Despite lacking the star quality of tournaments gone by, the Czech Republic have still qualified for their seventh consecutive European Championship.
After conceding five goals in their opening qualifier against England, manager Jaroslav Šilhavý worked to improve the squad's morale and organisation, and they gained revenge with a 2-1 victory over the "Three Lions" in October 2019.
Although drawn into a tough Group D, the Czech Republic will be a hard team to break down and if striker Patrik Schick can score goals, they have every chance of progressing.
Šilhavý and his players will be dreaming that they can even emulate the country's most recent "golden generation" of 2004, which advanced to the semi-finals.
