Equusearch Midwest, Kettering police searching for 9-year-old missing since 1999
More than 20 years after she went missing, local authorities are renewing the search for a local missing girl.
Equusearch Midwest with the help of the Kettering Police Department will be conducting a search for Erika Baker on Saturday, April 10. She went missing from Kettering, Ohio on Feb. 7, 1999, when she was 9-years-old.
In 2000, Kettering Police Chief James O'Dell called Erica's case "the most upsetting of his 30-year career."
Erica was last seen walking her aunt's dog between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. She was seen by two witnesses, sitting with the dog on a bench in Indian Riffle Park in Kettering, Ohio.
