The policies were being implemented in 2011 and 2012 or deregulation, lower taxes, prelegislation. That is whats going to work and thats what needs to happen. The governor has stated he wants to take the course. Hopefully that will be the case. As i was matched in earlier, these opportunities for the private sector will have a greater role as well. Now, what we heard from folks, though, republicans and independents say its strong speech and time to get tough and lead the way in front of the whole world while democrats look at this and say, im scared at how the rest of the world will react to us. The United States is one out of 193 countries in the United Nations and yet we pay 22 of the entire budget and more. In fact, we pay far more than anybody realizes. Republicans were off the charts as were independents, the democrats here also had a pretty neutral response which is generally positive for the president. So in theory, in principal when the president goes out and is very strong, we can all agree it would be worth it, democrats will support the president on that. What i heard from the speech was the most common word associated with his speech when republicans were asked about it, strength, most common word when democrats were asked about it, dangerous. So one thing to understand. Thats the view. Democrats are afraid of the president and everybody else is really optimistic, like hes going to take a strong position and get things fixed. Kevin democrats get triggered easily. But isnt what came across from this is his tone and tenure . If we are going to pay into this, we have everybody has to be equal, this is a very, very consistent message from the president and what he promised to do. He talked about sovereignty to an organization which is about anything but National Sovereignty, an organization literally do embodiment of globalism and what trump has been about since candidate and president is about the the natil sovereignty of the United States but also and i thought this was very genuine and forthright of him to say, and you have all of you countries, have the same right to that National Sovereignty, its America First for us, it should be france first for france. This provides a huge tax cut to the richest americans, makes deep cuts to medicaid, doesnt require states to cover preexisting conditions, this is again ongoing effort to pay for a huge tax cut for people in this country who dont need it. Maria wait a second. Does it not cover preexisting condition or does it put it on the state . It does not require preexisting conditions and poor release yesterday that for some very serious conditions people will face tens of thousands of dollars in additional premiums. So it doesnt require that preexisting conditions be covered, a huge tax cut for the richest people who dont need, deep cuts to medicaid which cover nursing home care, individuals with disabilities and the like, this is more of a tradeoff. Lets finance a big huge tax cut for the richest people in the country maria how is it a tax cut for the rich . Its 800 billiondollar tax cut and its for people who dont need it and to finance that tax cut, which is really driving this, they make deep cuts in health care to the rest of the American People. Maria what about that congressman barr. It doesnt address any coverage maria how come you havent done it yet . We have been hearing for a long time. Look, we put forth in the proposals. We are not in the majority. We have a lot of good ideas to drive down costs, increase competition, make prescription maria congressman barr, are you going to jump in here . Denying the American People choices and competition, obamacare is the law thats driving up, driving up costs and so, you know tell that to the millions of people who have health care now. I respect my colleague, but the bottom line is i trust the state of kentucky, i trust our governors, i trust our states, i trust federalism and so i would just say, look, lets put power back in the hands of our leadership in the state governments who are closer to the people who know the particular needs of their unique and vulnerable populations. Very optimistic, from chairman brady hes going to be releasing in paper this coming week when we get back to washington next week outline, blueprint in writing of basic principals of the legislation, we need to pass a budget resolution to set up reconciliation for tax reform which is forthcoming, chair black of the Budget Committee has produced a good budget resolution, we need to pass that and then the ways and Means Committee will begin the with markup. Of course, i will be participating but what we want is tax reform and tack cut for working people for the middleclass who dont need to see a tax proposal who has big huge tax cut for people at the top.
