fundraiser for Ronald Mcdonald, 1974 we had the fly with eagles campaign, with the philadelphia eagles, we gave 25 cents for every milkshake sold to the founding of the Ronald Mcdonald house in philadelphia, great relationship, its a great consumer product, people love it, believe me, ive had a few. [laughter] stuart i believe that. Ed rensi, excellent, thank you very much for joining us, thank you very much, sir, i should tell you the s p 500, s p 500 hit all new time high, and we have a lot of green on the lefthand side of the screen, and then we have amazon, it really did dominate the Holiday Shopping season and our next guest expects amazon to make more in online sales than walmart and target combined. How about that . He will deal with amazon next. Lets get down to business. The business of hard work. Hustle. And high fives. Check amazon, please, the retailers here, amazon, walmart, target, check them out, i want to bring in our retail guy, made a name for himself. Great to be with you. [laughter] stuart amazon dominated the holiday season, any argument with that . None whatsoever. They were the huge winners, cosco did great and stock shows it. Stuart amazon clear winner. Absolutely. Stuart take me forward, i was reading your stuff, listening to what youve got to say and youre telling me that amazons increase in online sales will dwarf every other online seller in the future, is that right . Well, they are huge and dont seem to be slowing down, so they do 350 billion of growth sales in the u. S. , you take amazon plus thirdparty sellers. Stuart 350. 350 billion. Online. Much bigger in the stores. Target is single digits, so even the total of target and walmart is about 10 online of amazon sales, amazon is at 22 , 22 is like 70 billion a year in growth. [laughter] walmart. Com is only 30 billion to start with. Stuart decaf, decaf, come on. You have to push the button. [laughter] stuart amazon has ran away with online business. The only thing walmart and target can do is use competitive advantage with stores and so they are pushing to do that to deliver from the stores, but so far they still dont distribute enough of merchandise that way and still cost too much to have it delivered that way. Stuart not a single challenger to amazon . The only thing that can slow amazon down is amazon, ie, regulators, i dont like the way you treat thirdparty sellers, antitrust concerns, issues about how they drivers, are they really contractors, how are they compensated. Those are the issues that might slow amazon down, from a market standpoint, competitor standpoint, nobody even comes close. Stuart have to end it there, im afraid, all the coffee for just 2 minutes. [laughter] stuart thank you so much. My pleasure. Stuart appreciate it. Mustwatch tv tonight. Great rhythm to that thing especially when youre 18 years old. Were playing that song, tumbling dice. A tweet from Elizabeth Warren amount shame Mike Bloomberg can buy his way into the debate. Each voter can get a live demonstration how we take on an egomaniac billionaire. The field is gunning for the new frontrunner. Listen to what mayor pete says about Bernie Sanders. Roll it. I was wondering if, i think if the socialist Bernie Sanders wins the nomination trump will beat him. What do you think . I share that concern. I mean look, senator sanders i think speaks to a lot of ideals that we all share but right now weve got to make sure were drawing as many people as we can into our coalition. If the message goes out that youre only choices have got to be for a revolution other you must be for the status quo. Stuart who leads the democrats into the election . 78yearold socialist or a 78yearold billionaire . Okay. Its early of course, but the race is narrowing fast. This admittedly early stage. Looks like down to bernie or bloomberg. Live long socialist passion versus lifelong wealth building. Tearing down the rich versus becoming incredibly rich all within the same party. Incredible, isnt it . How did this happen . Look no further than the wildly disruptive President Trump. This is his doing. Right from the moment he came down the golden escalator trump drove the far left utterly crazy. The socialist wing of the party, bernies people they were apoplectic. He lit their fuse. Bernie felt he was cheated out of the chance to face and beat mr. Trump. His anger reverberated throughout the party. Trumps presidency galvanized bernies challenge. Trump made bernie the force he has become. Establishment democrat, they also detest the president. They want someone, anyone who can beat him. They thought joe biden would be the one. He has faded badly. Desperation. So in comes the man with the money, Mike Bloomberg, the 60 billiondollar man. Desperation to beat the president establishment democrats are quite prepared to take his money and pray he can buy the oval office. If it wasnt for trump, bloomberg would not be in this election. Amazing, isnt it. The democrats are united only in the contempt for President Trump. They are hopelessly divided how to beat him in november. Result . In my opinion neither bernie nor bloomberg will beat him. Mr. Trump who drives the split will benefit from it with a win. That is why we brought back steve cortez, America First action pac Senior Advisor and spokesman. Did you ever think the democrats would have to choose between a socialist and a multibillionaire . Crazy in 2020, Democratic Party there is civil war going on for the soul of the Democratic Party. The two main contestants right now are a crazy old communist and a soulless oligarch. At that is really the choice but youre exactly right, donald trump is the driver of that phenomenon. He is. I call him the great revealed. He revealed that the Democratic Party which by the way needs to have the battle, but that the Democratic Party is rudderless. It has no uniting principle other than antagonism towards President Trump. That is certainly not enough to win particularly when we have economic numbers like were getting this morning, stuart. Youve been talking about it and promoting it. This housing data Business Building permits in 1 years. This is great news. The trump boom is real, it is real, and when it comes to Kitchen Table issues i believe americans will vote to continue to reelect and expand the trump economic miracle happening in this country. Stuart President Trump literally just tweeting about bloomberg. Here it is. Is core interrupt Bloomberg News going to say what a pathetic debater mini mike is . He doesnt respect our great farmers or he violated Campaign Finance laws at the highest and most sinister level with payoffs all over the place . Stuart, a great point. I am glad the president is making this point. Lets be honest what Mike Bloomberg has done, engaged in a leveraged buyout of Democratic Party a liberal republican mayor, as a corporate raider would he is trying to take over the Democratic Party with money. He has done it so far quite successfully. He spent hundreds of millions of dollars to purchase the loyalty of a lot of political figures on the left. Again he has gotten away with it so far but can he from here, by the way the point about farmers, listen, im here in the midwest, im in chicago. Im proud to be the son of two farmers. Both my mother and father grew up on farms. The disrespect showed not just towards farmers but towards workingclass people in general, to me that is emblematic who he is. This is a technocrat, soulless oligarch. I believe that will become more apparent as the race continues. It might become more apparent even tonight during the democratic debate. This is not the man who can take on donald trump who again is a man ever the people who provided over a trump boom that is real and material and exploding in this you very much indeed, sir. I have news on bloomberg and is . He will sell it if he is elected . Ashley if he is elected. How much could he get . Up to 60 billion. First he said he would put the business in a blind trust, maybe sell later but on the campaign trail he says if he is elected he will indeed sell bloomberg. By the way this generates 10 1 2 billion dollars in revenue last year alone. 