Trish i think if Bernie Sanders has his way well look like the ussr. You remember that housing. No, i see a free market solution. But people have to be incentivized to build that. It cant be apartments for the very, very wealthy then lowincome house. The definition of the middle class has changed. People are working hard. What that represents in terms of how much they make and what they bring to the city. Rents need to be commence wrat their efforts. Trish the question is how do you have do that . You put the principles of economics in play, things should shake out. I think new york city is one great example of this. It creates a have and have not environment. Think about rent control and wait did to new york city. I can remember being a young person in new york. This probably sounds great to everybody right now. I was paying 1,000 a month. Which in new york everything is even way higher than that. But at the time there were people who had the same apartments for 200, 300. Mayor 400. And they never leave. Trish in my building. I am effectively subsidizing the real estate company. All these people who could afford it way more than i could by the way. Thats the problem with it. You have to come up with a creative solution and its not just throwing money. That has an unintended consequence. It does. I believe there are several factors that need to be addressed. One that progressive liberals progressive democrats dont want to address. They need to look at holding up the laws. They need to look at illegals coming in. They are not looking at the real problems. Then they have created a few jobs for some people and put the police going in to clean up poop on the streets. I just moved from california to texas because i saw what was happening. With typhus and leprosy. It wont be too long before typhus is spread by sneezing. So its something california is on a slippery slope on. Trish i used to live in san francisco. There was a pulse there that people were proud of their homeless. If you do have diseases being spread, you have got to consider it as like from the public standpoint, dont you . Dont you have to help some of these people to get them off the street into a safer location . Sure. I think all these things have to be on the table. I think they are inner connected. Does involve some form of the government, not Bernie Sanders style. But there has to be a collaboration among city officials and local people to get engaged.
