Section of target over here. But youre right. If you look at the numbers from adobe. Today alone, 46 of the revenue happening on the smartphone. Its really unbelievable how the dynamics have changed. Were looking at online sales so far today this morning of 640 million. And were just getting started. We had sales yesterday 1. 5 billion. You have sales today. And, of course, through cyber monday. Let me show you some of the ways that retailers, brick and mortar like target are getting people to come into the store physically. Now, this is the series 3. Its full price 430 but the series 1, theres a 70 discount. And then, charles, if you come in and buy an iphone 8 or 8 plus, you get a 250 gift card to spend at target stores. If youre still not enticed, if you purchased 50 worth of stuff today, look at this. Theyre giving you 20 off your next purchase. So theyre trying to keep you and lure you so that you come into the stores. We have people today, i would say steady traffic. Its not, you know, a crazy flow. And they took it. I mean im in the toy section now, and i planted right here to show you, charles, because theyre flying off the shelves. And someone stole it. Look at that. Anyway, they have hot toys here. 50 buy one get one 50 off. I cant believe they took my hat. Im going to continue to pan out and show you some of the people. Look, you got a tv. A lot of deals on the 4k tvs as you can see right here. And its been. I would say its a comfortable crowd for most of the day. Charles lauren, you have to hide the hot toys a lot better than that. Thats all im saying. Ill find that person. Did i show you the bear yet . Charles no, let me check it out. This one, actually, ive been guarding this. They sold out. This is the only one in the store. Its 10 bucks selling 600 per minute, charles. Are you kidding me . Charles yeah, i love that. So im guarding this guy with my life because i want him. Charles thats so beautiful. Well see you and the bear a little bit later. Thank you very much. In the meantime, retailers are battling to compete and keep up with amazon. Hillary vaughan is breaking down where you can get your best bargains. Hillary. Charles, well, black friday is quickly turning into cyber friday. The days of, you know, waiting for hours out in the cold to get those door buster deals are kind of over because a lot of the big box retailers, target, walmart, where we are here toys r us and best buy, theyre offering the same deals online that theyre offering in the stores. Target and best buy are offering some of their door buster deals online. I just checked moments ago and both retailers have their door buster deals on laptop, smart speakers, and smart tvs online. But 40 of all gifts this year will be toys. But turns out has been mild here at toys r us compared to years past and their biggest competitor amazon has doubled their black friday toy sales. Amazon says customers bought more than 200,000 toys in the first five hours of black friday. Last year, they sold half that. And thats a big problem for toys r us. There are three big door buster deals that didnt sell out. They even extended their deal on the hot wheels ride. In store, they are trying to keep up with amazon by offering price matching. There is a catch, though. Some of the deals on amazon that theyll match dont include thirdparty vendors. And also, they include the shipping price on top of that. So oftentimes, its going to be still cheaper to just get it on amazon and more convenient. Charles. Charles hillary, thank you very, very much. So the big question now is is the magic of black friday dying . Because for brick and mortar because of the surge of online sales, and monica join us now. Monica, let me start with you. Obviously folks are migrating to online sales, but it has felt up to this point that the hype has been extreme because brick and mortar still constitutes the line of retail spending. Yeah. Not only that, but for some people, thanksgiving is still a holiday that they like to spend time with their family and shopping is a tradition for many of these families. So going out there and shopping with the family is actually something that people like to do. So youre not going to see this evaporate into air. But the trend we are seeing getting compounded by technology and the web is the shopping for deals. In general, people get together and focusyre looking for those good prices, and its a big promotional time. 40 of retailer sales happen in november and december, so this is make it or break it time for a lot of retailers. Charles in the meantime, but there, one of the few things weve seen in the last few weeks are shopping positive reactions from brick and mortar that we have written off. Foot locker up 35 in one week. Gap Stores Starting to surge. Whats going on . Are they learning how to deal with amazon . Its going to be a happy place in the medium where perhaps some of the brick and mortar survivors can live in the shadow of amazon . Charles, few keystones to the bridge. One, better marketing, three two better merchandising, three, Getting Better data. But also the four corners, housing, agriculture, energy. Theyre being more confident, taking on more Credit Card Debt and spending more money. And also, they want to go and see the magic of macys. Actually, glazier and her team put together terrific holiday home and trimmed apartment. So you have santa and hillary and laurens little teddy here. And what you see in toys r us, they had a huge surge of shoppers last night. All the way our team saw them across the country until 2 00 or 3 00 in the morning. So were seeing some of the best customer counts. Those two stores. Target made the ironic mistake of closing at midnight. Advantage walmart, kohls, pennies, macys, also took staffing away from fine jewelry, one of the most impulse and high profit items. Again, advantage to the other retailers. So you have better retailer leaders, better merchants, better merchandise, and better seasonal merchandise, so its exciting to go to the store for the first time in five years, rather than sitting at the couch getting fatter shopping on the mobile app. And as people get fatter, theyre going into stores more because obesity in america is at 70 levels for adults and a third for kids. So Clothing Sales are positive. Charles this is why we love you, but there. Because you start with a retail segment, and you give us a Health Segment and a Public Service announcement all in one. Youre the best at that. I like what burt talked about. I looked at the Earnings Results from visa, mastercard, particularly visa. And people are using credit a lot more than theyre using debit in terms of the pace. Is that a red flag for you . For some people, its a doubleedged sword. I think its a sign of confidence that people believe theyll be able to pay it. But do we get to a point where were concerned . And what does it mean for the overall economy . Well, its interesting because theres the actual economy, and then there are the psychological metrics that people use to sniff out how well things are going. And those two metrics are the stock market and gas prices. And the stock market, anything with a 23,000 in the front i think generally gives people the sense that, hey, things are going well for the economy. But the reality is not everyone owns stock. Less than 50 of people own stocks and less than 16 of people are active purchasers of stocks. I think what youre seeing is with all the metrics that burt mentioned earlier, people are feeling a little bit more confident, so in that, you generally see that at the end of an expansion. So right now, were at one of the longest bull runs that weve seen in history. If we keep chugging along to august of 2018, this will be the longest bull market ever. Charles so let me ask you there. Let me jump in because i want to ask you quickly and then get back to burt to help wrap it up. But doesnt successful economy part of it has to be selffulfilling . In other words, as people feel more confident, dont their actions actually create a better environment for growth . Absolutely. I mean, you hit the nail on the head. So much of this is perception and emotion. I mean, people dont sit there sitting on the couch looking at statistics before they decide, you know, what theyre going to buy at the mall. Its really a sensibility and how you feel. People generally feel that things are going better. They feel a confidence. But if they leave their job, they can probably find another one. And all of those things extend into their shopping behavior, using credit cards, making big purchases like cars and homes. And so youre absolutely right. And thats why when you see fear hit the