325,000 customers who each pay 24,000 a year for the Financial Data terminal and other services. He founded this Company Nearly 40 years ago. It is a truly Success Story but that kind of wealth, what is he going to do . Apparently he said he will sell it if he is elected. Stuart got that one. Thank you, ash. Lets get to money and the market. Bring in jim awad, he is clearstead guy, right. Clearstead advisors. Stuart i get that right. You say bloomberg would be good for the markets. Wait, if he wins, you think the market would do well if bloomberg wins. I am saying he would be effective president. I am not saying he would do better than trump but the economy would do well. I served eight years on a board with Mike Bloomberg, saw him in actions, he is analytical, fair, balanced, successful capitalist. This program he came out which is leftist to energize the bernie base, win them over to him. Should he get the nomination he wants those voters to turn out. If he wins, we look back after fours years, centrist, procapital president and i think he would address some issues that trump isnt addressing. I would be happy with either of them as president. What im saying he if he won i think the economy would continue to prosper. Stuart bloomberg wants Stock Transaction tax. Steve cortez, i will get to you in a second. Okay. Stuart the stock tax,. 1 of one cent, a 10th of a cent basically on all Stock Transactions. What do you make, steve cortez . Honestly a bit of a paradox, ironic a man built his fortune off Financial Markets wants to punish the markets that resulted in so much prosperity for him individually. I think it is a terrible idea. Americans, here is the great thing about the trump boom. We have both main street and wall street prospering at the same time. What i mean by that, we have stock markets at alltime highs but we also have wages growing demonstrably. That is something we did not have, for example, during the obama years. I dont want to punish either side of the equation. I dont think it makes sense to put hindrances to growth in wall street. I dont think it makes any sense to inhibit the entrepreneurial spirit of main street and wage growth. Bloomberg is wrong headed. Stuart jim awad, would a. 1 of one cent tax on every Stock Transaction hurt the market . Yes. I think it is a posturing point for bloomberg. What he has to do, get two things, win the nomination and win the election. This is purely getting sanders base excited in case he wins. He cant afford to have them stay home. He is establishing some economic credibility on a the left. But dont forget he has got to get elected, he has to get it through congress. At this point, it is posturing. He is capitalist. You dont get to be worth 60 billion without being an effective capitalist. I would think he would be govern as a capitalist. He would be a little less right economically than trump but the country would do fine. Stuart jim awad, thank you very much. Always an important day. New cases of the virus in china appear to be slowing and passengers from that ship in japan have begun to disembark. Earlier this week 300 americans returned from china. 14 of them are in quarantine. Later this hour dr. Anthony fauci joins us. I will ask him why did we bring 14 people with the virus to the United States . Tonight the six democrats in the president ial race, six of emwill hit the debate stage in vegas. Were expecting a big fight between the two front runners especially. Bernie and bloomberg. Joining us next former nevada senator dean heller. Back after this. Im your 70lb st. Bernard puppy, and my lack of impulse control, is about to become your problem. Ahh no, come on. I saw you eating poop earlier. Hey my focus is on the road, and thats saving me cash with drivewise. Whos the dummy now . Whoof whoof so get allstate where good drivers save 40 for avoiding mayhem, like me. Sorry hes a baby stuart were still but only just 58 points higher for the dow. But we hit alltime highs for the s p 500 and for the nasdaq earlier today. Lazboy, they had a really good Fourth Quarter. Their sales were up 5 . Maybe is a sign that people are putting money into their homes and rejuvenating i suppose. Ashley certainly relaxing. Stuart with a lazboy. The stock is up what is that, 2 at 33 a share. Walmart, it is at 118 a share. This is what i dont understand. An outfit called stiffel raided their target price to 117 a share. What is going on . Do they think it is going down . I never figure that one out. Everyone would love to have a highpaying job. Deirdre bolton is here to tell us the top five paying jobs ine. Go. Med school. Anesthesiologist, ob gyn, orthodontist. Showing. Stuart i see salaries there. Yep. Stuart are those starting salaries or average salaries. They are average salaries because as anybody who lives in big cities knows, that is probably double. For example if youre in new york city. There is a catch as there always is. Four years of medical school is not exactly cheap. If you go to a Public University for that four year degree which obviously on top of the bachelors degree, 250k is Public Medical School degree. 330k on average. To put it in larger context. Look at the median salary for an average american from the department of bureau of labor statistics, 49,000 a year. If you compare the 49,000 as the median, not average, median, you look at these top 10 jobs you can see where theyre all doing pretty well. Every single one we showed you on the top five, next five as well, all medicalrelated. Stuart you go to med school, you get a highpaying job and a ton of student debt. I was going to say. You spend 15 years at least paying it off. Stuart yeah. That is a remarkable list. All medical related. That is interesting. Every single one. Baby boomers are aging. Need a little more help. There we go. Stuart geriatric care is probably the best way to go, people like me. My times up. Before we start going down that road. Stuart all eyes on nevada. Democrats debating in vegas tonight. The president holds a rally there on friday. Vegas in the news. President makes a big push after losing narrowly that state to hillary in 2016. Former Nevada Republican senator dean heller with us right now. Mr. Senator, welcome back to the show. Great to see you again. Stuart, good to see you too. Thanks for having me back on. Stuart what is it going to take the state to flip itth election to President Trump . President trump is not giving up on the state of nevada. That is why he is coming on friday. Daytona 500, with 100,000 people chanting four more years. I saw the Las Vegas Raiders stadium. That thing doesnt get built without the trump economy. Nevada economy strong as it is. Trump giving effort and time in this race i think he has a real good chance turning nevada around. Stuart there are two, in my opinion, in the debate tonight there are two frontrunners that would be bernie and bloomberg. How do you see this shaking out . Set the stage for us, please, mr. Senator. I think it is held at the paris on the strip there with that fake eiffel tower outside. Set the scene. It will be a real big night. Yeah. 11 hours from now, well find out, i will be at the debate myself commentating on that, what these candidates have to say. But the big variable right now is bloomberg and you know bloomberg is like the backup quarterback on every football team. He is everybodys favorite player. Now first time getting into the game. Well see if throws an interception or throws a touchdown. Well find out tonight how good bloomberg is. We found out 400 million will buy 15 of the democratic votes in the latest polling. So were going to see real quickly here how strong or how solid bloomberg will be in the near future. Stuart you can buy your way on to the debate stage but you cannot buy a good performance id say. Well find that tonight, arent we, stuart . Stuart vegas is the center of attention right now. There is enormous interest in the debate because of bloomberg. Right. Stuart he is generating ratings here. This is changing, yeah, this is changing the race. Bernie is, Bernie Sanders is the frontrunner and he will talk about health care. He will talk about medicare for all. I want to point one thing out. China does have medicare for all. If youre happy with what is going on with the coronavirus stuart thats terrible. If you like what youre seeing over there, the lack of, you were talking about the kind of wages you can make in the medical community here in this country. All that changes with medicare for all. You will lose doctors. You will lose nurses. You will lose facilities and you will have what is going on in china right now with that coronavirus. That is what medicare for all gives you. In nicely, dean heller. Thank you for joining us this morning. You bet, stuart. Thank you very much. Stuart check the market, Still Holding to a very modest gain, 60 points up for the dow. New records for the s p and nasdaq. Ashley and google. Just hit alltime high. Stuart alltime high. Blue apron, going the other way. Meal kit guys, right . They reported yesterday. Theyre just bleeding cash. The stock this morning is down nearly 19 and as ash just told us, google has hit an alltime high. Thank you, ashley. I was getting to it. 1529 is your price on alphabet, otherwise known as google. 