EU agrees 2040 fossil boiler ban in revamped green buildings law

Europe aims to make all buildings climate neutral by 2050 as part of plans to cut emissions to net-zero. New residential buildings to have solar rooftops from 2030 onwards and fossil fuel boilers will be phased out by 2040.
