The dow right around the 28,000 mark. This after communist china says it will change their rules on ip protection. For more details, Edward Lawrence is live in washington with more. Edward . Reporter Chinese State media saying theyre very close to phase one deal between the u. S. And china. The chinese trying to show good faith here. China announced new guidelines within the last 24 hours, that would increase protections for intellectual property, and extend more enforcement to patent and copyright laws. Now on intellectual property, what china is trying to do, showing it could be a fabric. Trying to make it a social fabric within their company or country. The criteria. So protecting intellectual property will be one of the criteria for evaluating local government employees. Thus creating an incenttive to follow through. That follow through is the key for the u. S. Trade team. Robert lighthizer is pushing for a change inlaws to make sure protections stick. China is trying to show it can change regulations and still have teeth to it. The president hopes to get the phase one deal on paper by now. He says if the chinese do not come with more concessions. He could raise tariffs again. December 15th tariffs are scheduled to go into effect. 15 on rest of what china imports into the u. S. It will include stuff we all buy for christmas, laptops and phones. The china fees are trying to show that they can get all of this done without changing the laws and having teeth to their regulations. They are also trying to get all of the tariffs removed. That has been a main goal for the Chinese Trade Team through all this process, get the tariffs rolled back. The u. S. , according to trade sources wants to keep some tariffs in place to make sure that china follows through with what they say theyre going to follow through with. Charles . Charles edward, thank you very much. So you went in on this bull market. We know thats a fact. Many people say what do we do . Dont want to chase winners. How do we go about this . A lot of people have the dilemma. The risks are if you bottom fish, buy the names that are not up yet, what could happen . Bring in two of the best to help me discuss this. Erin gibbs and jim awad. So been exciting time. Today alone 53 billion in deals. We have got the Td Ameritrade deal. Weve got medicines deal with the stock is up, stock is a huge percentage gainer. Then you have tiffanys. I love tiffanys this is a stock many people left for dead, erin, not that long ago. If you were working on perception i will buy a wellknown name beaten down, you made a lot of money. Now today, im looking at reits, cigna is smaller, less glamorous name in that space. That is up 7 . Bed, bath beyond is up 7 . L brands up big. Capri, forget about it. People were buying calls on this. Beaten down retailers are all of sudden the hottest stocks empty market. One of the big differences between tiffanys and other names you mentioned tiffanys was dependent on international growth. One of the reasons it made sense for lvmh. Charles better fit. Better fit. They were struggling with their chinese and european growth. These other brands u. S. Centric that is really a sign of the strength of the u. S. Consumer, not so much what is happening charles great point. Even without a deal, maybe these oversold names can start to rebound anyway . The Bigger Picture here, look, it turned out to be a better year than almost everybody expected. Enjoy the prosperity. But my experience is, when everything is going right the way it is, what you dont want to do is downgrade quality and make bets that youre going to regret if bad news comes out. If you get bad news, trade deal breaks. Charles right. Impeachment thing take as negative turn. If for some reason charles you cant have it both ways. If youre in the market youre in the market. If youre out stick with Higher Quality companies. Dont start to make risky bets to catch up. Charles what about this premise, erin, can a great quality name stock be overbought and poor quality name be oversold . Certainly. I think a lot of retailers were looking at these pops, very much about optimism coming into the holiday season, right . Four days away from black friday. That is certainly everybodys mind. So im, a lot of these names are slightly lower quality. They fight a lot availability in earnings. I wouldnt jump into the retailer names just yet. I prefer more stable, high quality, something really good into 2020. Particularly some of the health care industrials for me is much better bet for longer term investor, unless you really want to trade on the pure holiday shopping. You have to have your finger fin the button. To your point, frozen 2 has a great weekend premier. Disney stock is up even more percentage wise, they have the dolls. Maybe that will help them out. That gets back to your point. Some may be short term, people looking for short term pops there. You dont get good news forever. Things dont perfectly forever. Charles you have good news forever. Every time i talk to you. Ive known you for 20 years. It has been great. How is it going . It is doing great . Story you always win with american equities over time. You