Ethanol company with Iowa plant fined $1.7M by EPA over alleged reporting violations

The agency alleged 131 reporting errors involving chemicals such as benzene, ethylbenzene, formaldehyde and toluene. At the Iowa plant, 31 reporting errors are alleged, with a fine of $209,241.
