VIRUS. ALL RIGHT SWITCHING GEARS NOW AN EMPLOYEE AT THE JEFFERSON GUN OUTLET STILL HAS A BULLET LODGED IN HIS LEG ONE MONTH AFTER THE SHOOTING AIDEN LEE WAS ONE OF SEVEN EMPLOYEES INVOLVED IN THE SHOOTOUT WITH THE SUSPECT LAST MONTH TODAY. HE IS SLOWLY RECOVERING AND SURPRISINGLY BACK AT THE GYM AND GINA. I CAUGHT UP WITH HIM DURING HIS WORKOUT AS HE SHARES HOW HIS TRAINING HELPED HIM THAT DAY. IT’S A STORY YOU’LL SEE ONLY ON SIX AND WE WANT TO WARN YOU THE VIDEO OF HIS INJURY MAYBE GRAPHIC FOR SOME SLOW AND STEADY AIDAN LEE IS AT THE GYM WORKING TO REGAIN HIS STRENGTH. IT’S HARD TO BELIEVE THERE’S A BULLET LODGED IN HIS LEG IT ENTERED IN THE QUAD IN THE FRONT AND THEN IT’S IN THE BACK OF MY HAMSTRING RIGHT NOW. IT ACTUALLY WAS SO CLOSE TO COMING OUT. IT ACTUALLY BRUISED MY SKIN ON THE BACK OF MY LEG BLACK AND BLUE FROM THE INSIDE OUT LEE WAS ONE OF SEVERAL EMPLOYEES WHO EXCHANGED GUNFIRE WITH THE SHOOTER IN THE PARKING LOT OF THE GUN OUTLET, FEBRUARY 20TH, THE SHOOTING LEFT THREE PEOPLE DEAD, INCLUDING THE GUNMAN TWO EMPLOYEES WERE INJURED LEE WAS ONE OF THEM WHEN ADRENALINE KICKS IN YOU JUST FALL BACK A MUSCLE MEMORY BECAUSE IN THAT MOMENT THOUGH, IT IS SCARY. I MEAN MY BODY IS MOVING BEFORE I COULD THINK I WAS SEVEN YEAR PRIOR ACTIVE DUTY FOR THE US AIR FORCE SECURITY FORCES, WHICH IS ESSENTIALLY AS AN MP. I DID NUCLEAR SECURITY MILITARY LAW ENFORCEMENT. IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SHOOTOUT LEE SAYS HE FELT A BULLET PIERCED HIS THIGH, BUT HIS MIND PHASED IT OUT WHAT I FELT MY EXPERIENCE WAS THAT IT WAS MORE OR LESS LIKE SOMEONE PUNCHED ME IN THE MY LEG WITH ALL THEIR MIGHT THE TISSUE HAD ALREADY BEEN DAMAGED FROM THE BRUISING. IT’S NOT IDEAL TO BE SCALPING AND HAVING TO STITCH ON TOP OF DAMAGE TISSUE. SO WE’RE SIMPLY JUST WAITING FOR IT TO RECOVER SO DOCTORS PLAN TO REMOVE THE BULLET IN TWO WEEKS IN THE MEANTIME THIS RANGE SAFETY OFFICER AND GUN INSTRUCTOR WILL BE AT THE GYM. EVERY DAY MOTIVATING HIMSELF YOU OWE IT TO YOURSELF TO BE THE BEST YOU YOU CAN BE AND CHECKING IN REGULARLY WITH HIS WORK FAMILY WHO SHOWED HIM WHAT IT’S LIKE TO BE SURROUNDED BY BRAVERY THAT DAY. AND AGAIN I SAID THIS AT THE MEMORIAL NOT ONE EMPLOYEE RAN THROUGH THIS TRAGEDY. WE’VE GROWN AS A WORK FAMILY AND AT THE JEFFERSON GUN OUTLET, IT’S NOT LIKE ANYWHERE I’VE EVER WORKED EVEN IN THE MILITARY. AND AID AND LEE TELLS ME THAT HE WILL RETURN TO WORK ONCE DOCTORS REMOVE THE BULLET AND
