The police have registered a case against a woman for posing as a doctor and holding a health camp in Dharampur on Sunday evening.
In his complaint to the police, Dharampur panchayat member Ajay Kumar said he had met Puja Sharma a few days ago through some villagers. They had introduced her as a doctor who had served with the IGMC and PGI. Villagers decided to hold a health camp, hoping it would benefit the people. Doubts arose when the “doctor” prescribed some supplements and directed people to buy them online. Locals called the police. However, she failed to produce any proof of her medical qualifications. DSP Yogesh Rolta said a notice had been served to her. — TNS