markets, it hits like a knife through the rest of the economy. Its a big tremor. So that psychological aspect is really big. Charles burt, youve been called the author or the you came up with the term death of retail, particularly brick and mortar. But recently with ive watched some of your hits, and you seem more excited or enthusiastic about where retail is going. Why is that . Because as youve reported well for so long, charles, is people may not necessarily own stock, but if theyre working for harold ham at continental resources, that job, that new job is worth four times what the average american makes. If its a contractor shopping at home depot, lowes, or, that person is making three times what the average american works. And theyre spending more money, so all of americas feeling better and the stat we love is future farmers of america. Those young men and women as they see grain prices firm and exports surge, at future ffa. Org, theyre selling records amounts of future farmers of america apparel and all the clothing receiptingers are selling record amount for the first time in five years because of that confidence that you and monica are referencing sole. Charles thank you, both, very much. Youre two of the best, and i appreciate you coming in today on black friday to help us hash it all out. Thank you. Charles see you soon. Well, its a make or break week for tax reform coming up. Investors, theyre optimistic. But the question is should they be . After this charles well, a make or break week for tax reform next week as the senate is set to hold a pivotal vote. Blake burman. Republicans have been targeting next week as a week to possibly vote on their tax bill. They had been saying it with after the thanksgiving break that they want to get to this as soon as possible. It is now appearing as if tuesday can be an important day in this whole timeline. As we now know that President Trump will be heading up to capitol hill to meet with Senate Republicans have lunch with him. That man right there saying that the president will be coming up to the hill on tuesday. That could be a point for republicans to essentially take the temperature of where this is headed. As we know, they have a very slim margin in the senate here. The president attending that policy meeting should be an important Inflection Point for all of them. Tuesday should also be a big day here at the white house as the president will sit down in the oval office with the big four. Thats, of course, being mitch mcconnell, paul ryan for republicans, chuck schumer, nancy pelosi for democrats talking about end of year legislative issues. That would likely include tax reform. You would think that would come up on one of the discussion points. But also, they need to get a government funding bill by the beginning of december. December 8th is the specific date when government funding runs out. Charles, republicans would like to keep the conversation here on taxes, on tax reform and keep pushing that out for the American People. But it is possible that the Mueller Investigation could eventually supersede that at some point here soon as fox has now been able to confirm that Michael Flynn, the president s former National Security adviser, his legal team has withdrawn its information sharing agreement with the president s legal team. The speculation there is whether or not that means flynn is copping to some sort of plea agreement or cooperating or not. A spokesperson, actually one of the president s attorneys jay sekulow said this of the new information. Quote no one should draw the conclusion that this enemies anything about general flynn cooperating against the president. Its important to remember that general flynn received a security clearance under the previous administration. So, charles, bottom line, that is something well have to watch with Michael FlynnGoing Forward next week as it becomes potentially a crucial week for Senate Republicans and their tax bill. Charles. Charles thank you very much, blake. Well, of course, theres very little room for error in the senate. Are republicans going to be able to get this through . Gop strategist chris. Let me start with you, chris. Its a very thin margin to begin with, and within the senate, there are different concerns; right . You have the deficit hawks. Those are three potential lost votes in themselves. So how do they navigate this very fine line . Well, first and foremost, this is a break for congress having a 17 approval rating. You, of course, cannot count on guys such as flake and corker. You have to be very strong and, of course, the president and the white house staff will certainly be lobbying capitol hill this coming week. And, look, this is going to be a middle class focus. Hes certainly the president supports repealing the individual mandate. 86 of penalties collected come from households that make less than 100,000 a year. And 56 come from households that make less than 50 . So im sorry. 50,000 a year. So this is a bill that is going to be strong for middle class, and that is what theyre going to be advocating, and that is what theyre going to be pushing. Theyre doing the absolute the best they can possibly do. This is not something they can fix for every little thing that Everyone Wants to have. So thats going to be the focus coming from the white house is certainly a strong middle class focus. Charles yeah, but heres the thing, though, joe. Not being able to address everyones, quote, unquote, problems was the downfall of obamacare. So how do they get this done, joe . In other words, youve got potentially corker, flake, ngford on deficits. Susan clins, were n sure whershe is. Better new onednesday on senato murkowski. But where do we go from here . Look, i think the main thing we should remember is looking ineffective is probably the worst look going into the Holiday Season for republicans. I think there was some positive will New Brunswick out of Lisa Murkowski telling her home paper, as you referenced, that she is willing to consider the Obamacare Mandate repeal. Theres 15 days left in this legislative session for the president. And we know the president is working the phones. We know the president is going to be there on tuesday, and we have talk of a vote on thursday. This is something that needs to happen, otherwise, the senate looks i mean, almost imp david yeah, but everyone knows it needs to happen. How does it happen . Well, you have to keep in mind theres some wild card democratic votes. That are not accounted for. I personally think theres a hard time for them voting against the bill that would benefit so many of their constituents, especially going into the fact that, for example, donely, donald trump won donelys home state 58 to 57. So its tough for democrats to vote for it. Charles chris, democrats, of course, are referencing the big four, meaning President Trump. So is that sort of a hail marry. The ultimate hair marry to get any of them to vote . Look, theyve been in obstructionist mode since day one since President Trump won the election. And its hard to believe that there will be enough concessions to lower any of them. Particularly if you take away state and local to your part of the bill. I certainly agree. I dont think democrats could be accounted for at all. I think daca as the leverage for the bill. I dont think that has any democratic support can be accounted on at all. Its really unfortunately because this is a bill. Its time to get things done in america, and we have to get things done. Its unfortunate they cannot work together. I think that magnet is going to be more about the government shutdowns preventing that on december 8th and coming to a comfortable solution. Charles you know, joe, a couple of days ago, kevin who is in charge of the economic adviser said that this bill would actually achieve growth in our country 3 to 5 . Something we havent seen in a very long period of time. I dont know that the republicans are pushing this hard enough on the economic benefits, particularly on middle america. Could that be something that helps at the last minute . Yeah. I dont think republicans have done a good job selling the bill. Thats evidenced by the fact that these are tax cuts for the rich. I think reframing the message, making sure people in specifically, these very middle class states know whats going to happen that something the gop has to do. We phrase or rework the message, and i think you might have a chance pushing it before christmas. Charles 3 to 5 growth for me, chris, its wonderful. In fact, were actually on the cusp of the third consecutive gop quarter, which is something we havent seen since 1999. Get on the economic bandwagon because