Strange red slime has sparked an investigation into a chemical spill in Plymouth.
Raymond Morton first noticed the slime which he said was "oozing" from behind a factory and onto the Ernesettle headland path and claimed it had gone into the River Tamar.
He reported the incident to the Environment Agency, which has now launched a full investigation, but confirmed the spill did not enter the watercourse.
