Dagen european helped the northeast. Colonial pipeline which runs from texas all the way to up into new jersey, jet fuel to charlotte airport, dulles, 40 of south gasoline is essentially shut down. You have the explorer pipeline thats shut down, are we going to see back in chicago area . Its operating from louisiana, northeast ward and they expect to start receding on sunday night, this weekend might be a little bit tight. Theres good news on refining front. Corpus christi refiners are beginning to come back into service and that will supply the austin, waco markets. The restoration of local area distribution net. I am expecting significant damage because there are pictures showing amount of water in both facilities. The issue is when you have water in refineries and sub personal electric motors, you to yank them out and get prepared and when you have hundreds of motors going to repair shops that have been flooded, you have a bottleneck in repair. A lot of refineries do have spares for critical pumps, but there is going to be issues in port arthur, make no mistake about it. Motiva is going to be down for two weeks just assessing the damage and several weeks before they get online. Basically within a month we will be back to normal with things . We will get most of the supply in the next month but consider that in the port arthur area itself that accounts for 8 and a half percent of u. S. Refining capacity and if all four those refiners have gotten hit hard, i mean, theyre in close proximity to each other, we could be looking at continuing to bring in import to fill that gap. Dagen we also had 230 millionbarrels of gasoline and stockpiles right now and we actually i want to get phil in here, we have a gasoline emergency reserve like put in place after super storm sandy in the northeast. I dont know if a lot of people know that. That could be tapped if there was a supply emergency. It doesnt sound that the problem is availability of crude, it seems getting gasoline out of the system which is the question i want to ask. We talked about the fact that prices are up 17 cents, you think we will go up another 20 cents or so. This Refining Capacity starts to come back in the next month or so, how long do you think negative Economic Impact will be on the economy . Sounds relatively short lived. Im thinking six to eight weeks because gas prices will spike and level off and trickle on downward as refineries get back on stream. The other thing on inventories, if you look back in 2008 when we had hurricane ike, we were able to pull about 50 millionbarrels of gasoline out of inventory so that 2. 30, we could see get down to 80 million. The surveys are done around the 12th of the month and one reason i know that because i used to be part of the Household Survey mike, what are else are we looking for, wage growth are critical, if you average the prior three months, again, thats not fast enough for people to feel real prosperity. Average Hourly Earnings, expectation is plus 2. 6 year over year, steady progress higher, however, you think about classic macro economics, Unemployment Rate, this wage that way, this isnt happening. Russia and china came forward and said stop these military exercises, downsize your force and the problem goes away and that is china and russias strategic game and they are fighting us through north korea and taking this thing all the way up to the brink, it is brinksmanship at its worst if you will. China is using north korea to keep us off balance and that is as simple as i can make it but it is a proxy war china is fighting. Jon i know that we watched the number of job openings and that number continued to rise set a record north of six million jobs openings that are out there, what is going to need to happen for these companies to find workers to meet their needs . In the coming months even years . You know that is one of the things that is puzzling about this economy because on one hand we talked about, all this slack and about all parttime workers want fulltime work people dropped out of the labor as for, but we also hear from a lot of the companies that we talked to, that they are having a very hard time finding skilled workers people who have education and training that they need to fill positions, and as a result a lot of openings are not getting filled, i think some of this has to do with demographic change that you were talking about, a lot of older workers,baby boomers retiring and younger people coming into the system, has just left the a lot of empty pockets this this economy that need to get filled.
