A Fayetteville man was injured Sunday evening in a motorcycle accident near Jordan. Thirty-seven-year-old Dale Coggins was transported by a Baxter Regional Medical Center ambulance to the hospital with what were described as serious injuries.
According to the report from the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, Coggins was just north of Arkansas Highway 177 on Black Bear Court. His motorcycle reportedly crossed straight over Koso Drive, went airborne, struck several trees and came rest down a steep embankment against another tree.
Coggins was reportedly not wearing a helmet in the 7:36 p.m. accident. Damage to his motorcycle was estimated at $8,000.
