CHURCH leaders in Bolton are set to stage an online conference around supporting asylum seekers and refugees.
Part of the Passion Bolton 2030 initiative, the exercise is designed to promote services already on offer - and how such assistance can be developed going forward.
The event, next Wednesday, will have no fewer than 14 speakers, each addressing different aspects of the support network.
A spokesman said: “(This conference is) aimed at developing the support for asylum seekers and refugees in Bolton by churches and other Christian organisations by suggesting ways in which they could support existing organisations who support asylum seekers in Bolton.