were talking black friday, were talking sales up 18 , were talking markets record highs. Were talking about wages going up. It seems thats the train to push this on. Absolutely. Youre absolutely right. And, again, i certainly believe that we have to come together as a nation. The reality is that this cannot just be about politics. Its time to get things done, and its time to get things done for our country. And, unfortunately, you have, obviously, democrats who are going to try to stop anything that the president does. Just to be combative, and thats not a good solution and how we get things done in america. Charles yeah, and also how citizens want to see things get done. Thank you. Charles just one player kneeling but President Trump grilling after this. And dont forget to watch my show making money every weeknight 6 00 p. M. Eastern right here on fbn British Police responding to an incident, after report of shots, seeking shelter, no casualties are reported, official not saying if this is terror but they are treating it as if it is. We will continue to keep you posted. A devastating attack in egypt, 200 killed in a mosque in the sinai region. Connor powell has more. Reporter this is not only a deadly attack, 200 people killed, but this is an organized attack, over the northern sinai where the attack happened, this was an attack in a small little town where militants first detonated a bomb outside the mosque and pulled up in 4 x 4 trucks and opened fire as people in the mosque began to flee and militants attacked the first responders, ambulances rushing to the scene to help people out so this was a site where not only the attackers knew there was limited security but also when security did arrive it would be small and not particularly well armed, that is why we are seeing such a large death toll with 200 people dead and 100 injured, this is a massive number, a lot of attacks in recent years but this is by far one of the largest, no one has claimed responsibility yet but all fingers point to isis, an affiliate that is a constant source of trouble for Security Forces in egypt for the last three or four years. The president a short while ago talking tough about battling isis, bringing security back, the last three or four years, combating this isis affiliate in sinai, and seen these attacks not only on churches, and the military checkpoints across the country. Charles the one player kneeling during the thanksgiving game, and can you believe the disrespect for our country, our flag, random continues without penalty to the players, the commission has lost control. Former super bowl Champ Burgess owens, and nfl conceal these games, a lot of people outraged. I was talking to a friend earlier, how do you destroy a brand like the nfl that we have grown up with, and a place we go to just to relax, has to do with the leadership, we start teaching freedom here, it has a vision, corporations being run by people who have no clue about it. They work the system and dont have the vision how to protect the brand and now, the president says simply the nfl those who care about the employees, 20yearold men, i was one of them one time. I understand what the real world is about, and that is what happened today. The confidence we had to look at the game and enjoy ourselves. Charles you used the word brand, until recently, and the planting of you will, the big ratings, this is taking it back. Most of the time, understand the risk, gerri jones is the only when, what they make in the offseason to find a way to accommodate their First Amendment rights, protecting the brand that is starting to move a lot of integrity built over decades. It comes down to this was every business as they grow bigger become a point of humbling and look at what you are doing and still tune in with your base, they have to set parameters to make sure everyone who is on the field knows what they are supposed to do and last thing if they do not respect the ones our country stands for, one can all agree, most of us can agree, should never be demeaned. They need to set down and decide how valuable it is to be patriotic, to have a vision what they wanted their brand to be and have the courage to stand up to the unions and let these kids, these young people, do your thing, get your money, make a difference but not during this particular time and dont have these young men hiding in the locker room, that is the last thing you need to have, stand on the cell lines with your hand over your heart or just stand and play the game and then make the difference. Charles do you think talking to these young men, the idea that you are making 20 million a year to play a game, a lot of times people who came before you werent even allowed to participate in is the ultimate sign of progress and another reason to appreciate where we are and lift everyone else Going Forward. We need to reflect on our history. No black quarterbacks, no linebackers because of a different day, we have to be able to have our young people understand free market, what the Business World looks like and how it works. They get to college or their businesses, they can run a business in tune with our american way which is freemarket capitalism. Charles players take for granted the money they are making and ratings go all the way the way they are and this isnt just happening overnight, the nfl has a problem last couple years and this better be the workup call, appreciate talking to you. New details on that uber hat, what the ceo knew about it and when and elon musk with a serious warning about Artificial Intelligence, wait until you hear it after this. Zar one of our investors was in his late 50s right in the heart of the financial crisis, and saw his portfolio drop by double digits. It really scared him out of the markets. His advisor ran the numbers and showed that he wouldnt be able to retire until he was 68. The client realized, i need to get back into the markets i need to get back on track with my plan. The Financial Advisor was able to work with this client. Hes now on track to retire when hes 65. Having someone coach you through it is really the value of a Financial Advisor. Charles this is not something we have seen over the years on black friday, this particular brawl in hoover, alabama. Chicago protests underway, jeff flock in the middle as usual, doesnt seem to be as raucous as over the past few years. Reporter remember the scene when protesters came out in the hundreds, outside the water tower of a shopping center, chicagos most famous shopping center. The strategy is not to shut the stores down, theres not a lot of showers. Message from the protesters, our viewers may think of Something Different when they see see packet. This from chicago, stanford, chicago civilian Police Accountability counsel, what they would like to see, independent accountability counsel to investigate police shootings, the way it works now, Police Policing themselves, two years ago we were just days after the release of that cam video showing the shooter month mcdonalds, there were intense protests, although it is loud i think the strategy is to alert people to the knees for the accountability. They point out over the past decade, 160 million in damages, sued the Police Department and if they had better accountability it wouldnt be that tax burden. We will continue to watch this, something becoming as much a tradition as black friday shopping. Charles thank you very much. In the meantime new details on that uber hack, the new ceo knew about the hack month before disclosing to Cyber Security expert at 11 on another company that was holding back, critical information, 50 Million People worldwide were impacted by this. The idea these hacks are happening to the most sophisticated companies and the reluctance to be honest with the public. The third certainty behind death and taxes, companies are going to be judged not only how well they protect data but when they learn about a reportable breach how urgently transparently and apathetically they respond. Just like in aqua facts and so many other cases there has been dismal response to these things. Knowledge without notification is something that will definitely be of great interest to separate jurisdictions in the United States not to mention federal trade commission. It is a serious problem, the height of corporate response ability. Charles can we trace this to the fact that ransom where incidents typically dont involve a lot of money. In this case people were shocked to buy off the attackers with 100,000. They are saying if occasionally we pay 100 grand it is okay rather than investing millions to an infrastructure that may protect my customers, there is something