Family dog killed in Northwest Rochester structure fire

Firefighters in Rochester are responding to a structure fire in Northwest Rochester this afternoon that killed a family pet.
The Rochester Fire Department was called around 4:30 p.m. to a structure fire in the 3500 block of Sixth Street Northwest. The fire was reported by one of the neighbors, and flames were seen coming out of the windows, said Rochester firefighter Chad Kuhlman.