always win when you buy american equities when theyre on sale. I found biggest mistakes i made are buying companies that you think look cheap, that you dont want to own when things get tough out there. You want to own a stock that can endure, in good times and in bad. You want, on balance, stay long. You want to buy when stocks are down. And im just saying dont get overgreedy here in terms of the quality of what you buy. Charles earnings season, 476 companies have reported. So essentially it is over. Were looking to the Fourth Quarter now. Revenue consensus up, slightly above a year ago. Earnings consensus up a little bit over year ago. Were still talking about monumental numbers if they can pull it off, erin. The Fourth Quarter, is interesting about the the entire amount we beat in the third quarter. We added 3 was taken away from Fourth Quarter. So the revisions downward have actually gone down by 3 . So i, im i think there is a lot of room for optimism. At this point im really more focused on 2020, with were looking for for the next 12 months. So, i think, Fourth Quarter will be fine. I can particularly as we see more positive news around tariffs. That removes a lot of uncertainties particularly with brands like hasbro. Charles right. What will lead us into 2020 . Bull case here, all central bank easing around the world will reignite growth in the economy especially if you take tariff issues away. That is what the bulls are betting on hire. That is the bar the market needs to meet next year. You will have growth at 2 or above. Profit growth at 5 or above. No, noneconomic fundamental surprises. Charles listen. Central banks have been at work. At some point we hope it starts to pan out. Maybe that will be the year. Thank you very much. Appreciate it. Happy thanksgiving. If i dont see you before then. I know you will have a great one. Fed is under fire. President trumps central bank peck judy shelton questioning the need for independent fed. Have you heard that before . Do we take that for granted. Get this, folks, both parties are circling around idea of independence from the fed, maybe them being more accountable or more susceptible to washington. I want to bring in former reagan economist art laffer. Both parties seem focused in on the fed there is no entity that can create 4 trillion in thin air. Both sides have great ideas what they could do with that kind of money if they had greater control . I have lots of things i could do with 4 trillion. I dont know if anyone would allow me to do that. When you look at the fed, i think the issue of control is really serious, mean they shouldnt be independent. They should be under the auspice of the administration. They get funding from the congress, thats true but you need a coordinated fiscal policy and monetary policy. You need an Economic Policy coordinated by the president. They should be beholden to the electorate just like the president and Just Like Congress in. Congress down exercise that control nor does the president , because theyre independent of the president. I think the fed it is not a big deal but i think the fed should be no longer be independent. They should be part of the administration. Charles that is interesting because judy shelton bringing up the notion whoever said they were supposed to be independent. Im not a fed historian. Our team done work on it. There is a lot of links on this, feels could be one of those things we take for granted. Here we have a nominee may go into the fed questioning the idea they should be a separate entity. Art, americans questioned this for a long time. How could this entity be outside of everything perhaps created by and for private wealthy families and private wealthy banks and have this much impact on our daily lives . I wouldnt impugn the administration of the central bank. I wouldnt do that, wealthy families or other things political interests. The question is, they should be part of a coordinated Economic Policy of an administration. Just like the treasury is just like the commerce department, just like other trade, all those things are. This should be as well. I think judy shelton would make a great fed board member to be honest with you. I dont think everyone of the Board Members should be the same as judy. I like diversity on the board. I think it makes a lot of sense. We had a degradation sorry. Charles i agree with you. Congress has given away all the obligations they have had as part of the government, the federal government. They have. Charles having said that if the Federal Reserve worked with any respective administration we would see Interest Rate cuts. We would be pushing money. Who would ever turn off the spigot . Who would say were in charge now, well turn off the spigot. Democrats would take the money, apply it to climate change, the green new deal, a whole bunch of other things if they could. They might, but you cant always improve the motives of the operations going on. I think the president very seriously want as good economy. I dont think it is obvious to anyone lowering Interest Rates should make it a good economy. Some administrations may want lower Interest Rates or higher Interest Rates. The