Our trade sources say they prepared to do a deal on parts of the agreement that both sides agree upon and work out the rest later. Chinese trade experts say the past offered the chinese hope on that front. He was willing to postpone in that case for three months, hes shown that postponing the tariffs going into effect is a gesture hes willing to make. So that would be a positive outcome tomorrow. Certainly the chinese feel the pain of the tariffs. Theyve made no secret about that. So theyre in some sense hoping that he will lift the tariffs today, even all of them. This is a huge market for u. S. Pes companies. The pressure is u. S. Companies. The pressure is just as great if not greater here. Lauren ive heard it spoken of realistically that we dont get a deal and we operate as two separate economies and all of the companies you mentioned that do business in china start reshoring their operations and supply chains to the us and you have a decoupling of the two biggest nations in the world.