despicable about that. Completely despicable, uber prides itself as the great disruptor but this is a double exposure, consumer and driver information was exposed and they were allowed to suffer through this exposure without any indication there was an issue so consumers and drivers could do something about it. It is wanting to be a disruptor and another to be and empower of those people who are doing everything they can to exploit our data and it is one of those things that is unacceptable. This is not necessarily ransom where because files are locked or deleted, this is where somebody says i have your information, pay me and then you dont know if they havent done it, it doesnt mean i wont sell it to someone else. Charles elon musk says human beings only have a 5 to 10 chance of making Artificial Intelligence safe. This is a big issue, people are concerned as it encroaches deeper into our lives. He is not wrong. Sort of having Arnold Schwarzenegger is the terminator running around it is an issue. It is an example of unintended consequences of the evolution of technology and failure to secure, security is always catching up, a i can be a wonderful thing, a wonderful evolution, unless we properly control it. The internet of things, devices especially in the medical world, a pacemaker if hacks could be used to kill us. It is extremely important to stay on top of this, terms of regulation, keeps up with the evolution of technology. Charles deep thinking, exciting, jubilant, combining humans and machines, not unlike Ray Kurzweils singularity. A camp says lets welcome this with open arms but it is proper, we should have a sense we should lose control of all this. I know isaac asimov laid out the roles of robotics but ultimately these things can think so well. The first thing they will think about is selfpreservation. That is why it is important to make sure there is a failsafe and the problem with ai is it could evolve past its failsafe but there has to be some form of failsafe built into this. Some way to automatically update vulnerabilities and flaws that are discovered and that is something that will take a lot of thought. It and maybe a cheap date but it will be something mandatory if we are to work with and prosper as a result of ai as opposed to being negatively impacted possibly fatally by certain forms of ai. Charles thank you, enjoyed the conversation. Thanks for having me, happy holiday. Charles an update on breaking news, a woman was injured in the london incident, no word on how but London Police are saying there is no evidence of shots fired around the subway. Hundreds evacuated and police are urging people to seek shelter. No other casualties reported, we will keep you posted on this right after this. Charles senator our franken facing allegations is two more women accuse him of groping them, issuing an apology saying i am a warm person, i love people, i have learned from recent stories some of these encounters i crossed the line for some women. I know any number is too many, the senator still not stepping down despite these allegations lose the question is katie, thank you very much, we are up to four accusers for senator franken. What are your thoughts . The Mainstream Media circled the wagons saying he apologized and he did indeed apologize for the photograph but has a different recollection of events than the first accuser and other women as well. It is open and shut, right there, everyone can see it, there is no wiggle room, all he had to do was apologize. He couldnt do anything else. When you have anonymous people coming out saying he groped them or did an appropriate things im not surprised to see the senator becoming more hesitant to issue a an apology, that he didnt remember, these things happened a long time ago, he remembers things differently but there has got to be a point if these allegations keep coming out the media will not stick around him forever, there will be a point there is a preponderance of evidence and that doesnt always mean guilt but there is a lot of it. Charles a lot of folks say when it comes to elected officials, let their voters if they pass a point, let voters be conscious of the american public, his poll numbers have not gone down dramatically, is that the right way to go or should they be forced out . I leave it to the voters. You have to look at it and say he did these things when he wasnt a senator that were inappropriate, they were harassment but did that affect how he did his job as a senator and how he is doing it right now and that is the deck of the voters, if they decide he shouldnt be in office that is their right and privilege as people from his state to say they want him out. Maybe he will crumble under pressure. The bill them so they legal mode with the Congressional Accountability Act which is an odd name for it because it is not accountability, to go through the process, the complaint process, you report the incidents 200c, 180 days and mandatory counseling and mediation for 60 days and mandatory coolingoff period, formal complaint process, so many layers it is obviously discouraging for anyone not already intimidated by congress to even go through the process. Do we need to find a way to blow that thing up, streamline it and also, should we know who the accusers are as well . I dont think it would be a bad idea to look at this and see how you can make it a less intimidating experience for people who are intimidated by going, essentially saying things that are not great about someone who is really powerful whether they are assuming they are true. I would say knowing the accuser can be a dangerous thing. The internet, twitter, facebook, they can be very vicious places. You should be able to face your accuser but that is a huge part of the american legal system i would be concerned these people would be viciously attacked by constituents and Party Members that want to protect that person. Charles where do we find a happy medium . You reference innocent until proven guilty, due process, all the things that put america, makes America America and not zimbabwe or something. A great question. I am not completely sure. A lot of people have more knowledge about the legal system than i, able to craft something that protects and accuser but also allows the accused to face that person without it turning into a social media mob rule and have the media climb down everyones throats to figure out what is it is not true. Charles it would be great, how to report on the stories, mostly facts. Thank you very much, appreciate it always, see you soon. Stocks hitting new alltime highs in shortened trading session. We will look at big winners for you and, to have those black friday deals, cavuto coasttocoast continues. He pro give investors even more value. And at 4. 95, you can trade with a clear advantage. Fidelity, where smarter investors will always be. Charles welcome back, i am Charles Payne in for neil cavuto. The shopping stampede underway, the bargain busters in a moment, closing bell on the shortened trading day, nicole pedallides has a look at winners and losers. Looking at record closes for the nasdaq and the s p. On the Dow Jones Industrial average, helped lead the way, a big picture, retailers were winners overall, online sales as well, mobile shopping and new records and doing well and the retail analysts, expecting a good Holiday Season, expect to see spending of 3. 