point of having the tool in your hand is what the administration should have. When theyre held responsible for the economy. I think they should have authority to control thinks at that have the impact on the economy. I would like assigning controllability with responsibility. That makes almost perfect in every aspect of government and private business as well. I would like to see it that way. That is not the way a big mistake was done by ben bernanke on quantitative easing. I think it was followed by janet yellen. It caused election change. They personally were not held accountable in any way shape and form. They had a bad model. If you look disasterous area from 2018 to 2011, it was bad policy by the fed and physical spending nonsense. I think the fed charles i dont know how close you will get, how long it may take. It feels like the walls are closing in on the once completely independent, once accountable fed. Well see how far it goes. Art always appreciate your wisdom. From 46 to 51 they were not independent. They were a branch of the treasury. It happened before. Charles all right. Charles, thank you very much. Fun to be with you. Charles always same here. Maybe you heard about this. Uber suffering a serious blow in london. The ridesharing band is suspended in one of the biggest markets. Theyre operating under appeal. Think if this happened in one of americas cities . Are you a workaholic . I know i am. Charles shares of uber falling after the city of london canceling the ridesharing company. This is the second time in two years. The city citing vulnerabilities in ubers app and safety issues. Uber respondinging to the tsl decision not to renew the license in london saying it was extraordinary and wrong. The company will appeal on behalf of 3 million riders and 45,000 licensed drivers who depend on uber about in london. They will operate as normal and do everything they can to resolve the issue. Want to bring in susan li. This company has been going back and forth on this, right, susan . The transport of london, the Regulatory Organization that oversees the ridehailing apps, they found several instances, not licensed drivers picking up businesses. Tragic happens have been here in the u. S. For the second time in 2017 they have had their license suspended. In 2017 the first time uber had their license suspended. They had a 15month reprieve. A few months after that as well. Let me show you what uber is saying or you want to start with transport of london or instances they were citing. Drivers up loading the wrong photos. Trips made by unlicensed drivers, suspended drivers creating accounts. That meant accounts lacked proper insurance. Uber said they would appeal this over the next 21 days. During the next 21 days they will be allowed to operate in the city of london. Charles uber has its own history as a country. Though kicked out the founder because of certain issues. These are the kind of things, we were told would never be an issue. Listen, i understand where uber is coming from, i know a lot of people rely on this. I dont think this is the same thing. Charles not the same thing but talking about corporate responsibility. If you have 45,000 people could be driving cars shouldnt be driving cars that is a Public Safety issue, isnt it . It is. Uber said something they have addressed. In fact in terms of safety they go beyond everybody else. Why should other ridehailing apps charles are they being picked up. On bolt and kaplan, french based european based Services Allowed to drive in lond done. Put up sadiq kahn, the plot thickens what sadiq kahn, mayor of london, he supports by the tsl licensing officials, in relation to uber, completely understands why the decision was taken. Keeping londoners safe is my absolute priority. There have been several reports since the suspension, possible suspension of ubers license you should follow the money because a lot of these antiuber, problack cab unions have actually contributed to sadiq kahns, his campaign in the past. Charles you know. That is what i was asking. You thought specifically picking on uber. I think it is still a Good Opportunity for uber to tighten up everything. Was in a lyft the other day, the guy had his license in a holder. So his actual physical license. It was not plastered charles not like the cabbies. His own drivers license. I thought that was intriguing. Well see where it goes. The stock comes back to a point. Maybe they will get through this shocking knew for them. Only two to 3 of rides are driven. Not big business for them they say. Charles susan, thank you very much. Appreciate it. Political anger creating an economic quandary in our country, folks. Imagine what would happen if we all shared the same optimism about this economy . Plus a Washington Post oped suggesting more you work more you are driving income inequality. It is mindboggling, folks. Look at these Economic Expectations numbers. Theyre based on politics. Im not sure how we change this although i dont think it could get any worse than we are right now. Here is the thing i always said. Imagine what would happen to this country if we were all optimistic about the future . Brian