Fans Will Be Allowed to Attend Indianapolis 500, Limit Set on Capacity
INDIANAPOLIS — Fans will be welcome at Indianapolis Motor Speedway for this year’s running of the Indianapolis 500.
“Our fans mean everything to us, and we can’t wait to welcome them ‘Back Home Again’ for this year’s Indy 500,” Indianapolis Motor Speedway President J. Douglas Boles said.
Spectator viewing mounds will be closed to the general public and no Race Day General Admission tickets will be sold.
Masks will be required, even for vaccinated visitors, and social distancing will be enforced, according to IMS.
Fans who do not currently have Indy 500 tickets and are interested in attending the race can apply online at the IMS website. If additional tickets are available, these fans will have the first opportunity to buy tickets.
