Family of fashion designer Alice Temperley left with no choice but to give away thousands of cider apples after Storm Ciaran blew them off the trees in their orchard

A windfall of two tonnes of apples have washed up into the corner of the family's orchard, in Pass Vale Farm in Burrow Hill, Somerset, after the recent stormy weather.