brenberg, Kings College professor of finance. Brian, Consumer Sentiment hit a high in january of 2000. Trade in tandem with everything, markets, wages, jobs. Since then Everything Else is here. Our confidence, sentiment number hasnt moved. What would happen if we were really an optimistic nation. I think we should be looking at Economic Data . Historically we have been. That is why the u. S. Economy has been the miracle of the world as long as it has. Youre absolutely right when you look at some of the divides in Economic Expectations it is crazy, because they do not align with economic reality. We live in reality right now that is historic when it comes to jobs, when it comes to employment possibilities and yet you have such a significant percentage of the population saying the sky is falling. Which means, theyre not investing. Charles right. Theyre on the sidelines if they feel that way. Charles right. My theory is, a lot of this has to do with the media. There is 200 difference. What they call the partisan gap, from reagan and bush to trump. There is a 400 difference, 400 difference between the perception of economic news. Im just talking republicans now. Between reagan bush and President Trump. What has changed since then we would be negative on a president who by the way is delivering an amazing economy . It has to be the role the media plays in shaping how people think about their lives. We are consuming so much more media. Instead of looking at the economic reality, and the world, what can i do, im listening to voices telling me you have no hope. You have no opportunity. Things are getting worse. That in effect causes me to think differently about my world t actually starts to change reality. When the animal spirits and economy die, that shapes economic reality. That actually has damageable differences in peoples lives. Charles for the individual, so you bring up, you brought up the point. Youre not invested. So when the market goes higher, perhaps a little bit more bitter. Youre taking advantage of opportunities to change your life, change your familys lives. Youre grumbling. Youre complaining, not taking risks. You have defeatist mentality. I wouldnt wish that on anyone. Huge portions of the population putting it on themselves because theyre choosing an idealogical narrative instead of the data going on in the world around them. That is just sad for economic outcomes. Charles it is. I really, i just wish one day, somehow we figure out a way to separate those two. But well see. Great seeing you. You bet, charles. Charles congressman adam schiff seems, he really does seem to be leaving doubt what is next for impeachment after wrapping up two weeks of public hearings. Senator Marsha Blackburn will react to that next. Michael bloomberg, kicking off the president ial campaign at a stop in norfolk, virginia. At this moment, how much of a shake up with if any will he cause in the 2020 election . I have a fantastic Political Panel that will debate that as well. Beyond the routine checkups. Charles capitol hill is on recess for thanksgiving holiday after wrapping up two weeks of impeachment hearings. But congressman adam schiff seemingly leaving doubt about whats next for the proceedings saying while the inquiry will go forward, a decision about the articles of impeachment has yet to be made. He is also, will not fulfill his pledge for the whistleblower to testify. On that he blames President Trump. We had a deep interest in having the whistleblower testify until two things happened. One we were able to prove everything in the whistleblower complaint with witnesses that had firsthand information and second the president and his allies effectively put that whistleblowers life in danger. Charles want to bring in senator Marsha Blackburn. Thanks for joining us today, senator. Yes. Charles adam schiff made a promise. He is reneging on the promise. Not surprising blaming trump, i thought he went very far to somehow this persons life is being put in danger and maybe even deliberately . One of the things that we know is that the whistleblower needs to come forward. I can assure you, if they do take a vote in the house, and if they do send something to the senate, once this gets to the senate, we will want to hear from the whistleblower. Were going to also want to hear from hunter biden and it will be our opportunity to call witnesses. I would love to hear from adam schiff. And find out if coached the whistleblower, what his interaction was with the whistleblower . Charles, these are all questions that need to be answered. To go about impeachment is a very serious process and, people want to know who is the whistleblower, and what was their knowledge . You know, were looking at this process where the cia changed the rules around how you file a whistleblower complaint. They moved it from being firsthand knowledge to allowing hearsay. So there are, i have talked to tennesseans all weekend say, hey, was this a team effort on the whistleblower or is there one whistleblower or was the whistleblower one of the 12 people that has already come forward as a witness . And this is the kind of uncertainty that is out there. I will also