Fairfield council lauds Human Resources manager, Parks & Rec
The team award went to the Parks and Recreation Department.
“As I reflect back on the year and consider the employees that have shouldered the biggest responsibilities and successfully risen to the challenge, you are forefront in my mind,” City Manager Stefan Chatwin wrote in a letter to Angela Broaddus, the Human Resource manager.
That letter and the one spelling out the achievements by the Parks & Recreation staff were read Tuesday night to the City Council.
“You have worked tirelessly over the last year to support and provide guidance to the entire city staff. You regularly worked after hours and weekends to provide the highest level of service. With Covid-19 safety protocols and guidelines constantly changing, you became the city’s expert on Covid-19,” the letter states.
