Ex-state trooper appears in court as defendant, denies 20 criminal charges

Giancarlo DiGenova pleaded not guilty Thursday to 16 misdemeanors and four felony charges. The allegations against him include stealing property worth more than $40,000 from an evidence storage area, including a Rolex watch, which he reportedly said he then gave to his son.
