Former No Limit artist Mac was granted parole after serving 20 years in prison during a recent hearing, at which Mac and his parents were present to hear the verdict.
There was a unanimous vote to grant Mac, born McKinley Phipps, Jr., immediate parole, with Board Vice Chair Jim Wise telling Mac that he considers him "very lucky." Board member Victor Jones also told Mac that he was going to take a chance on him by granting him parole, and he wished him good luck.
