MIAMI – Emirates (EK) has announced a new nonstop service between Miami International Airport (MIA) and Dubai International Airport (DXB) slated to begin on July 22, 2021, according to an EK press release.
The service will be operated by a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft per the release with a nighttime departure from MIA.
The largest airline and flag carrier of the United Arab Emirates was operating cargo flights from DXB to MIA since October 2020 under the Emirates SkyCargo division.
The Garhoud, Dubai-based airline previously operated a DXB and Fort Lauderdale (FLL) service in neighboring Broward County before the COVID-19 pandemic.
