Evacuation orders for Green District Fire have been lifted
"There is currently a wildfire burning in the area of Green District," said Douglas County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Sergeant Brad O'Dell. "We have a lot of staff, a lot of resources that are headed that day for firefighter and responder safety. We're asking that residents please stay out of the way."

ROSEBURG, Ore.--Evacuation orders for the Green District Fire have been lifted. Officials said the road closures on Carnes Road and Highway 99 have been lifted as well.
Landers Lane at Melody is still closed as well as the area west of Landers Lane and Melody.
