ENFIELD, CT — School officials at the secondary level are gathering information to make an informed decision regarding in-person learning for the remainder of the 2020-21 school year. A survey for Enfield High School and John F. Kennedy Middle School parents to report their intentions for the remainder of the year is available here, with a response deadline of Friday, Jan. 22 at 3 p.m.
"February will prove vital in determining what we are able to offer our school community moving forward," the survey states. "If February's schedule proves both safe and effective, we will explore more accessible options for schooling in March and April. Our hope, if safely possible, is to offer a full five-day a week return in the coming months. If a five-day a week schedule is attainable, we will still offer the remote schedule to students who would prefer to continue remote learning for the remainder of the school year. Nevertheless, we still need you to indicate whether you would be interested in five-day a week in-school learning if offered."