10 higher. Up a fraction of 1 . President trump apparently not only one unhappy with the media. Bernie Sanders Campaign ripping the coverage of one particular outlet. I bet you cant guess who he is ripping into . I was surprised. Well tell you all about it next. Beyond the routine checkups. Beyond the notsoroutine cases. Comcast business is helping doctors provide care in whole new ways. All working with a new generation of technologies powered by our gigspeed network. Because beyond technology. There is human ingenuity. Every day, comcast business is helping businesses go beyond the expected. To do the extraordinary. Take your business beyond. Its our most dangerous addiction. And to get the whole world clean . That takes a lot more than an alternative. So we took our worst vice, and turned it into the dna for a better system. Materials made from recycled plastic woven and molded into all the things we consume. We created bionic and put the word out with godaddy. What will you change . Make the world you want. Stuart sanders camp is not happy about the coverage theyre receiving from, msnbc. That is a real surprise to me. Here is what the Campaign Manager said, quote, they have been among the last to acknowledge that Bernie Sanderss path to the nomination is real. Even when it has become real they frequently discount it. Whoa. Steve cortez is back with us. I was surprised theyre picking on msnbc. Theyre all falling out with each other. That is what is going on. Im not surprised but i do empathize. While i dont share idealogically sympathy for the Sanders Movement but i do understand as an antiestablishment movement they have been reviled and mistreated by Corporate Media in this country and it is not just msnbc. For example, my former network, cnn, look how terribly they treated Bernie Sanders in the iowa debate where the debate moderator completely attacked Bernie Sanders and took the side of Elizabeth Warren in the feud between two liberal sanders. The Bernie Movement has a point here. They have been totally mistreated by Corporate Media in this country because theyre an antiestablishment movement. I believe eventually if bloomberg becomes the nominee, my hope and expectation a lot of bernie folks will either stay home and not support bloomberg, perhaps come over to our side, they belong, theyre deplorables and belong within the trump tent. Stuart nice one, steve cortez. That was really good. I didnt like the bit about my former network cnn you know. Im a founder of cnn, come on. Much. Steve, thanks for joining us. Im sure we will see you very soon. Thanks very much. Now, this, wait for it, the drama between Queen Elizabeth and prince harry and Meghan Markle continues. The queen is putting restrictions on them because they stepped back from the royal duties. There are new restrictions on them. A couple guys with british accents will discuss that in a moment. Youve been hearing a lot about 5g. But theres 5g. And then theres verizon 5g. Were building the most powerful 5g experience for america. Its more than 10x faster than some other 5g networks. And its rolling out in cities across the country so people can experience speeds that ultra wideband can deliver. 1. 7 gigs here in houston. 1. 8 gigs here in frigid omaha. Almost 2 gigs here in los angeles. Thats outrageous its like an eightlane highway compared to a twolane dirt road. My hands are everything to me. But i was diagnosed with dupuytrens contracture. And it got to the point where things i took for granted got tougher to do. Thought surgery was my only option. Turns out i was wrong. So when a hand specialist told me about nonsurgical treatments, it was a total game changer. Like you, my hands have a lot more to do. Learn more at factsonhand. Com today. Susan its appropriate. I know the song. I know the song. Yes. Called, come together. There you go. One of five. One of five songs i know. Stuart very, very good indeed. Wonder why you know this one . Susan can we wait until we get to the chorus . Maybe you will sing to it. You got to be free stuart come together were having too much fun on this program. Susan karaoke night. Stuart lets have more fun. The latest between the clash of the queen and harry and meghan, tell me. If youre ever going to bet always bet on the queen, my advice. Stuart always. Ashley yes. This is battle over the brand name sussex royal that the duke and duchess of sussex want to use, spending 10 of thousands of pounds to set up a website, instagram account. Guess what . The daily mail is reporting that no, you cannot use royal. It is definitely verboten. The palace says, these are part of quote, unquote, complicated negotiations. There are reports, daily mail, it is royal pain, you cant use it, out. Dont feel sorry for them. They will make a lot, a lot of money based on who they are. But they cant do it with the royal or anything to do with the royal family attached to them. Stuart they have to redo anything that said royal. Ashley another report they will appear at davos next year. A gathering of rich and elite, why not have some quasiroyals show up . Stuart remind me not to go. [laughter]. Markets come back a little bit rather nicely. Were pack up to now an 80 point gain. 29,300 is the level. S p and nasdaq both reached alltime record highs earlier today. There is a Company Called cytosorben is a biotech company. They made a virus treatment deal. The stock is up 7 . Five dollars a share. Got it. Stay on china. They ordered three wall street journal reporters out of the country. Susan, why . Susan they wrote an oped piece that is racially discrimination and maliciously attacking china. This opinion piece referred to china as the real sick man of asia. The real sick man of asia, that term is seen as discriminating because it goes back in history in the early 1900s when china went through what they called the century of humiliation when foreign powers came in, japanese, english, came to take over the country. So three of these journalists have five days to leave the country. First time in a postmao era three journalists from one single publication are being kicked out. Stuart the suspicion theyre being kicked out as a way to suppress the truth about the virus. That is what a lot of people are saying here. Susan a lot of public anger on social media how beijing handled the outbreak. 