Fantasia nearly sunk Disney animation, but Dumbo helped rescue it

1940’s technological wonder Fantasia nearly sunk Walt Disney Animation, because its early version of surround sound was so expensive and unpopular. The much cheaper Dumbo helped save the company. But both Disney animated classics movies were innovators in different ways.
