Fairview defeats Hathaway to win back-to-back Class B State Championships

LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - The No. 2 seeded Fairview Lady Panthers overcame a 10-point halftime deficit to win back-to-back Class B State Championships. Fairview used a 19-7 third quarter to pull past top-seeded Hathaway 55-51 at the University Center in Hammond.
The title is head coach Kyle Jinks’ 11th.
“I’m going to start putting them on my toes,” laughed Jinks during the postgame press conference.
The two schools met in the 2020 Class B Championship with the Lady Panthers winning, 65-55.