tell you, talking with tennesseans this weekend, there are people that are less convinced than ever and they feel like this is something that is a distraction. Charles right. You heard this 30 hours of testimony and not anything that is impeachable offense. Charles to that point. Not just tennesseans. Particularly polls in key swing states where independents fall dramatically, with need or want for impeachment. This doesnt feel like the case has been made. Even when adam schiff talks about it, there is a certain element of doubt there, a certain element of frustration. We havent heard from nancy pelosi. I believe was brought into the whole thing sort of kicking and screaming to appease the aoc branch of her party . Youre exactly right. The lack of clarity has added to confusion. And when you have that, people say this is more politics as usual. They heard some testimony. Witness after witness say no extortion. They know the Mueller Report was over and done with. So they are done with this issue. Youre right, theyre beginning to move away from the party. Theyre looking at their 401 k s, and theyre looking at the race wreaths and christmas bonus, my life is in pretty good shape. Definitely dont want to do this stuff during the holidays. But if they push it out who knows. I want to talk about something youre doing. You will be with President Trump when you sign your womens suffrage coin bill. Believe me it doesnt necessarily roll off the tongue but it is amazing. It is a commemorative coin and honoring the 19th amendment. What this means to you, for you . I want to say one thing, senator . When you were running, and there were all these articles about women who were bashing the ceiling in d. C. , they always focused on democrats. I say kudos to all the women who joined politics but i dont think you got what you deserve. Your recognition as Congress Person initially and now as a senator . Well i appreciate that. I will tell you, i share this joyous moment today with all of our women in both the house and the senate. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand from new york is the lead democrat sponsor on this bill. You know, the push for womens suffrage was a 72year fight. It started in seneca falls, new york in 1848 and it finished in nashville on august 18th, 1920. We came together to do this, to create a Silver Dollar coin that would commemorate 100 years of womens suffrage and actually we think it is pretty remarkable that new york and tennessee at the 100 year mark are each represented by female u. S. Senators. Charles how about that . I will give five. I would say two for ply granddaughters but also for my granddaughters and grand sons as well. Absolutely. Charles thank you. Thank you. Charles market is at record highs. The market is feeling unstoppable. That makes me wonder what could derail the rally . I have a guest with thoughts on that. Apparently people are buying what he is selling there because the first thinks he did was post a video throwing a metal ball at window where it didnt shatter. We tested this before. It did work before we actually went on stage. Then he explained the reason there was a crack in the glass. Prior to the ball being thrown at it. Finally, you mentioned he came on twitter. He just tweeted 200k, meaning 200,000 orders for this cyber truck. What is interesting to note here though is that there used to be a 1000dollar deposit for the model 3 reservation. There is only 100dollar refundable deposit for this one. That may be having some impact here. But certainly a very interesting story. Elon does this, charles. He gets himself in trouble. He manages to claw out of it. Charles he certainly does, jackie. Thank you very much. Appreciate it. Former new york city mayor Michael Bloomberg in fact about to hold his First Campaign event. It is to be in norfolk, virginia later this hour. In his statement he said quote, im running for president to depete donald trump and rebuild america. We cannot afford four more years of President Trumps reckless actions and he represents existential threat to our country and our values. If he wins another term in office we will never recover from the damage. 10 weeks before the voting, a lot of people are wonder whether it is too little, too late. We have jenna ellis and talk radio show host rashad ritchie. Jenna, that is pretty damning, for more years of President Trump, in america, america, which has gone through two world wars, great depression, all kinds of calamity, that we can never recover from your boss if he gets another term in office. Recover from what . Ashes of the greatest economy and lowest Unemployment Rate and all these things stacked, judicial bench so great and deep. All of these things President Trump has done to make America Great again, that is what he thinks we have to rebuild from . He is feeling marketing 101, you cant present a solution without first selling there is a problem. Charles right. Americans know, there is not a problem here. It is that america is actually thriving. So what bloomberg is actually doing is showing his hand, that he knows that all of the other democrats in the field are incompetent extremists so he