BELMONT — The Union Local School District launched new opportunities this week for students who have fallen behind during the COVID-19 pandemic or who want to supplement their learning with more activities.
A visit to the learning center at Union Local High School found students working on homework and projects and preparing for tests under the direction of Elyse Swallie, a ninth grade world studies teacher, and Kayla Mathias, high school math teacher. Swallie noted the middle school/high school group includes students in grades six through 12.