500 Million People with travel restrictions. Are we getting full information how the virus started the first place . Are there weeks in between the virus spreading the public were not informed about it . There is a lot of anger in terms of supplies, how beijing handled this and impact on livelihoods. Stuart good time to bring in mark simon. Senior executive for apple daily. He reports from, has been a long time in hong kong and in china. There is a suspicion here that xi xinping and the beijing authorities are not telling us the full truth about the virus. Where do you stand on this . Well accepted in hong kong and asia were not getting the full truth. The administration, American Administration has not yet been able to get a cdc team in. The World Health Organization teams are basically sitting in hotels going through data. The real issue that everybody has is no one knows exactly when the spread is going to stop. The data that we get is just numbers show up one night. There is nothing there. Stuart but the rate of growth is slowing down . That is what we know. I think that is probably correct. I think thats probably correct but we dont know the exact data points there i think the thing that happens is, overall, we have to remember who were dealing with. Were dealing basically with a communist organization. To me two things are clear from this in our perspective in the u. S. The first thing you have to give the Trump Administration credit. They shut things down very quickly. The chinese were very unhappy about this, incredibly unhappy about this. When the u. S. Shut down air travel, it gave cover to a lot of other people. It was no doubt a lot of people starting to move over here already. Look if youre sick, youre scared, you will go to the best medical care you can find and there is a lot of wealthy people in china who have visas. They can get on planes to come over. They have 10year visas. Second thing we know, xi xinping is not basically all powerful anymore. Stuart really . We saw stuart that is a big deal. Xi xinping about a week 1 2 ago said everybody is going back to work next week. Well, you know what we know, when i talk to my friend, essentially people are dripping into work. Theyre slowly moving into work. You have got regional authorities who are not relaxing the bans on people in terms of moving around. You have still people still in wuhan restricted to their hours a couple hours a day. If everything is going well, everything is going all right we know we would not be seeing know President Trump says xi xinping is assuring him everything is going well, he assured him everything going well and then the u. S. Put the travel restrictions on. I think the problem well see next in china is, and i think it will be growing into it, already starting to see this, essentially in place like china a lot of people live paycheck to paycheck. They have been really out of work for four or five weeks, maybe six weeks. Well start real issues. People not affording food. Landlords not getting rent. So the problems that xi xinping will encounter here in the near term without aura of invincibility he had before will be pretty significant. Im not saying anything will happen to the Chinese Communist party but i think all these aspirations that people have for xi xinping being a great leader forward, the man everyone loves and i think that is over. I think there is chance we see serious crackdowns in china when we start seeing some of the people come out and rise up. Youve been seeing stuff in north of xiangsho is borderline resistance. Stuart we should have started with that because that is the news. Very interesting stuff. I hope you can come back soon. We would like a window into hong kong and china and youre it. Thanks for joining us. Thanks for having me. Stuart much obliged. Great stuff. I will check a individual stock, bed, bath beyond, crushed yesterday. Bounced book today. Why, Ashley Webster . Ashley theyre just trying to turn this ship around the new ceo mark triton says i will start from the ground up. Literally trying to make the store more accessible for the consumer. No more merchandise piled high to the ceiling. Wider aisles. Will spend 400 million own store remodeling. Tech upgrades. Trying to improve the supply chain. Not have 12 options for things when you really only need three. All of that is basically under the heading, declutterring. He says it will take a while. He says you know we need to do this. The perception of bed, bath beyond with all the coupons which by the way will continue, when you go in the store youre overcome with these skyscrapers full of merchandise. He says well streamline and make this is a better experience. Stuart declutter. Ashley yes. Stuart who, ash or susan, ash, you will tell me what is going on groupon. Play the organ music, down 42 . What happened . Ashley they tried to go to groupon goods. Not only do specials 50 if you go to the restaurant or whatever you want to use, this nails salon, they tried to expand into groupon goods. Started selling other things, especially kitchen utensils. Complete utter failure. In fact if anything it dragged on a Company Already struggling to gain any ground. They will go back to the roots and focus on experiences. When you use groupon, what can i do around me this weekend with the kids type thing. They will try to service that this is a tough road to go for group upon. Stuart theyre down 42 . Ashley they are indeed. Stuart tells the story. Total change of pace and subject. Look at Virgin Galactic up 12 . Jackie deangelis joins us. She is the at new york stock exchange. Tell me more. It is up 12 . Whats going on . Reporter good morning, stuart. This is one of wall streets new speculative darlings alongside tesla, for example this is a the about on future technology. With tesla you have the electric vehicles. With Virgin Galactic you have space tourism. Wow, since the stock ipod last october, it actually moved. It tripled in the last three months. It is up 323 which is pretty massive. Wall street is looking for the next big thing. Sometimes it can sour on that as well. One to watch. Back to you. Stuart thank you, jackie. Next case, los angeles taking center stage in the illegal immigration battle. The mayor there giving illegals advice on how to avoid arrest. Well show you the tape and the president s reaction. Produce democrat congressman james clip burn made an explosive comment about black unemployment on this network yesterday. Well play it for you. After this. Lets get down to business. The business of road trips. Adventure. And reconnecting. Modernized comfort inns and suites have been refreshed because our business is you. Get the lowest price guaranteed on all Choice Hotels when you book direct at choicehotels. Com. Unemployment rate for africanamericans, hispanicamericans, and asianamericans, has reached the lowest levels in history. [applause] africanamerican youth unemployment has reached an alltime low. [applause] africanamerican poverty has declined to the lowest rate ever recorded. Stuart i notice Speaker Pelosi did not stand for that at the state of the union address. The president was talking about extraordinarily low level of black unemployment. Now listen to what South Carolina congressman jim clyburn had to say about black unemployment. Roll tape. No, no. Because it is not true. What do you mean it is not true . Go ahead. Im saying that africanamerican unemployment is not the lowest it has ever been, unless you count slavery. We were fully employed during slavery. All depend how you measure this up. So, it is not stuart that was on the Fox News Channel yesterday with our own neil cavuto. I want to bring in rob smith. Turning point usa kind of guy. Rob, what do you, what is your comb meant what you heard. My comment is wow. We were fully employed during slavery. That is something to take in. You know, i knew that the left was operating in living in a fantasy world when it comes to ignoring the good economy, ignoring africanamerican unemployment. I didnt know we wanted to go back to slavery. Which was very strange to me. Stuart it didnt ring right. It didnt ring right and ring true. When i look at the comment, remember all the Democratic Candidates on the left, the left started out this neverending primary cycle talking about reparations. This is all about reparations, all about the idea of about slavery. That is conflating the two. But the idea that africanamerican unemployment is not at alltime low, the idea that africanamerican youth unemployment is not at alltime low to ignore that is ignore reality. To ignore your constituents of all colors benefiting from the economy. Stuart trying to get around the fact it is at an alltime low. To right to slavery is pretty crazy, stuart. Stuart just stuck me as odd when i saw it. When it happened. Get your comment on Mike Bloomberg. Before we get your comment, i will play a tape here about some of bloombergs past comments about minorities. They are resurfacing. There is bloomberg. Roll tape. Enormous coheart of black, latino males, age 16 to 25, that dont have jobs, dont have any prospects, dont know how to find jobs, dont know what their skillsets are, dont know how to behave in the work place. Stuart okay, dont know how to behave in the work place. Yeah. Stuart can he get beyond that. I think yeah. I will take the minority opinion on this because my issue with bloomberg he is such a repulsive candidate in so many ways