Cigna Corp. on Thursday announced changes to leadership at Cigna and Evernorth, the company's health services portfolio brand, starting Jan. 1.
Under the changes, Cigna CFO Eric Palmer will become the president and COO of Evernorth, and Cigna's President of Government Business Brian Evanko will become executive vice president and CFO of Cigna. Other changes involve Matt Manders taking on oversight of Cigna's government business; Aparna Abburi becoming president of Medicare for Cigna; and Amy Bricker being named president of Express Scripts for Cigna, according to a news release.
David Cordani, Cigna president and CEO, said the leaders being promoted all "have a track record of driving growth and a relentless focus on supporting the diverse needs of all those we serve around the world."
