Ex-top cop believes senior members of Kinahan cartel will be 'under serious pressure' after gardai's move against Monk

He made the claim about the Kinahans after the decision was made to charge fugitive The Monk with the murder of David Byrne at Dublin’s Regency Hotel on February 5, 2016.
The retired Garda believes the decision to charge Hutch will lead to mob boss Daniel Kinahan and other senior gang members in Dubai panicking that they too could be charged with serious offences.
At present, Daniel Kinahan remains a person of interest in three investigations by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau.
As Kinahan and fellow cartel ­lieutenants continue to remain in Dubai, gardai hope to hit them with directing the activities of organised crime gang charges.