but he has a tone issue. If you talk to africanamerican conservative liberal, there is truth to what he is saying, there is the truth to the fact there are younger africanamerican men dont have prospects, dont know work place culture. The idea we cant to get past that to help the cohort of young man. What bloomberg has is a delivery issue. He is not delivering this message with any compassion. He is not delivering the message like he cares. He is delivering it in a very cold, offputting way. That is what will hurt him in the long run. Stuart do you think he has got a point . Is that what minority people among themselves think, that maybe we do have a problem with behavior in the work place . So that is what we call Kitchen Table talk, right . This is the talk we have when there is group of people that really do have the problems but what you have on the left nobody can talk about that. He will get binged really hard because he is actually saying it. Like i said the worst part, it is not the words, it is delivery. The delivery is very much off. If you have a message like that come with compassion and answers. Stuart very good. You have a book coming in may. I do. Always a soldier. Service, sacrifice, americas favorite black gay republican. Available for preorder right now. Stuart thats. That is me. Stuart thanks for joining us. Thank you. Stuart promise. Coming out another president ial tweet. Here it is, highest stock market in history by far. Short, sweet, to the point, mr. President. Right for sure. There were records for this morning of the s p 500 and the for the nasdaq. The market right now shows a gain of 75 points for the dow industrials. Were above 29,300. President trump and Los Angeles MayorEric Garcetti getting into it over immigration. I want to hear more about this, susan. Susan you herd from Eric Garcetti, l. A. Mayor, informing of rights and lapd will not work with i. C. E. Listen up. No matter the immigration status i want every angelino to know their rights and how to exercise them. Remember you have the right to remain silent. You dont have to open your door to an i. C. E. Agent that doesnt have a warrant signed by a judge. Most importantly i want you to know you do not need to be afraid. The city is on your side. Rest assured here in los angeles we are not coordinating with i. C. E. Stuart oh. Susan you heard it. Mayor of the city and head of the lapd saying they will not work with federal i. C. E. Agents. In response to this President Trump of course, in his visit to california tweeting he is not happy and the mayors efforts to shield illegal aliens endangers lives of public and Law Enforcement that have to go into the field to apprehend those released. He should not have illegals to beat the system but safely turn themselves in. Heard this at the state of the union as well. One specific case granddaughter of a grandmother killed by someone released in a sanctuary city. Stuart garcetti had to say is extraordinary. Ashley my gosh. Stuart senior official standing next to him nodding away. This is how you avoid us. Susan extraordinary. Stuart there are 14 americans evacuated from the cruise ship off the coast of japan. They are still in quarantine because of the virus. I want to know why they came back to america . Who better to ask than dr. Anthony fauci from the National Institute of allergy and infectious diseases. He is on the show and he is next. Sometimes your small screen is your big screen. Stuart 14 americans evacuated from that cruise ship off the coast of japan. They are still in quarantine for the coronavirus. They have the virus. Theyre here in america. Come in dr. Anthony fauci, from the National Institute of allergy and infectious diseases. Welcome back to the program. Why were the 14 americans with the virus brought back to america . Well it was the right call to bring them back because the situation on the vessel itself, it was a considerable amount of infection there. We wanted to get them back safely in a way that we could isolate them on the trip back, which are was successfully done. And then when they got here, they were sent to a facility in omaha, nebraska, highly trained, take ircare of people with these containment facilities. It is a good call. Those who would not be infected would have to be quarantined for additional 14 days, which is the outer limit of the incubation period. I think everything was done really quite correctly. Stuart are you comfortable we can contain the virus within america and not have it spread here . Given the situation today we have successfully done that with the 15 cases, that we have, 13 which traveled from wuhan, two of which were spouses of the travelers. If we get a worldwide pandemic where you have sustained transmission in multiple regions throughout the world, then it is going to be very difficult to adequately contain it anywhere. I think we could do a reasonably good job but it will not be absolute. Stuart okay. The fatality rate we understand is higher than first thought. Proportion of people who get the virus who die from it. Fatality rate i believe is above two. Not good news . Right. Well, it is about two to 2. 3 but thats when you just couldnt all the people who have come to the attention of the medical community. If you look at the people without symptoms, or minimal symptoms, then the denominator of that equation becomes much greater, which means that the actual fatality rate is probably closer to one or less than it is two. That is still quite high compared to seasonal flu which is. 1 . So we would like to see it much lower but clearly, this is a highly transmissible virus that does have a disturbing degree of mortality. Stuart dr. Anthony fauci, sorry the time is so limited. We always appreciate your time on the program with objective information. We appreciate it. Good to be with you. Stuart yes, sir. We told but the mayor of los angeles giving illegals advice how not to be arrested. Arizona congressman andy biggs from a border state. He is coming up on the show, he will take on what mr. Garcetti had to say. Mt. s rally in phoenix president s rally tonight while the debate is in vegas. It will be mustsee tv. Plus pete hegseth coming up next. S is hi, im bob harper, and i recently had a heart attack. [laughter] stuart eye of the tiger, there you have it, pretty good introduction id say, tonight its going to be a split screen, mustsee tv occasion, at 9 00 eastern, the democrats debate in las vegas. At 9 00 eastern the president rallies in phoenix, this is politics trump style, 2020 style, fascinating and gripping, yes. We are told that voters are turned off politics, you know, that speechripping thing, that didnt go down too welshing i got that, but this is the president ial election on live tv, this isnt the impeachment hearings, no way, the president is deliberately going head to head with his opponents, nobody has done that before, hes putting on a show, combined the numbers from his rally and the numbers from the debate and the tv ratings will be huge. And theres another reason to watch, Mike Bloomberg will make first appearance on debate stage for the very first time he will be on the thick of it on live tv after 60 billiondollar newcomer man, he has a target on his back, he has to perform, its mustsee tv, he can buy his way two into debate but he cant buy a winning performance, weve never seen a presidency like this. The rallies are something new in president ial politics, made for tv, mr. Trump is a very good tv producer, he knows how to do it. And weve never seen a democrat debate like this either, the 8 previous debates were restrained, rather boring affairs, we steadily declining tv ratings but tonight one of the richest men in the world is on the democrat stage. How can you not take a look at that . 