En default: acreedores demandan a esta provincia en Nueva York

La Rioja, una de las provincias del país que aún está en
default, fue demandada por acreedores en Nueva York por incumplimiento continuo de las obligaciones de los Bonos.
Según sus acreedores, la provincia "no muestra voluntad de acordar una solución, pese a tener superávit y un creciente nivel de ingresos".
La demanda fue hecha por Beauregarde Holdings LLP, Beauregarde Holdings II LLP, Sandglass Opportunity Fund LP, Sandglass Petrus Opportunity Fund LP y Sandglass Select Fund LP, titulares de los Bonos al 9,75% con vencimiento en 2025 emitidos por La Rioja, a través de su abogado Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, que había embargado la Fragata Libertad.
