Emmerdale hints at turning point for Laurel and Arthur

, Gabby Thomas tried to talk to her younger brother Arthur, after his emotional reaction to mum Laurel and Jai Sharma confirming that they'd made the difficult decision to book a termination.
Last night Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) and Jai (Chris Bisson) told their family that they had chosen to end their pregnancy following the news that their baby would be born with Down's syndrome.

Arthur (Alfie Clarke) was upset by the news and misunderstood their reasoning, asking if they were planning to abort the pregnancy because they were worried the child might turn out to be "difficult" like him, before promising to change if it would stop them having an abortion.
