When was the president made aware there was action and when was he aware that four soldiers were killed discovered by local sources . Again, i know that it was pretty soon after that had been discovered, but as far as an exact time, i couldnt give you that. Chief kelly kept him updated constantly on the situation as it evolved. And to a question on daca. Today the president welcomed hispanicamerican leaders to the white house. He did not mention his decision to end daca during remarks there. He did not runew his call for congress to protect those who were going to be vulnerable for deportation starting in match. Why did he not bring that up . Our federal government should always protect that right, and as long as donald trump is president , he will. Certainly many times over, and the president is somebody who believes in the constitution, if people dont like what the constitution says, they should talk to congress about changing it. What is the sense of that . Anything to that . I think the president addressed this himself. He certainly doesnt want to lay out his game plan for our enemies. So if youre asking is the president trying to do that . Absolutely. I dont think reporter trying to throw people off. I dont think thats a secret. I wouldnt say hes trying to throw people off but not trying to broadcast or broadcast his exact actions. I think weve seen what a failure it is when an administration does that, and this is a president whos going to do it differently and better. Hes looking at all of the bad behavior of iran, not just the nuclear deal as bad behavior but the Ballistic Missile testing, destabilizing of the region, number one state sponsor of terrorism, cyberattack, Illicit Nuclear program. I think that todays report shows certainly the devastating impact of the Hurricane Season, but while many displaced werent able to work, the economy still remains extremely strong. Those people continue to have jobs which is why the Unemployment Rate actually fell. One thing to note and something the administration wants to focus on moving into the future. Tax reform plays a big role in this. One of the big identifiers they think we should look at is the drop in the Unemployment Rate including new lose for africanamericans, teens and women, which is certainly a great step forward in this process. Regardless of what the president decides, when he makes the decision next week would you rather not have do this every 90 days after that . Again, as i said earlier, were looking at something that is a broad strategy, doesnt just address one part of irans bad behavior, but that addresses a wide range of issues, so that would certainly be our focus. I asked her, what would you say to the women and the families now who might have to come out of pocket and pay for this Health Care Coverage that they want, that they need, and that will now potentially cost them money . On wall street, investors digesting something that hasnt happened in seven years, that is losing jobs in september as we say, snapping a seven year streak of job growth, but again the Unemployment Rate fell to 4. 2 , a level we havent seen since early 2001. So attention necessarily divert the Unemployment Rate, the lowest since 2001 and ultimately the takeaway question that we really need to continue to ask is, is that wage growth, average Hourly Earnings up 2 yearoveryear, can that be sustained or the fact we had the hospitality food and restaurant workers side lines and thats a temporary impact. Manufacturing expanding, Service Sector expanding, confidence among consumers and Small Business encouraging. One of the problems with giving people huge tax cuts is that you kind of have to pay for it. One of the ways they were trying to pay for it was by eliminating the deduction for state and local tax that hits mainly high tax states and income taxes like new york, new jersey, california. Over a trillion. Right. 1. 3 trillion over ten years. Okay, now it looks like that Tax Deduction is going to stay. At least thats what were hearing from washington. Now how it stays is going to be the ropes. Have you peter king, congressman from long island. Other northeast republicans, there are republicans in the house from california and new jersey and new york and quite a few, about 60 of them. Theyre up in arms. The compromise might be, this is where it gets interesting, is there income cut off for it. Do they impose this for the very top millionaires. Do they start at the very top . I dont know. When you start negotiating there, you see how difficult it is to get rid of the deduction, it probably will stay. Ashley is that the big sticking issue for the tax plan overall . I dont know. Here are the issues that could prove sticky. Deductions, which ones are in and out . Scoring . How do we score this . In a dynamic way, the budget wont be so bad, because we believe tax receipts will close. Ashley the cbo always downplays the tax cuts. Or do the cbo analysis which is static, which you have to pay for what you do. That is another thing. Then there is all sorts of battles that go on and the three brackets on the personal income tax where, they begin and end. Is the top rack bracket bringing down from 39 to 35 . Incomes over 250 . 200 . 100 . We dont know. Those are essentially where the battles are going to be. One of the problems with the way donald trump did this tax plan is that he saved most of the negotiation for congress where lobbyists get involved. Will there be a deduction for carried interest .
