Cortina 2021: slopes, digital and safety these are the three key factors of the just ended World Championship event
Cortina d’Ampezzo (BL), 22 February 2021 (MOREL) – The 46th Alpine World Ski Championships have been concluded. With the men’s slalom and the closing ceremony, followed by the handover to the French delegation of Courchevel-Méribel 2023, Cortina 2021 takes her leave from the international stage, after two weeks of spectacular races and thrilling sports moments.
Despite the difficulties that marked the preparation phase, above all the Covid-19 pandemic, which dictated a closed-door event and an organisation of spaces and people never seen before – The World Championships succeeded in delivering optimal management of athletes (600), teams (from 70 countries), volunteers (approximately 700), technicians, press, and guests, in order to guarantee everyone’s health and safety.