5 to 4 , 367 and they expect the other thing i will point out, fewer discounts. When you go to the circular and tally it up, the tune of 6 from last year, they are not discounting as much for retailers margins, big picture, tech and materials are the best performers but now we have to look to cybermonday for a slew of economic news, housing, retail, gdp, those are the things we will watch for and amazon at an alltime high, never bad. Charles thank you, appreciate it. Big growth predicted for 2018 and nicole talked about gdp, fourthquarter gdp, how is this going to impact your wallet . Market watchers stephanie miller, frances stacy, let me start with you. I looked at the new york fed and they are looking at 3 gdp growth for the current quarter, that would be three quarters in a row. You have to go to 1999, maybe i am wrong, couple that with all the other evidence and feel like the economy has a strong head wind going into 2018. It all depends on the fed, the rate at which the fed tightens rates and depends on how quickly they reduce the balance sheet, we had strong earnings at 99 of valuation and for the economy to justify those valuations Going Forward money has to stay strong in circulation. Of the fed reduces the money supply that will change the projection, like taking the credit card away. Charles the fed will take action. Is in any action you what could the fed do to scare the market when the market anticipates the fed hiking rates two or three times . Investors just waiting for some drama, the white house or something to materialize to be the catalyst for a selloff. Everyone is hanging out at the top. The minute theres a news piece or something it will start the selling and create the selloff. Technical traders know it should already have occurred so people are waiting for that catalyst to appear. Charles some have been waiting since march 2009 for, quote, the second shoe to drop. They missed a rally of a lifetime. People watching the show invested in the market, what are they concerned about . One thing we look at is tax reform and we are bullish on the prospect congress and president completing tax reform this fourthquarter, that is priced in, the market is praising imperfection if congress cant get that done, if things get delayed or dont happen, we think there will be market implications for sure. Charles you have always been one of the more practical market watchers. Even when you are really afraid if you see momentum you make people money that is one of the reasons im glad you are on this panel because i dont know what they have done in the last few years but again, the rubber meets the road. What are you most concerned about and what are the fines for you that maybe this time we could get the pullback or correction. I am not worried about Central Banks because they are worried about any drop in the market, you have japan in negative rates, still printing money, the matter of easing money around the globe with overthetop ridiculous. Right now whenever the transports we can the retail strengthens. Whenever something weakens, the Technology Start moving up again so we are in this great positive rotation i am seeing on a daily basis. When that changes i will start worrying. We are not seeing any leadership breaking down, semiconductors which have been leading this market since 2009, the strongest in the market ive seen since 1999, that will change but im not seeing it and now you have a seasonally strong period at the end of the year. Charles the top 10. I just have to say that is all well and good until the banks start to anticipate the fact that the fed will tighten and the banks will get out of their positions first. The volume and that selling will turn everything over despite the positive news. Charles one of the reasons banks have been underperformance is they have been terrible traders in this market, maybe it is the lack of volatility, the, quote, modest guys in the room. Can i inject something . What are they going to tighten 2, 1 , 1. 5 , the fund rate should be at 4 so we are continuing the ridiculous monetary policy. If we get a 5 drop in the market they will get scared and start printing again so im not worried about Central Banks. Im worried about valuation which is up in the trees, that can cause it but as of the second i am an interpreter of the market, not a predictor of the market, i see nothing that tells me anything but big trouble. If it starts next week i will deal with it but so far so good. Charles let me focus on the critical tax reform bill. Everyone has alluded to it. We saw obamacare fail, low hanging fruit, something the market public wanted to happen, you would who could be against low taxes but theres a razor thin margin of this going through. What happens if it fails . Not good for the market but that is a low probability, republicans, the word desperation has been used multiple times, they are desperate for a win. Charles a lot of guys not going up for reelection, a lot sticking to their guns, a lot who went against the administration on obamacare repealed, logic may dictate what youre saying makes sense but what we have seen in the last 60 days or so makes people concerned. That is fair. One thing to keep in mind is republican, Congressional Republicans have want to their opportunity to reform the tax code since they regained the majority in 2010, this is not just a president ial trump priority but congresss priority so for them to get something done and get something done quickly even by the middle of this month, we are weeks away from donald trump signing a bill into law. Charles i want to skip the fed and talk about valuation, a huge run in this market and i was going to ask earlier about the top ten stock since trump won the election. All of the ratios of gone up, some have gone up dramatically. By the same token, they are paying tax rate significant we hire then 20 . We did get a 20 Corporate Tax rate. Would that make you feel better about companies with soaring p e ratios . It would but what most people dont think about and as a Technical Analyst when you are at high valuations you are far above fair value and you stretch away from fair value like a rubber band and propensity increases the farther you go into super high valuations that it will snap back. I think it will take a catalyst such as tax reform and repatriation of the money and some sort of thing in order to justify the evaluations Going Forward. I agree with you there. Charles it are you worried about it . Absolutely but i have to tell you growth rates are very strong. I was looking at facebook today, the guidance for next quarter, another 70 increase in earnings, we are talking big stuff. Amazon, growing sales, 30 to 40 and dominating this space. I believe in owning Great Companies with the strongest earnings and Revenue Growth and even if valuations are considered to be high, what investors think, investors are bidding them up and amazon was up another 30 based on how strong they will be for this quarter. The charles a fantastic conversation, hope to see you soon. Black friday madness is underway. Amazon taking on the brick and mortar retailers but is apple the real target . We will explain after this. I think its terrific. Your kids go to college and you start trading. Yeah, 5 years already. 5 years, hmm. You ever call your broker for help . Black friday deals, price tracking firm looked at 17 major retailers in different of categories and found only three stores had better deals than last year. They found prices as a whole were 6 higher than they were the year before. Not many shoppers out and about in stores. A recipe for flubbing sales but the opposite is happening, Holiday Shopping is off to a roaring start is online black friday sales, to the web, to take advantage of black friday deals, National Retail federation expect sales to bump up 4 compared to last year making it the best Holiday Season for retailing three years. A third of all sales this black friday has been online. 640 million have been spent on the web as the Holiday Shopping season kicks off. Amazon says thanksgiving day, also known as black friday eve, one of the biggest mobile shopping days ever and they said they had more sales on their apps, 50 more, then they did the year before. s talking to shoppers outside, heres what you need to know. Last year black friday weekend, we spent 296 on average, that is a third of overall holiday sales so this is a big deal in terms of the Holiday Season where retailers use so much of their business. Abraham and gerri, the budget was 200, you blue it, what did you buy . The ps 4 pro, at target for 200. You dont expect to put anything else, one gift and it is for you this Holiday Season. And that is it. One gift the whole season but as we talk about how popular it is compared to other days let me tell you something, cybermonday is the Biggest Online sales day in the history of shopping, predicting 6. 