Octo today announced the addition of Letitia “Tish” Long to its Board of Directors. Long served as a civilian from 1978 to 2014 in positions of increasing responsibility in Naval Intelligence and the Intelligence Community (IC), culminating in her appointment as Director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). In this capacity, Long was the first woman in history to serve as the head of a major intelligence agency.
The addition of Long brings to Octo’s Board of Directors further focus on the IC, a core customer, and marks Octo’s history of commitment to the IC: in 2019, Octo acquired Connexta, a leading provider of enterprise data discovery software used across the IC and by U.S. allies around the globe.
