After about a year of delaying plans, organizers of the Fayetteville Comic Con will hold not one but two events this year.
According to event co-producer Keith Gibbs, last year was the year organizers would've launched their plan to hold two conventions a year. In collaboration with Michael and Pam Chaudhuri, the three will hold the Comic Con on Saturday and Sunday and again on Oct. 16 and Oct. 17.
"Fayetteville Comic Con is a fan-run show for fans," Gibbs said. "We don't have a store or shop behind our model, but we wanted to have an opportunity to continue having that opportunity to bring comic books and that comic book culture to Fayetteville, which then includes anime, role-playing games, video games, fans of movies, fans of music or a little bit of everything."