6 billion is racked up on cybermonday and as we see from the numbers monday and lines in the store which are not tremendous, much of that, probably half of it is happening on the good old smart phone. Have you bought anything today . Charles no but after the show im going shopping for my grandchildren. I love buy some clothes. I will buy them a bunch of winter clothes. You got that . I am doing this on the fly. Can you come over here . This is what we did today. Are you ready . I totally did this. Charles wow. That is research. I got intoyearold, i have it toyearold. Charles that is why you are one of the best of the business. The teddy bear, the big teddy bear, where is the big teddy bear . Somebody else wanted it and i said i dont have any place to put it. It was the last one in the store and i gave it away. You have a good memory. Charles i have two in my house, one for my wife, one for my granddaughter. We will come back to you later. I hope i still have a job on monday after i showed you what i did at work today. Charles that is research, you should get a raise. The company should pay you. Bring your receipts and see if you can get reimbursed for that. Happy holidays, have a great weekend. Charles apple a big holiday winner the valuation approaches 1 trillion but some analysts say amazon could beat it to that milestone. Reporter if you look at apples market, not quite at 1 trillion but 900 billion, if you look at amazon, further behind, around 600 billion or slightly less. Where amazon is beating apple is if you look at the founder, jeff bezos versus the current ceo, not occurrence, tim cook, jeff bezos, the richest man in the country, he made 2 billion where the stocks climbed and his net worth is 100 billion. Charles steve jobs, the guy he hired to help him run the Company Kicked him out of the company so all of this shared for one, a symbolic gesture. Steve jobs was sold, i sold. A pretty good indication. Back at a higher level, if i hailed from there the point is founders should get that money. I was talking to three experts in the market and the ratio for amazon is 148 for apple, for apple it is 14, apple has not been given that sort of it has never been given high valuation, why do people always think apple is going to fall apart . I dont know if people think apple is going to fall apart but theyve been creative in many ways. There is a worry they cant invent yet another thing we are all addicted to and yet year after year they seem to be able to do it. Remember when the first ipad came out, everybody was like this is such a stupid product, such a stupid name. Its week four years for that attraction to build and build, that product line became a winner for apple so not every product they put out is an instant hit. A lot of people criticized the watch, this thirdgeneration watch was supposed to be the one, you could jog with, run with it, have your data. Charles they seem to be more confident, they talk about it more than they did before. Not having to have an iphone near it is useful, especially for sports enthusiasts. It is one stop shopping. Amazon continues to grow and grow. Investors are rewarding the stock and showing based on price alone, this confident in amazon is what i find incredible about amazon is this company absorbs, but whole foods for 13. 7 billion and the stock didnt even hiccup. Charles every day they announce another industry they are going to destroy. We are going to look inside the Senate Tax Reform vote and some hope the vote fails after this. Charles a pivotal week for tax reform is the senate is going to take up its plan. If it fails and the senate is back to the drawing board. Hour Small Businesses bracing for this . Small Business Owners and others, let me start with you because you had senator ron johnson of wisconsin bring up the idea this socalled middleclass tax bill is rewarding richly this Large Corporation and not Small Businesses that are the engine of growth, the engine of job creation. Have they made enough changes since his remarks or should they do more . To be determined, Small Businesses are still, there are many unknowns what this bill will entail. For Small Business it is too early to talk, prepping with early will be challenging for Small Businesses trying to figure out what this means. Charles the clock is ticking, it will be passed very soon. One other problem is the Corporate Tax cut which everyone understands has a positive impact on the economy, it is permanent, Everything Else wont be permanent, is there room for negotiation . I believe there is always room for negotiation but as it stands the bill reform has advantages for Small Businesses that will stimulate the economy and help gdp over ten years with anybody being cut will be reinjected into increasing the business, the franchise base and stimulate the economy. Charles you are okay with the way it is constructed . In terms of the blueprint, you are okay with that. I am okay with where it stands, significant improvement over what we have but all those improvements in areas of the bill. Charles the market is starting to come around to the idea maybe this will work out and if you want to look at it to engage the russell 2000, that is the leg or, the index the leg the others, more domestic oriented Small Business sort of bill but it is starting to come to life. Perhaps the market is sending this bill gets through. Will this bill make it through despite the known opposition . There is tons of opposition, that will be the challenge. Anytime there is a new bill there are different opinions being impacted in this decision. Small Business Owners are voicing their concerns, Large Corporations are positions well. The market looks great, too much chaos at this moment to say this will go through the way it is. There are some changes need to be made and the senate will argue some things that congress put in place. Charles tell the audience those changes that need to be made, might be made to get this over the finish line. Small Business Owner is not making significant money. When youre talking about a tax bill that will reflect a few hundred dollars to their pockets they may not feel this is enough for them so they will be raising concerns what this will mean for them. For Large Businesses they are sitting pretty, they feel this will give them the ability to grow, invest, maybe it is not the same. Small businesses want more out of this and are reluctant to say i support this. Charles you have buffalo wings and your argument, on the bottom part of the income statement where taxes come in the top artwork consumers keep more money may go to restaurants like yours. A dual impact on both of us on the bottom line if we are able to save tax dollars, we will reinvest them into the company which will stimulate the economy and get things moving. For consumers if they have a little extra money they will go out and spend it in the marketplace which will improve and stimulate the economy and move in the right direction. Any money being reinjected into the economy will eventually produce more income, more taxes to the government so i am a supporter of this bill, decrease in the brackets from 35 to 20 to small Business Owners and all the associated passthrough entities and individual taxpayers. Charles thank you, appreciate it. Conservatives watching next weeks vote closely and many are gearing up to take out Establishment Republicans in the primary season, mark meckler, where do you stand with respect to competing tax bills, the house and Senate Version . Hard to say because it will shake out in conference committee. Generally better than nothing but the average american citizen is not satisfied. Charles hashtag winning. From main street the way this is going, if it goes through any legislative win particularly this big would put wind in the sale of the trump economic agenda. That would be positive for everyone, right . I think it is and it will be better for the economy than if we dont do it was i come from the tea party, if you cant get your fiscal house in order you are in trouble. Nobody is talking about spending cuts. We know these massive federal programs are bankrupt, they will go under at some point if we get an Interest Rate bump the government is in trouble. We need some talk about spending and not just tax reform. Charles that wont happen. We had this conversation. Others had this conversation. I find it interesting many republicans that complained about the debt for eight years saying there is good debt and bad debt. It is outrageous. We laugh because it is so absurd, this is what they are saying when they get to dc. As long as they are in control of spending the money they like spending the money but charles at least your point, positive economic growth, ronald reagan, supplyside economics, we saw what happens with an economy that has confidence, people keep more of what they are in and it is a selffulfilling virtuous cycle. Having said that we get 2018, there are a lot of establishment types that you dont want to see reelected, steve bannon is working overtime. How is that working out . It is working out well. The point of primary challenges is not to win all the primaries but just to put people on notice that their careers will be challenged if they refuse to do the right thing and we have to be incremental so i appreciate we will get tax reform and most americans appreciate it but we believe it is not enough so this is an indicator it is not enough and folks in dc have to do more. Charles the idea that so many republicans have said this is it for me, i am not going to go for reelection, you could consider that a victory because the majority of those folks are Establishment Republicans. We love it. I love people getting