Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N Chandrababu Naidu has been remanded to judicial custody in a corruption case. He has been allotted a block in the jail to reside until further proceedings. Naidu's arrest has led to a state bandh called by the TDP. The case is related to the alleged establishment of Centers of Excellence in the state, causing a loss of over Rs 300 crores to the government.