having to put his hat in the ring and somehow differentiate himself. Charles rashad. No doubt that Michael Bloomberg must believe there is something wrong with the current crop of contenders or he wouldnt have jumped into the race. He does believe that. This is more so a shot at joe biden than anybody else running. He does not believe that joe biden, more of a moderate in had race. In his opinion, probably the most electable against trump. He doesnt believe biden can pull it off. Well look at numbers of the reason bloomberg is getting in here. He is numbers guy. He thinks the electability argument is primary argument. Rashad, i have to cut you off one second. We have sound coming up from President Trump. Well take a listen. Then well come back. Say it . [inaudible]. We have a great friendship. Theyre great people. We have a lot of people from bulgaria that are in this country, living in this country. They have become citizens of the United States. Were going to be talking about the visa program as per the request of your Prime Minister. But they are great people. We have a very Good Relationship reporter [inaudible] Lieutenant Colonel vindman, that youre disparaging members of the armed forces is. Im sticking up for our armed forces. There has never been a president that will stick up for them and has like i have, including the fact that we spent 2 1 2 trillion dollars rebuilding our armed forces. And some very unfair things were happening. You let Sergeant Bergdahl go. You let others go including a young gentleman now a person who president obama let go who stole tremendous amounts of classified information. And you let that person go. But Sergeant Bergdahl, we just lost another man who went after, he died last week. He went after from, he was paralyzed from just about the neck down. And he died last week. Going after Sergeant Bergdahl, trying to find Sergeant Bergdahl. So when you have a system that allows Sergeant Bergdahl to go and you probably had five to six people killed, nobody knows the number because he left, he gets a slap on the wrist, if that. Then you have a system where these warriors get put in jail for 25 years, im going to stick for our warrior. I will stick up for the warriors. Thank you very much, everybody. Person im talking about is Chelsea Manning by the way, if you had any doubt. Of the so you have Chelsea Manning, who after, after Chelsea Manning was, i assumed pardoned by president obama, Chelsea Manning went around and badmouthed president obama on top of Everything Else. So when you have a Chelsea Manning who stole classified information and did many, many things that were not good, and gets pardoned or whatever happened, an you have a Sergeant Bergdahl who gets virtually nothing happens, a slap on the wrist, and then they want put these warriors in jail for 25 years, one of them, served six years in jail, had many years left as a fighter. Were not going to do that to our people. [reporters shouting questions] reporter what do you make of Rudy Giuliani says he has insurance. I dont know. Rudy is a great guy. Rudy was, he covered that himself, you know that rudy is the best mayor in the history of new york in my opinion. The strongest mayor, the best mayor. Rudy is a great crime fighter corruption fighter. Probably the best in 50 years when he was here also, when he was at the u. S. Attorney in southern district. He was phenomenal. Rudy is a great person. And, i think that may be the press is not treating rudy very well and i think thats unfair. Rudy was a great mayor and a great crime fighter. Thank you very much. Reporter [inaudible] i might come. I might come. Its, country where we have a lot of in common. We have a Prime Minister that we like a lot. So that could happen. Thank you very much, everybody. Thank you. [reporters shouting questions] thank you, everybody. By the way usmca, i can tell you it is sitting on Nancy Pelosis desk, wait, please, please. Please. The usmca, that is the deal, the trade deal, the great trade deal for the farmers, manufacturers, workers, of all types including union, it is sitting on Nancy Pelosis desk. She is incapable of moving it looks like. Everybody knows its a great deal. She knows its a great deal. She said it. She keeps saying she wants to get it done. Were talking about many, many months, sitting on her desk, no votes. She has to help the democrats because they will vote for it, most of them. I guess all the republicans will vote for it. The system is, the way the system works, she has to put it up for a vote. She hasnt wanted to do it i understand a couple of the unions, aflcio, they are asking her to hold it for a while because maybe make trump look bad. I get a lot of votes out of the aflcio, except for maybe the top, who i actually like. Richard trumka, nice guy. But nancy pelosi should put it up for a vote because at some point pretty soon you will have canada, you will have mexico saying, whats going on . Send the agreement back. Lets not make the deal. And i wouldnt blame them at all. That is okay. Well blame nancy. She has to put, the United States, canada, mexico, trade deal, a phenomenal deal for our farmers, for everybody, its a great