scared out of politics because they realize the status quo is being challenged, they wont be easily reelected, they will face primary challenges, they need to go, that is the methodology that proves you dont have to win a primary, just show these guys they will that i know President Trump and several others have the right intentions. But the swamp has been pretty murky so far. I agree with you, and thats why its going to take citizens like us to rise all over the country. Its not enough that the fight has to take place around washington, d. C. No one else home, at the clubs. People have to stand up for what they know is right. Charles all right. Mark, have a great christmas. If i dont see you, i hone i do see you, but have a great thanksgiving as well. Thank you. Charles is your flight going to be safe . Because a shocking tsa security study that you want to hear. Right after this. Retail. Under pressure like never before. And its connected technology thats moving companies forward fast. Ecommerce. Real time inventory. Virtual changing rooms. Thats why retailers rely on comcast business to deliver consistent Network Speed across multiple locations. Every corporate office, warehouse and store near or far covered. Leaving every competitor, threat and challenge outmaneuvered. Comcast business outmaneuver. In 1948. [sfx bottle sounds on conveyor] one bottle at a time. Today, we produce nearly 20 million cases a year. Chubb has helped us grow for the past 30 years. They helped us prevent equipment problems during harvest and provided guidance when we started exporting internationally. Now were working with them on cybersecurity. My grandfather taught me to make a wine that over delivers. Chubb, over delivers. Charles well, a day of defiance underway in chicago. Jeff flock in the middle of it as usual. Jeff. Yeah. Hey, charles. The crowd is moving and david, watch your step here. This is the magnificent mile. Of course packed with folks today. The message and mission is to educate people they say about the need for Police CivilianAccountability Council in chicago to examine these cases of alleged Police Brutality and shootings of people in the black community. This is the third year of these protests. The strategy has not been as it was the first year to shut the doors down, although, they stopped in front of a store right here. It was a nike store just a moment ago. And as i said, its been nonviolent, and actually, theyre crossing the street right now and perhaps blocking the street. David, cutting out there, maybe . I dont know if we can get through the police line. But the police are letting the march proceed without any, you know, without any stops. Theyre not trying to block the entrances to stores, so i think theres some agreement between the protesters and the police. They can have their protest and for those who say, you know i guess i will say this. Pointed out to me. For those who say the National Anthem protest at the Football Games isnt appropriate, they feel like, well, how about this . How about if we take to the streets and make our voices heard . This is america. Everybody gets to have a voice. And these folks on black friday in chicago are having theirs heard. Charles. Charles well, it looks orderly and to your point, as long as they dont block the entrances, have at it. So youre absolutely right. Its maybe we need to listen to each other more. Thanks a lot, jeff. Really appreciate it. So beware. A new Homeland Security investigation showing that the tsa is failing security checks at an alarming rate. In fact, abc news saying the failure rate could be around 80 . The security expert paul. Weve seen these sort of things in the past where theyll do the test, and they get through with knives, guns, explosives. Right. Charles but it feels everybody watching the show has been stopped, take off your shoes, take off your socks, take off your jacket, and we wonder how that could happen. Right. Well, i think the Biggest Issue with the tsa is the reliability with respect to their mission. What are they supposed to do . Are they Customer Service or are they security . Are they there to provide a level of security going on to the aircraft . Or are they there strictly for Customer Service . Because i think theyre stuck somewhere in between. When you look at the knowledge, skills, and abilities that they use as a benchmark to hire people, are they really using people with securityminded background . And are they training them properly. One that we have is the screen process from venue to venue. Charles i think youre probably onto something with the hiring process itself. What kind of security programs they would have. And that would bring you up to training. Look, the Customer Service parts of the i havent run into a lot. Ive run into people who are nice, obviously. But i dont feel like theyre in the Customer Service business. Nevertheless, the security business, they seem to get flustered at times. There seems to be some confusion from time to time. And its the standard. It doesnt feel like theres a standard operating procedure. Well, because there isnt. And if there is one, its not being practiced. Not just from a security perspective and after almost 40 years of doing this, but by someone who travels 150,000 miles a year domestically. When you go from airport to airport, one of the things they really lack is a security posture. And ive seen it multiple times when they get confronted, when tsa screeners get confronted, they back off, and they cant handle it. Its a decision by committee. That simply is not going to work if you can provide the right level of security at an airport. Charles so what do we do . That number 80 is alarming. People arent going to change travel plans but by the same token, they dont want to be afraid going to the airport. Right. And the smart play is begin taking a serious look at privatizing that functioning and putting it in a segregation where its really the success of it is going to be monetized by the level of security and the lack of exposure that it produces as opposed to the exposure it produces. Charles all right. I want to switch gears a little bit here and give your thought on uber paying hackers ransom to cover up this hack. Over 150 million customer information out there. I was shocked that the number was only 100,000. But by the same token, i was also shocked or maybe i had an epiphany that maybe theres these relationship between these hackers saying, hey, were not going to charge you so much where you have to bill true infrastructure to stop us. So you pay us a little bit, you dont have to make the investment. Its a despicable idea, but it feels thats where we are. Well, i dont know. The biggest part about this, charles, is the fact is i dont really trust what uber said with whether it was 100 grand that they paid. Now, theyre also telling us that it was only a small portion; right . Only a small portion of information of date. Names, et cetera. Not locations, not Social Security numbers. And you know why they said that . Because the people that stole everything told them we didnt take anything else. Really . Im going to believe the guy that burglarizes my house. Because he has credibility. Charles then do you also believe that they wont use the information . They got this information, they possessed it. Whats to stop them from using it anyway. Theyre going to use it, charles. The Business Model behind this is pure. Its simple. Its the path of least resistance. Its going to a place that was obviously vulnerable, which they knew. And i think well hit that in a second. But the other part about it is how you can monetize that information. How you can sell it and resell it and broker it. Thats why we went there. It was easy to get and take it and now they can make money off of it. Charles how can the number one socalled unicorn in the world, the highest privatelyowned company in the world a Technology Company be this vulnerable . Well, i think that really goes to one main point. If youre raising capital, which we know theyve been raising capital. That means youve got your eye on going public. That means that a ceo, a chief executive that really has the eye on the ball is making sure that his Leadership Team is preparing a posture thats going to be congruent with that kind of venture. Primarily, we know that the fcc put forward very strict Cyber Security rules and a platform as to what you can and cant do. Charles so who came up short here . The chief Security Officer came up short and the ceo came up short. I would venture to say the cfo as well. Charles ramifications . Well, quickly, charles, before we close if it was me, i would want to know if the cfo