9 00 eastern, 9 00 eastern trump rally, you are going to love it. At least i am, lets get right to it. [laughter] stuart i have to show you this, im slowing things down a little bit, top 6 democrats square off, new poll puts Bernie Sanders in doubledigit lead, hes got 27 support, pete hegseth. Its going to be great, isnt it . The split screen of tonight and the president as you said it, hes going everywhere where democrats are, hes drawing bigger crowds by far, ive been to rallies, lots of them, about a quarter of each are democrats or former democrats and much more diversed crowds than people think, hes changing the trajectory of the party just in time for the billionaire to show up on stage who does nothing but condescend to working people, farmers, elderly, blacks, minorities, working people. I could do your job, i could farm like you, all easy stuff, im the rich billionaire from new york, hes running against the bluecollar billionaire who connecting with them and look at the poll, stu, the Democrat Party is prohibitive front runner is an avowed socialist. You cant understate the impact of that. Stuart look at the party, socialist versus one of the richest men in the world representing democrats for heavens sake. Tonight we will pop the popcorn and watch the socialist battle the billionaire. Stuart yeah, we are. Joe biden will try to get words in there and fumble over them but irrelevant. Biden is effectively irrelevant. Stuart the president says the democrats are treating bernie unfairly, watch it. It just seems unfair whats happening to Bernie Sanders to be honest with you, i watched it happen 4 years ago, but seems like Bernie Sanders and the whole big section of the Democratic Party or as i call the Democrat Party which is the same, it seems that they are taking advantage of like they were 4 years ago today. Mike bloomberg responded to that with this, he says why do you want to run against bernie so badly, the president responded to that with, mini, mike, no i would rather run against you. Do you think hes really worried about bloomberg or bernie . I dont think hes worried about either, bernie is a socialist, america is not ready for that, the president has said that, i think thats true f Mike Bloomberg buys his way into the nomination, 5 , 10 of the bernie base say we its been done in 2016, he cant lose that along styed president has and inroads hes made in minority communities as far as their vote, the thing i will be looking for in tonights debate whether Mike Bloomberg steps into a little box. Everybody will be watching for that. If its a split screen either side i will be watching for bloombergs performance, i think thats the key, i if he has a draw tonight its good enough for him to continue because biden has been so bad, unscripted with all the amo coming at you its something to right. Stuart right in the middle of it. Exhausted after this . [laughter] never. Stuart see you again soon, thank you very much, sir. Check the market, the nasdaq hit alltime high earlier today, look at it now, its above 9,800. I want to know which stocks other than the big maga stocks, major Technology Companies are making this happen and lauren is going tell me. Tesla has more than doubled this year alone, of course, you had analyst today saying 928dollar price target but bullish on tesla not just because of the cars but batteries and Everything Else that comes with it, i also we wanted to show you nvidia alltime high today, chip maker used in teslas believe it o if s up 30 this year amd, up 148 . Stuart stocks other than maga doing very well. Thank you, lauren. I want to bring in moodys economist john lansky and im bringing him now, i think we got very good news on housing and that may have something to do with the big gain of the dow, up 127. In part, i also noticed index of housing sector shared prices is up by half percentage point, numbers are really incredible, home Building Permits, leading indicater, that was way above expectations, up by 9 monthly, its up 8 from year ago, best reading on home Building Permits since march of 2007. Stuart thats where we are going. Lower mortgage yields are working. Stuart that stimulates the economy because we are going to build a lot more homes in the future, permits are up, i mean, that spreads out through the whole economy, doesnt it . Thats right because eventually people buy homes and have to buy furniture, appliances and what not . Stuart would it get us to 3 growth . Pretty good chance, that year we 2. 9 , this could help push us over. We need help, though, from auto sales, they are still lagging behind, its going to be a good year for the economy, one of the reasons why housing is doing better than anticipated is because of the drop in treasury bond yields thats consequence of the coronavirus. [laughter] this is like the 1998 we had problems overseas in the World Economy and despite the fact that u. S. Economy was growing at that time by 4 to 5 , the problems overseas pushed treasury bond yields low enough so that that actually triggered enough by domestic spending. You know, you should be on trump advisory board. I know that youre not and can be but you should be, john, that was pretty good stuff. 3 growth, we could live with that. Back to the market, they are down, disappointing holiday sales, they did warn about virus could hurt profits later this year, we have the outfill outfit company, they raised their price tag 2 to 117 a share. 118. You raise your target price to less than where it is now. I really dont get that, do you . Lauren no. Stuart where am i going wrong . I dont get it. Ashley they believe its not a level thats sustainable but lifted what they thought was sustainable but they are wrong because its at 118. Stuart convoluted, i say. Ashley yes. Stuart check groupon, huge decline, they missed sales target for Fourth Quarter, stop selling goods and focus on deals. Down 42 , netflix hit a 52week high, 390 per share, all right, check those maga stocks, these are the 4 Companies Worth a trillion dollars a piece, they spell maga, microsoft, apple, google, amazon, i want to know what company is next to hit that top level and i have a guest who will answer that question later on the show. Did you know that adults 55 and older are actually happier than millennials . Another of those studies, we will tell you their key to happiness. President obama tried to get credit for the trump economy, will this be a problem for democrats to defend on the debate stage . Bret baier joins me after the break when you hear republicans brag about how good the economy is, where do you think that started . Thats what a Progressive Agenda did. When you hear right now folks taking credit they act like it just started. When the job numbers come out, monthly job numbers, suddenly republicans are saying its a miracle. Actually those job numbers are the same as they were in 2015 and 2016. Stuart whats going on here an attempt by barack obama, former president to take some credit for the booming trump economy now, you know, its going to be hard for the democrats on the debate stage tonight to go up against this booming trump economy, so lets bring in bret baier, special report anchor on fox news. It is going to be hard, isnt it, for the democrats to challenge trump on the economy . Yeah, stuart, the last fox news poll we had at the end of january asked about who is responsible for this economy currently, trump and the republicans had overwhelming numbers in that poll and obama and the democrats were at 9 , i do think it is tough, tougher, it is an argument that theyre making and its kind of one of the only arguments they can make, is that president obama, his administration saved the country from going over the cliff and thereby set the table for what was to come, however, most economists as you know point to really one to have weakest recoveries under the Obama Administration that was possible at the time. I think the fireworks tonight will be between Mike Bloomberg and Bernie Sanders, i think they are now the two front runners and im very eager to see on what the other says about the first one. Thats right. It would be fascinating. Stuart im looking forward to it, im sorry. Its a big moment, its a big moment because Mike Bloomberg, first time hes interacting with any of the opponents of the democratic field, remember, hes coming into this, hes had tons and tons of ads, more than 315 million worth and all kinds of staff in different states but he really hasnt sparred with any opponents, so hes coming in for the first debate and the rest of the debate stage is in midseason form, so itll be fascinating to watch. Stuart television and how you come across on television is extremely important on modern america politics, Mike Bloomberg has to be a tv performer to shine regardless of policies. He doesnt have