Fall storms should tell residents to be prepared for wet winter

FAIRFIELD — The rain that wetted Solano County and surrounding areas Monday did not bring the kind of localized flooding problems that the last storms brought, but officials said it should still serve as a reminder to be prepared for the storms to come.
