Family's joy as man makes 'miracle' return home after battling Covid-19 in ICU for four months

AN OFFALY man has made a 'miracle' return home to family and friends after battling Covid-19 in hospital for four months.
Alan Morrissey from Edenderry was welcomed home yesterday after celebrating Christmas and his 50th birthday in hospital.

Alan was admitted to Tallaght Hospital after contracting the virus last December and after his health deteriorated to a serious condition, he was admitted to the intensive care unit.