deal for our country. It replaces one of the worst trade deals ever made. That nafta. That is great deal. She has to put it up for a vote. She doesnt have to talk to anybody. Were putting it up for a vote immediately and a lot of time is being wasted. Mexico and canada will pull it pretty soon. If they do, it is her fault, not mine. We gave you a great deal. It is her fault. Got to get going. Got to get going. She is really traumatized. Thank you very much. [reporters shouting questions] thank you very much. Thank you very much, everybody. Huh . Thank you. Unbelievable. More friendly than i thought. Lets go. Charles President Trump at the white house, meeting with the Prime Minister of bulgaria, asked about a lot of things but finally toward the end, usmca, major megatrade deal, potential trade deal between the United States and canada, mexico. Jenna ellis is with us. Its a great trade deal. Nancy pelosi knows its a great trade deal. It looks like at the very least its going to be pushed off maybe until next year. That ruled the market last week because everyone is wondering why would the democrats drag their feet on this one. The democrats are dragging their feet on everything because they are forgetting they are actually in congress which because we have a separation of powers and all legislative Authority Given to congress and the legislative branch, they actually have to work with President Trump, but they are wasting the taxpayers money on all this impeachment inquiry circus, on so many things just to antagonize President Trump that they are forgetting to do their job. Circling back to Michael Bloomberg, my advice to him is if he really wants to make a difference, maybe he should run for congress as a democrat and actually get something done. Let me push back on that just a little bit. First off, its not the majority of democrats. I actually think most democrats will vote in favor of this bill once they work out some of the language and details. Nancy pelosi should allow for a vote. I dont stand with her on blocking the vote entirely. But when you have a talking point that summarily dismisses the entire Democratic Congress and say that they are inactive, that is simply untrue to the narrative. There are a lot of democrats who are prounion and pro this deal and they will vote for it if what are they doing, though . Charles it does get to the grandstanding part. I want to ask you about this. Mayor bloomberg, part of the advertising is that hes a doer, he gets things done. President trump has gotten a lot of things done since hes been in office. It feels like this is one of these big gifts you acknowledge a lot of folks want to see done on both sides of the aisle. Farmers want to see it, Small Business wants to see it. Theres a political calculus that does impact the rest of the Democratic Party if its not done. Well, it does. That is the unfortunate case of tribalism in our political narrative today, charles. I disagree with it. I think we should have more independent thinkers on both sides of the political aisle. Bloomberg is getting into this race because right now, 70 of democrats are saying that it is more important that somebody is electable against trump than to have someone who is an expression of all of their idealogical values, but only 4 of democrats are saying that bloomberg is their number one choice. When you look at some of the other polling data, while independents are losing steam as it relates to the impeachment, most independents in that same poll, charles, said they believe the president is corrupt. They think he abused his power in order to sway the 2020 election. What you see in that poll is that they want us, americans, to deal with things like deficit, health care and other items. That is why the poll came out. Thats why independents are saying lets hold up on this impeachment until we can get these other things done. Independents and a third of democrats also want biden investigated and thats actually the point that came out of the impeachment inquiry, President Trumps Approval Rating the highest ever since that sham ended. [ speaking simultaneously ] charles i think all three of us in fact agree, feels like the american people, more focus on whats happening right now with the economy, the impeachment thing. We are getting fatigued with it all. Its a great time to be an american. Thanksgiving this week, christmas next month, hanukkah. We will end on a happy note. Thank you both very much. Kristina partsinevelos is in for liz claman. Kristina its a good time to be in america. I love it. Charles hosting the 3 00 p. M. Hour. Kristina to be talking to you. Charles absolutely. Kristina thank you, charles. Have a good day. All right. History in the crosshairs as wall street and the s p 500, nasdaq zero in on new record closes. Their ninth this month alone. As optimism that a u. S. china phase one trade deal may be getting closer to the finish line. The dow needs just 161 points today to join that party. You can see it on the screen now. Its 142 points, really not that far off. S p 500 up almost 19 points. The nasdaq up 102 points. All of this comes on the day that billionaire businessman and
