Family pushes lawmakers to update food allergy regulations for restaurants

A Sudbury family pushed lawmakers on the Joint Committee on Public Health on Wednesday to advance legislation updating food allergy training and regulations for restaurants. Nicole Arpiarian and her son, Tripp Hollister, spoke about a severe anaphylaxis reaction that landed Hollister in a hospital after he was given peanut butter at a restaurant despite warning the staff of his allergy.
