Orpheus is often the center of the story, but Sarah Ruhl's 2003 play "Eurydice" shifts the focus to his wife and her time in the underworld. This modern retelling will be performed over the course of two weekends starting Nov. 10 at UC Santa Cruz under the direction of drama lecturer Noah Lucé.
