Everton issue strong statement criticising betrayal of European Super League

Everton have released a statement to officially condemn other Premier League clubs planning to break away into a European Super League.
The ‘big six’ teams in the English top flight have announced their intentions to join a new European Super League. The competition would rival the Champions League by putting the continent’s biggest clubs up against each other. However, many have condemned the idea.
Hence, some want the six Premier League teams involved in the competition to pull out.
And now Everton have added their voice to those calling for the plans to end. They had some strong words in a club statement.