knew that this hack happened. Because if they didnt, really . I would have to question how qualified he was for the job. Charles thank you very much. Great seeing you. Well, november is Diabetes Awareness month. We have dr. Jeanette with us to discuss what you should be doing to catch and treat diabetes. Doctor, thank you for joining us. My pleasure. Thanks for having me. Charles we know diabetes has exploded, particularly type two as one of the premier health risks in this country and around the world. How do we turn the tide and how do we start to catch it sooner . Well, charles, diabetes is on the rise, and its rising rapidly, and we need to tackle it aggressive because its the seventhleading cause of death in this country. And theres two types. Theres type one and type two. And type two is a lot more common. Its much more common and the reason why its more common is because its associated with obesity, usually. But not always. And those who have diabetes will suffer from other ailments such as Heart Disease, liver disease, kidney failure, sometimes they develop blindness, sometimes they can develop suffer from a stroke, or they can develop whats called neuropathy, which causes numbness and tingling in their feet. So theres a lot of signs and symptoms that can happen, and thats why its so important that we see our doctor regularly, that you see your doctor regularly for routine checkups and stick to a low fat high fiber diet and get some routine exercise in. Charles and yet, obviously, were not doing that. Were, you know, we you know, we sit down more and more. Were not as physicallyengaged as we were as a society. Certainly in our workplace and things like that. So realistically, does this continue to get worse . I mean, i read somewhere where fatty liver was going to soon compete with diabetes as, again, a number of a serious threat and people actually dying in large numbers from this. Can we turn it around . We can, but it takes effort. It takes discipline. And its a combined effort between patients and their doctors. But we really have to tackle it because, you know, again, you know, Heart Disease, most people who have diabetes, type 2 diabetes, will suffer from Heart Disease. And one of the reasons is you have neuropathy, so patients who have diabetes, theyre not going to be able to feel the chest pain that nondiabetics would feel. So two of them that clutching chest pain that would make them call 911. They may feel short of breath or nauseous, they feel that would be lifethreatening. Charles doctor, thank you very, very much. Very important things, and i just learned something, so i appreciate it. Thank you. My pleasure. Charles well, al franken, john conyers, all standing firm. None of them are resigning. They actually say theyre going to stay. The question is are they right to stay on . Were going to get into that. Next. Peoples knowledge about type 2 diabetes. So you have type 2 diabetes . Yes i do. True or false. Type 2 diabetes more than doubles your chance of dying from a cardiovascular event, like a heart attack or a stroke. That cant be true, can it . Actually, it is true. And with Heart Disease, your risk is even higher. In fact, cardiovascular disease is the 1 cause of death for adults with type 2 diabetes and Heart Disease. But there is good news. Jardiance is the only type 2 diabetes pill with a lifesaving cardiovascular benefit. Jardiance is proven to both significantly reduce the chance of dying from a cardiovascular event in adults who have type 2 diabetes and Heart Disease and lower your a1c. Thats good to know. Jardiance can cause serious side effects including dehydration. This may cause you to feel dizzy, faint, or lightheaded, or weak upon standing. Ketoacidosis is a serious side effect that may be fatal. Symptoms include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, tiredness, and trouble breathing. Stop taking jardiance and call your doctor right away if you have symptoms of ketoacidosis or an allergic reaction. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include rash, swelling, and difficulty breathing or swallowing. Do not take jardiance if you are on dialysis or have severe kidney problems. Other side effects are sudden kidney problems, genital yeast infections, increased bad cholesterol, and urinary tract infections, which may be serious. Taking jardiance with a sulfonylurea or insulin may cause low blood sugar. Tell your doctor about all the medicines you take and if you have any medical conditions. Isnt it time to talk to your doctor about jardiance . Absolutely. Ask your doctor about jardiance. And get to the heart of what matters. Or a little internet machine . It makes you wonder shouldnt we get our phones and internet from the same company . Thats why Xfinity Mobile comes with your internet. You get up to 5 lines of talk and text at no extra cost. So all you pay for is data. See how much you can save. Choose by the gig or unlimited. Xfinity mobile. A new kind of network designed to save you money. Call, visit, or go to xfinitymobile. Com. Charles al franken facing new accusations and admitting that he crossed the line on the hill now under significant scrutiny. Im going to go to dagen mcdow with it all. Because a lot of pressure and a lot of folks down in washington, d. C. To resign or to quit. And theyre not doing it. Theyre not bundle. I dont think al franken is going to budge either. Hes been other than some statements, hes been hiding out, if you will. But i always go back to the first statement that he put out, and he quickly had to update it when liane wrote that blog post with the photo of him on the plane coming back from the uso tour. In the first statement that franken put out, he said as to the photo, it was clearly intended to be funny but wasnt. I shouldnt have done it. Charles right . Thats really how he feels about this behavior. Charles right. I think its a joke, you know . Im affectionate. Im physical when i greet people. Charles right . And i dont think that theres any signal from him that hes going anywhere. Charles and he also did that in life. He apologized for something at one point, and then he wrote a book and said that the apology wasnt real. So he has a history of sort of doing this. And, listen, some people are more touchyfeely than others. And, you know, but its i think for a lot of folks, its the outroar, the outcry. Weve seen only one democrat demand that he step down so far. Weve seen Mainstream Media circle the wagons around him. Whereas the same folks are calling for the immediate oust of others on the other side of the political spectrum. Folks who arent even in congress or the senate yet to drop out. And so just, for me, one of the frustrating things is theres no there are no parameters here, dagen. Its just, like, if i dont like this persons ideology, he is guilty automatically. If i like him, lets give him the benefit of the doubt. Well, youve seen other people, and ive experienced it firsthand. Not with al franken, of course, but with other lawmakers where ive seen. Anthony weiner is the perfect example of where he would come in these greenrooms, and he was just demeaning to women, and he was lower on the totem pole that you were, the worst he treated these women. And then they used as cover their liberalism and them being champions of women simply because their political party. They use that as cover to explain away, excuse bad behavior and even take advantage of people. Listen, ive on twitter repeatedly been demeaned, lambasted, harassed, and even threatened by members of the media and people on the left in the name of defending women. In the name of supporting women, and it is the literal definition of hypocrisy. Charles no, it really is. And lets talk about hypocrisy. Because heres the process for folks who arent aware of it. When you want to report something. A 180day period. You report the incident. Then theres another 30day period of mandatory counseling. And then theres another 60day period of mediation, and then 90day period of what they call coolingoff period. And then you go through another mindful of loopholes and hurdles, dagen. But people are already intimidated. You talk about senators and congressmen. These are the most powerful people in this country. And then you have this system to perhaps even try to make a complaint. And a taxpayerfunded slush fund that pay has paid out 17 million in overall harassment claims in the last 20 years that i think you would be hard put to find one american who even knew it existed. And in the case of congressman conyers, even though he denies those allegations, that 27,000 payout came out of his offices budget. So just to this is taxpayer money.