a big history of that, stuart, hes not a Great Dynamic speaker or order and doesnt come across, you know, a lot of empathy when he speaks about thing as you know when you hear him speaking, even as former new york mayor, a lot of the candidates will be going after bloomberg because of his position and his target, however, that givers a clear lane to Bernie Sanders running the gauntlet as the moderates are trying to figure out who will be the modern alternative to socialists. Terrific stuff. I bet youve never seen splitscreen, side by side go at it, its classic trump, isnt it . Think about this. The possibilities of general election with donald trump and Bernie Sanders, for political reporter and anchor its like the sweet spot of politics, you know, you cant get through. [laughter] stuart every week we say the same thing and youve always got a smile on your face. Thats right. Stuart wonderful stuff, we will see you tonight, thanks for joining us today. You bet. Stuart john lansky is he still with and wants to know what he thinks what barack obama said . To go out and take credit for trumps tax cuts, trumps deregulation and trumps push on the Federal Reserve to put Interest Rates obviously is entirely wrong, he doesnt deserve any of the credit. The trump is very administration in helping us understand why we have a recordlong economic recovery. Stuart indeed, all the red tape which has been cut away is enormous advantage to the economy. Also trump did a great job at helping us understand that we can tolerate a very low unemployment rate, 3. 6 , 3. 5 without having to pay the price of run away price inflation, the cost of run away price inflation, thats incredible by important. Obama was very much we have to be aware if we allow that unemployment to fall too far we will suffer from run away wage growth, run away inflation and treasury bond yields going through the roof, never happened. In fact, right now the 10year yield despite good news on housing is less than 1. 6 . Stuart unbelievable, isnt it . Incredible. Stuart appreciate it. Now fortune, theyve just come out with their list of the best companies to work for, top 5, please. Top 5. Ashley how about hilton at the top, look, theres numbers there, ultimate software, Software Company came in at 97 but it wasnt number 1, hilton had the best Overall Survey responses, super market chain, cisco, Hardware Company and workday has financial stuff, hr programs, those are your top 5. Stuart they should have put fox up there. Ashley i looked. Stuart i love working at fox business, i love it. We should be number one, really. Lazy boy hit home run, sales and revenue both up maybe this is a sign that people are investing more in their house, maybe. Tough times for blue apron, considering the sale of whole company, it continues to lose customers and reported its latest quarterly loss down 22 right now, blue apron back to 3 bucks a share, Mike Bloomberg takes the stage at the debate tonight, first time on debate stage, hell have to answer all of four all of those controversial points that he made in videos that keep resurfacing, we have a list of that, more Baseball Players slamming the astros for the cheating scandal, hear what they have to say after this break. Ashley aaron judge saying this team should be stripped of world series, not only did we lose but the fans us. It affected like i said earlier the fans of the game, you know, even other guys that lost their jobs because of it, guys that, you know, went into houston and got beat up and never made it to big leagues. Ashley he lost out to astro. Lauren he tweeted, i know i dont play baseball but i am in sports if someone cheated me out of winning the title and i found out about it i would be expletive irritate. This is sending the message to the commissioner manfredy as well as astros and maybe players need to be punished. They will be humiliated this season on the field. I want to talk to you about the hard seltzer story, the demand for it is absolutely booming, wait till you hear the numbers in comparison to beer sales, we have them for you, mustwatch tv tonight, Mike Bloomberg takes the stage, bloombergs pollster doug sean joins me in a moment. Stuart its a rally and a strong rally at that, the dow is up 145 and we have new record highs for the s p and for the nasdaq, rally continues. Michael bloomberg takes debate stage and have to address past comments on minorities, we will roll that tape again for you, roll it, please. This enormous cohort of black and latino males age lets says 16 to 25 that dont have jobs, dont have any prospects, dont know how to find jobs, dont know what their skill sets are, dont know how to behave in the workplace. Stuart i want to bring in daniel garza Libra Initiative president and promoting hold on a second, Michael Bloomberg not too long ago said that young latino males dont work dont behave well in the workplace, can bloomberg get the minority vote, the hispanic vote . He can get it, thats quite an is he going to get it . No, probably Bernie Sanders has the strongest infrastructure in nevada, for example, obviously this guy is well funded so there is that, this kind of rhetoric doesnt help, its harsh, he paints too broad a brush against latinos themselves. Stuart does he have a point . Is it is it table talk with hispanic . Maybe some of us we are not of course, they do, the young blacks face obstacles to equal opportunity, of course, they would do, sometimes government that imposes those barriers more than anybody else, how, high licensing and certification, they want to double the cost to hire them, Mike Bloomberg wants to double the minimum wage, youre shutting people out of the marketplace, you strip the decision rights from parents on choosing the kind of education that their children should have through School Choice programs. Stuart lets broaden this out for a second, President Trump come november does he get higher of the latino vote or lower . 4. 4 million latinos have businesses in america that are generating almost a trillion dollars in in treasury, record unemployment, record home ownership, latinos are doing very well in this economy, by the way, High School Dropout rates have plummeted for 30 of 20 years ago to 10 , work to do bu Latino Community and thanks to policies of reducing taxes, reducing regulation, proenergy, these kinds of policies that are being advanced by this president are making latinos lift twice. Stuart daniel garza, thank you very much, indeed. Joining us doug sean, bloomberg pollster. All videos resurfaced where hes going after not going after but not being very kind to democrat constituents like bluecollar workers, farmers, factory workers, women, minorities, how does he get over that . Well, hes continuing to do well in the polls, theres one out i think it was this morning, Morning Consult has him about 20 , bernie is 26 or 27, doesnt appear to have hurt him. Stuart he will be attacked tonight. He sure will be. Yeah. Stuart i think that your guy Mike Bloomberg will reverse the tables, i think he will go on the attack tonight, yes, i will have to defend to some degree, i think he goes on the attack, am i right . I think you will see a spirit ed Mike Bloomberg, i am confirming by saying that he will give good stuart i want to bring in susan li, bloomberg is trying to appear to farleft liberals, tell me about that, please. Much different from a man that was making billions of dollars selling Data Information in bloomberg terminals, his plans for wall street include a transaction tax. 1 , if you trade a thousand dollars you pay 1 dollar in transaction taxes, little bit different from Bernie Sanders who is proposing 5 tax, he wants to toughen the rule, banks are limited in terms of how much risk they can take. Dont forget back in 2011 bloomberg actually said this type of action, these types of rooms were punitive action on wall street and might hurt the middle class in reverse, also adding more consumer protection, expanding the role of Protection Bureau which was by Elizabeth Warren and to this financial transaction tax could raise 777 billion, would that be enough to pay for tuition free for Community College that hes proposing as well and debt free for those families under 35,000 . Stuart doesnt seem like hes playing the moderate now, hes moved over