Eric Logan's daughter: Chauvin verdict is a 'first step for justice for Black Americans'

SOUTH BEND — When Danielle Logan heard that a jury found Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin guilty of murder in the death of George Floyd, she “shed a tear for joy.”
But a nagging question remains in her mind: what if, as in Floyd’s murder, there had been video footage of the interaction that ended with former South Bend police officer Ryan O’Neill fatally shooting her father, Eric Logan?
“I just wish that I had audio or video that I could give the prosecutor like the George Floyd case, because sometimes without that, I feel like I’m at a loss,” she said in an interview.
