(Seguin) — Local stores and companies are headed to Max Starcke Park this weekend to do a little business.
The Seguin Area Chamber of Commerce is inviting families out to its first Business in the Park event at Max Starcke Park.
Kelsyi Meza, the chamber’s business and events manager, says local businesses will be setting up shop around the park and will be sharing their goods and services with residents.
“It’s free to the public. So, you can come anytime between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. We are going to have tables set up inside of the pavilion. We are going to have some tents alongside the pavilion and then we are going to have some big premier booths that are going to have some really cool things. We are going to have some cars on display. We are going to have a bunch of games out there and then you just really go round and meet different people in the community — l earn a little bit about their business and we are going to have some really great door prizes that we are going to be giving out so if you go to at least 15 of the booths, we will give you a little park passport — you get that all stamped and filled out and then you stay until 2:30 p.m. and we’ll be doing some really great door prize drawings,” said Meza.