to the left a little bit, that surprises me. Hes certainly a moderate democrat. Stuart he wasnt tough on banks that joined the financial crisis, now he is. Calling for higher capital requirements, greater regulation s. Stuart thats not where he was 10 years ago. Well, 10 years, we changed, you and i have changed, stuart. [laughter] stuart i havent. You are going to be watching of obviously. Obviously. Stuart do you think your guy will win, he will provide spirited defense of his policies, hes a unique experience and man with extraordinary breath and depth. Stuart a brilliant business guy, but hes got to perform well on television, you have to perform well on tv to do well in american politics these days. Ive worked with him in the past on other debates, he rises to the occasion. Stuart ive seen the other debates, hes lackluster. Well well, he did enough to win elections in americas cities, he certainly did not fail to perform adequately to win those elections. Stuart thats true. He bought them as well. He bought his debate stage and bought election. Every penny hes spending is money that hes made. Interest money. Stuart thats true, you think he wins . I think hes a very, very competitive candidate, a month or so i disagreed with you when you said he would be the nominee, right now i think he has a real good shot at it. Stuart i dont remember you disagreeing with me. Im giving you credit. I was a little bit more moderate and im trying to concede that you may well have been right and i may have been well more pessimistic. I will repeat, i think he buys the nomination from the democrats, i think thats what hes going to do . Well, let me put it to you this way, in our electoral system, a system that you support candidates are allowed to do that and i think thats a lot better than taking money. Stuart fair enough, doug, youre all right, im sure you will be back frequently. I will be coming from florida as much as i can. Stuart got you. Check a couple of stocks, all across the board, im checking mcdonalds because the Shamrock Shake is back, new twist to it. Its a big deal, you can get the one youre looking at and you can also get one with oreo inside, its really like mint chocolate ship. Stuart lets not make the mistake of saying that the return of Shamrock Shake is the reason why stock is up. I dont mind. Boston beer, check them please, they report their earnings later on today, but this this is really a story about hard seltzer. Ashley it is, by the way, beer growth last year barely 1 , in fact, sales of hard seltzer half a billion dollars this year alone. Yes, the traditional beer maker, busch, corona, you will see the partnerships with sports organizations, sports leagues and so on, hard seltzer is a force to be reckon with. Stuart check the cheesecake factory, took the grandchildren and spent a fortune, lets see if thats affecting the stock. Varney effect, they report after the bell today, maybe its i should tell you, they Just Announced a new ice scream line in grocery stores. Lauren they sell their broad amazing, you can buy that at the store now. Stuart all right, i remember that. Before rallying voters in arizona, the president will be visiting billionaire oracle cofounder Larry Ellison, hes going out there for a bigdollar fundraiser in california already. Just wait till you see how much people are paying to get in there, live report, Maxine Watters no fan of the president , sounds like treat shying to shes trying to rally the resistance. We have to resist, i dont hear enough voices. Stuart more where that came from and you hear it after this. Stuart before President Trumps rally tonight hes going to california attending a Larry Ellison fundraiser, hillary outside of compound, all right, hillary, straight at it, how much does it cost to get in . Stuart, one hundred thousand dollars, lowend ticket price, this is the first time Larry Ellison has donated to President Trumps campaign and hes doing it as a highdollar host of a topdollar fundraiser, here it is exclusive resort resort, also a picture with the president and tee off with President Trump, if you want to bump up to face time with the president at discussion, not the first time that ellison has had a sitting president at golf resort but first time that it has triggered the protest at his own company, oracle employees have signed a petition against fundraiser trying to stop it, so far over 5,000 employees have signed on and also expecting two antitrump groups to Rancho Mirage to protest, President Trump in vegas now, any moment he will be headed here to Rancho Mirage, the fundraiser, the golf outing all kicks off in 6 30. Stuart youre in a nice spot, i know that place. President trump rallying voters just as i should tell you this maxine watter is still trying to take him down. Rally the resistance. A constitutional crisis in this country with the president out of control and weve got to make sure that hes not reelected, weve got to speak up, weve got to resist, i dont hear enough voices, you have to work against them and youve got to make sure that they are not reelected ever again. Stuart okay. Gentleman on the righthand side of the screen andy bigg, arizona, republican, i think that the idea of regurgitating impeachment is the worst political strategy i ever heard, what do you think . I think youre exactly right but this is where weve come, the democrats have said they will do this, Maxine Watters shes the one that advocated violence against trump supporters, and trump cabinet members, et cetera, just a couple of years ago, this is typical for her but dont forget youve got people saying that they will go after President Trump, they want to reopen investigations in congress, they are talking about new articles of impeachment, they want to go back for his family and Business Associates as well, this is their mantra and really is not a winning strategy, i dont believe. Stuart are you i think youre going to the rally tonight, i believe, do you know if people are lined up already . Yes, they are, people are lining up. They opened it up yesterday, 24 hours ahead, its opening today, you have people lining up getting ready to go in. A lot of energy. Stuart we have seen that before, i want your response to this one, the mayor of los angeles, Eric Garcetti, hes getting a lot of heat for these comments, roll tape. No matter the immigration status, i want every angelino to know their rights and how we exercise them, remember, you have the right to remain silent, you dont have to open your doors to ice agent that doesnt have a warrant signed by a judge, most importantly you do not need to be afraid, your city is on your side. And rest assure here in los angeles we are not coordinating with ice. Stuart i find that extraordinary hes saying you the right to remain silent, you dont have to open the door, the city is on your side, doing anything he possibly can to keep illegals in america in his state in his city, youre from a border state, what do you think about this . Own oath of office, its a violation of the human rights of the people who live in his district, in his city who are victimized by criminally violent illegal aliens and quite frankly hes violating federal law, but the reality is this is the way they are going on sanctuary cities, open borders, stuart, weve actually had hearings in congress where people are expressing outrage over the legally Legal Definition of illegal alien, they dont like the term illegal alien and let me tell you it is a term of art, it is accurate, it is whats there, thats where they spend their time on, emotional and visceral and antithe rule of law and antithe spirit of america and they deny the fact that we let in well over a million legal aliens every year. I would like to see the time where open borders is a losing proposition for the democrats and i think we we are almost there. Andy biggs, im sorry its so security as always, great to see you again and we will be looking to see you in the rally tonight. Thanks, stuart. Love for you to watch, exciting year. Stuart i might just buy it. That was good stuff. Great to be here. Stuart appreciate it. More varney after this. On Car Insurance. Well, actually. Were from a lot of places. You see were from here and there and here. Your familys story is waiting to be shared. At ancestry.
