Explosions reported in Pa. town leads to discovery of bomb-making materials, arrest: police

After numerous, unexplained explosions shook a Carbon County community, police charged a 28-year-old man they say was found with bomb-making materials in his home.
Investigators also say Anthony Petrone, of Weatherly, had an explosive device in his backpack when he visited an area dollar store last week, WNEP is reporting.
Weatherly police and the Pennsylvania State Police Hazardous Device and Explosive section executed a search warrant on the home of Petrone Saturday and found homemade explosives and bomb-making materials, WFMZ reports.
Random and unexplained explosions prompted the warrant, reports indicate.
